Thank you for creating easy to follow videos, i really appreciate it because I struggle with written documentation due to learning difficulties so every bit of visual learning i can do to supplement is so valuable. Thank you for your efforts.
Your videos are very helpful, Andrew. I am completely new to both Max and RNBO. So, I am learning all that I can. Might be cart before the horse, but can you go into how to create a GUI?
This is absolutely what I would love to be able to access, gui seems to be less covered and at points a little veiled (with regards to expanding on the basic juice UI etc) have heard various opinions and reviews of where things are at with rnbo but would love to just see what can be done rather than be discouraged from trying for one reason or another. Can't wait to see where rnbo goes over the next few years
awesome video! this helped me so much
You are creating a separate reverb for each voice right now. To solve that, you can make RNBO subpatchers polyphonic themselves, so you isolate anything that needs to be multiplied.
Good shout! Thank you
Cool stuff!
that was easy af!
Is it possible to connect the MIDI device directly to the raspberry Pi? And load a RNBO patch into the Raspberry to play the notes making a synthesizer (mtof, etcétera)
I haven’t personally tested it but yes I believe that is possible
well um i have a question
um i am a graphic designer and i wanna use my own custom ui for my vst
how exactly can i use my PDS file in MAX so i can export it as a vst
As far as I am aware you can’t implement graphic controls within the rnbo patching environment however you can in the main max window using the picctrl object (I have a tutorial video on that object as well). The picctrl object can be mapped to control rnbo parameters.
is the process different for exporting to a raspberry pi? I cannot for the life of me figure it out or how to get audio out of the Pi4.
DO I NEED TO LEARN C=++ TO learn max msp ?
No
