- I'll break down what really happens when you put in an order, and explain why the wait can be a lot longer than you may think. Think twice before you put down a non-refundable deposit. If you do have one on order or have put a deposit on one, send me your vin# for an update on it's current status.

I ordered my TRD PRO like 9 months ago hopefully it gets built soon !!!!!!
Yours was pink right?
Hey there great video. Really explains a lot. So what happens in the situation where the “order” has been accepted by the factory. But that’s as far as it has gone. Placed “order” in Canada in July factory accepted in Oct. dealer allocation was scheduled for December/Jan. It’s now June (11months) and no timeline on arrival. 4-6 more months is the thought. I know Canada doesn’t operate with the Temp VIN. Dealers only know arrival two weeks ahead of time. Any insight would be awesome. Always enjoy your videos
Thanks for kind words. I wish I could answer that question for you. I didn’t realize that Canada doesn’t use a temp vin like we do.
Here as soon as we receive an allocation, we can see the temp vin even if the vehicle won’t be built for another 45 days.
Find one of the videos from Automotive Press, and ask him that same question. I think he lives in Canada and should have more insight for you.
@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews Hey there! Thanks for the response! I will look in to his videos. Again thank you for your content always great been checking in with your videos over the past year. Keep up the great job!
this is helpful. thanks. seriously considering a 4r in the next year or so, ORP probably. We will see how things go.
Great info. Thanks!
Where are you located, and why can’t a buyer order straight through from Toyota
I’m in Oregon. Toyota isn’t designed to order from the factory like some of the other auto manufacturers are. Dealerships can put in a preference order, which is more of a wishlist, but there’s no guarantee that the vehicle will ever get built. If the preference isn’t accepted after a few rounds of allocations, Toyota will kick the preference out of their system, and then the dealership has to start the process all over again.
I would like to see a video on a Toyota tundra platinum Gray
I’d be happy to make a video on one as soon as we get one in. 👍
How do I send you a the VIN? Through this chat?
Just put it in your reply and I’ll be able to see it.

Thank you! Should be a 23 limited magnetic gray.
@@ToyodaJake your Tundra Limited was built on 6/16 and departed by rail on 6/17. It was sighted today on a rail car in Livonia La. That’s all the updates on it for now.
@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews that’s awesome! Thank you.
@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews hey good evening, any new updates?
Hi Rodney can you check on Vin# 5TFMC5DBOPX42C440 telling me its on quality control hold? thank you sir
I know you are a dealer but what do you think is the best MSRP or Outdoor price not looking to pay dealer Add on
We don’t have a markup on the gas versions, but I’m not sure if you’re asking for a price quote, or if you’re asking what the MSRP price will likely be?
I'm still wating on my 10 month and I still don't got a Vin yet I'm in Canada
The reason you haven’t received a vin# is because your dealership hasn’t received an allocation to get the truck built for you. What model of Tundra are you waiting on?
@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews 1794
@@shameerkhan6118 that’s the hardest Tundra to get. In the last year we’ve only seen two 1794 edition Tundra’s come thru. I would start reaching out to other dealerships to see if they have one coming in.
@Rodney’s Northwest Rides and Reviews. I did they all said ur best bet is the one ur with rn believe me because Canada wait times are long like a year and a half now so there no point I gotta wait for the 1794 one I got 10 moths ago
i ordered my trd pro 5TFPC5DB8PX45C931 can you check it for me ? thank you

@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews Sorry for the multiple request. I wasn't notified of your reply. Thank you sir. I'll delete my many request 😂
correction vin# 5TFMC5DB7PX018613 thank you sir
Your 1794 edition Tundra is at the port and is currently on an active quality control hold that started on 12/22
It’s stating that it could take up to 56 days starting on the 22nd of December.
Congratulations on finding a 1794 edition. It is the hardest Tundra to come by.

Hey Rodney thanks for the info! I have had a deposit on a vehicle since November and every time I have called for an update I either get a fairly definitive date or a month long window. Can you check on it? Thanks? VIN: 5TFJC5DB7PX019506
Happy to but I won’t be back in the office until Friday. I’ll check it out then and let you know.
Hi Dylan, your Tundra Crewmax is arriving at the port today, so with any luck, you’ll have it by the end of the month. Congratulations
