They don't really have a fuse though, both the frag and plasmas need to hit a surface to start their timer. If you notice throwing them in the air, they don't explode until they hit the ground

This was probably the best one so far. Always assumed you could shoot a coil out of someone's hands but didn't know for sure so that's useful. The spartan daisy chain was just beautiful.
One thing I've gotta know with the grapple shenanigans: using a number of people in a circle, grappling at the same time, what happens? I.e. the "last person" is being grappled by the "first person"
I feel as if you should be able to grapple a grenade out of the air that hasn't been thrown, like how you guys tried before with the dead body grenades falling out of the sky to shoot them. Great content as always!
Makes sense that the people at the end of the grapple chain move faster as the grapple adds the additional velocity so you can catch up to a target. This means each person has to move faster than the previous person as to catch up with them
The circle would contract toward a single central point and the grapples would all end. Each player is a vertex and their grapples make the sides, so it would be a polygon, really. And if you shrink the sides of a polygon, all the vertexes get closer and closer until they all bump into each other in the center.
@@glytchmeister9856 If you could grapple to a player it's almost guaranteed that you can grapple a forge monitor and if it is anything similar to H5's forge with monitor speed I'm thinking it might be possible to break the games set boundaries and get out of the maps.

Myth: you can stand on a friendly mongoose with a broken off turret and you won't fall off when the mongoose accelerates fully. Dunno if you know about this one or not but I know it works, just an idea for your videos.
Myth : 1) Heatwave(And Cindershot) ricochet bullet will traces and hit enemies behind cover, (aka shoot heatwave/cindershot at wall near enemies) 2) Normal Melee can cancel Energy Shield and Gravity Hammer if timed correctly 3) Bunny hop while carrying a flag will make you go faster than running(not sprinting) while doesnt alert enemy of your location
For all of these "in air" myths, especially with the grenades, you guys should make sure you always test the inventory falling from a player dying mid air as well.
You *did* grapple the thrown grenades though - obviously it doesn’t pull them straight into your inventory because they’re active grenades and Spartans don’t want to explode - but you absolutely hit the thrown grenade with the grapple and to my untrained eye it seemed to have an effect on its trajectory and speed.
@Pabs maybe you’re right, but it looked to me like the grenade accelerated downward when they hit it with the grapple after the bounce off the wall. Could just be the angle and my eyes playing tricks on me though.
@Pabs What is actually happening seems to be exactly that, active grenades are treated like something that is blocking an object that you could normally pull yourself towards (like you can pull towards an unshielded jackal but the shield blocks the grapple) so your grapple connects then just gets bounced off.
I’ve heard of you hit a threat sensor with an electric weapon (shock rifle or disruptor) it creates a shockwave in the threat sensors area. That would be a good one to test
This was a great episode. I also used the grapplejack counter with the wasp a few days ago so I knew that one was good, I genuinely am happy there is a timing based counter to that, because previously grapplejacks were too easy.

Letting a skewer shot stuck into the wall act as a actual object momentarily until respawning would really open up the sandbox for that gun in a good way.
An interesting interaction to be tested with the grapple might be how you can speed up or slow down the grapple by holding front or back. might be able to get more people in a line if everyone goes slow.
I hate to recommend this... because of all the hard work you have done already. But Myth: you can displace a thrown grenade with a skewer. I was playing custom games with Spartan AI and unintentionally shot a frag with the skewer and it dropped to his feet and popped his shields as I was reloading.

Personally, I would chalk the grenade/grapple myth as plausible. It seems like you have milliseconds to do it, so nothing that is feasible. But if the reticle comes up, then it should be grappleable
With grappling the grenade, in your footage in this the second time you attempted to grapple the grenade when you hit it it looked like it accelerated it downwards, and a couple of other times you guys hit the grenade it killed its speed so while you may not be able to pull it right towards you it may well be possible to knock it out of the air or deflect it depending on where along its path you hit. Just a thought.
It is acting like a bullet. You can't grapple the grenade, you can HIT the grenade and effect its course and speed, but it will not pull it. It connects, tries to reel, then breaks. This exact interaction happens when you try to grapple something that cannot be grappled, just unlike the grenade that can move most objects this interaction happens with don't move.
