@@majoroldladyakamom6948 --- Not really, it's been a super common phrase for DECADES now to say that someone "has balls of steel" to mean they are brave.
This guy knows what he's doing. Tiger sharks are hilariously bold, with fantastic memories, and they are as the narrator says competing for his attention.
If anyone can "smell" fear, it's a tiger shark. There snouts are probably very sensitive,so redirecting them gives them a stimulus to create distance amd not enter beast mode...
The tigers teeth are the most efficient teeth, they built exact replicas of tigers, bills, and great whites, out of steel, the tigers teeth sliced through meat like a cleaver, their teeth can buzz through meat like a chainsaw.
Or simply silly.i mean humans always think oh we have much knowelegde so no fear anymore.but its like the best behaved pitbull.once it can happen everythint
Those were oceanic whitetips. Notoriously aggressive and they live in areas where there is just not a lot of food available so they get really testy and as a result attack more easily. Different sharks behave in certain ways. Tigers are particularly dangerous but not to the point where it’s entirely impossible to have a safe encounter with one. Like with any other wild animal, leave it to the professionals who have experience with these animals behaviors and habits. Or just stay out of the ocean that works well enough for me.
Jonathan Birds video of diving with these exact same sharks is much better. No scary music or dramatic footage and narrative. Its beautifully done and shows you how gentle they are without the token fear factor thrown in.
Amazing to watch but also saddens me. I remember shark week 5-8years ago and those tigers were the size of busses and Building and who swarm in the hundreds 😢
Can you imagine if tiger sharks acted like the absolute diesels they are? Like imagine if they acted like bull sharks. They are such a cautious animal. That said they seem to be a fan of taking a body part eating it and just swimming off.
Jamais compris ces plongeurs qui nourrissent des requins ! Je pense qu’il n’y a pas pire pour générer des comportements agressifs vis à vis des plongeurs … mais ce n’est que mon humble avis !
Obviously Sharks don't need a ton of "bite force" considering how razor sharp their teeth are. This is why I've always found it dumb to compare "bite force" when one predator such as a Crocodile has rather blunt teeth by comparison. Sharper teeth don't require the same amount of "bite force" to puncture flesh, etc. Sharks teeth also have surrated edges, acting as saw blades ripping through whatever they have a hold of.
Many comments about metal balls ( testicles) that's dumb. Undoubtedly, the cameraman is very brave. I wouldn't do that. Excellent video. Sharks are magnificent creatures, but they are predators. Remember that when you enter the sea, you're in their territory.
Incredible. Diver has balls of titanium.
Ttt
Such a profane comment.

Cause people just casually take a stroll in the ocean, especially in shark infested areas.
Ya its done for science by pros but its the most vain, unnecessary type of science for clicks
Feeding tiger sharks on the sea floor. This looks almost like a game show.
I'm curious to know how Brock is able to swim with such huge brass balls
