Someone may have already stated this, but... What I think makes this an interesting option is that right now in DC, they are making it seem like it's Mr. Oz vs. Dr. Manhattan. Dr. Manhattan comes from his own universe outside of DC, in fact, a universe where there are no such things as "super-heroes" or people with special abilities. Dr. Manhattan is the exception. If Mr. Oz is the original Superman, then he would also be from a universe outside of DC.
I'm talking about before DC bought the rights to the Watchmen. The Reign of the Super-Man wasn't DC either. That was 5 years before Action Comics #1. Now they're trying to incorporate the Watchmen universe at least.
That theory makes a lot of sense but it would be a masive twist if mr Oz is an adult Jon. Think about it, we have no idea what else he could be capable of all we know is he has the same Powers as Superman and thats it. Also it would make sense why he knows what to do in Supermans mech and the writers would want his identity to be a massive surprise. One that blows everyone's mind out of the water!
That was the old (90s) superboy with tactile telekinesis (TT). It hasn't been stated to my knowledge that's what jon has. I don't think TT allows u to use heatvision which jon has.
Oh I like this. Because it has already been said that Superboy has the potential to be much stronger than Superman because of his mixed blood and that they dont know what he can do. Would explain why Oz felt comfortable enough to speak to Superboy directly but nobody else. Also they are both what I would call new characters for the new 52 while most all of the other characters are just reintroductions...
New 52 Jonathan Kent had telekinesis. But he's body was unstable due to krytonian DNA not meshing well with human. The end of new 52 Superboy was literally a confusing mess that included 100s of versions of Superboy but in the end I doubt it would be him since that story was horrible...
actually, the phantom zone has been established as "resetting" beings back to their original dna template. This was first mentioned long ago in a LSH story where they mention that when Mon-El is sent back into the phantom zone, it wipes out the anti-lead serum out of his body that Brainac 5 developed for him. So when superman is thrown in, it essentially heals his eyes back to "factory reset".
I love how your basis for her being more powerful is she didn't fall when everyone else did. No thought as to if she just didn't take the brunt of the attack or it just happened that way for story sake. Just yup, that's it.
**spoilers maybe?** Guys look at the cover for action comics 988 please. After watching this video. Connect how he knows everything about Superman, how he has taught him to get up when has been knocked down, one big clue is when rob mentions Johnathan in the kryptonian suit is being aided by Mr oz. I personally think that Mr. Oz is in fact jor-el, how else would he know to operate it. Plus if you look up the lenticular cover for action comics 988 you can see jor-el glowing blue as if Dr Manhattan was teleporting him out of the explosion radius. I mean could he possibly be Mr. Oz??
Incredibly well done. When I started reading comics they were twenty-five to thirty-five cents & my Dad paid for them.So I never missed anything from my top twenty. Fast-forward to today, I can only read my top five due to insane prices ,kids ,grandkids ,& marriage. So it's nice to be able to catch up with some stories that have slipped threw cracks. Your always insightful, well spoken & have great taste. So thanks for keeping me up to speed. Keep'em coming & I'll keep watching.
jesus lasso that's crazy cuz I was thinking it was superboy! kon-el/Connor Kent! I don't remember what happened to him in the new 52 during the teen titans run but it could be Alexander Luther too
ShamanFryd Yes. Because god damn they are trying to take an american icon. They'll just keep the character rapped around their finger not even release a comic with him. You don't see Jack Kirby's family trying to get his characters. They understand how much of an icon his characters are.
I had that pop into my head as well. It would explain his interest in keeping lil Superboy safe. I got a feeling tho that coming up with a story as to how Jor El got into the position he is in to where he can manipulate or work along side Dr Manhattan, and him not saying hi to Clark at some point before now, would make my brain explode in disbelief.
The rebirth arc has to culminate in the death of Barry Allen. The whole point of rebirth was bringing dc back to what it was, but the chain of events that lead to this can still be traced back to Barry Allen coming back to life. Because after coming back, he created flashpoint, undid it only to have the universe changed by dr manhattan (a.k.a. New 52). By bringing back all the original characters (specifically original Wally West) they are setting the stage for the DC universe to complete its rebirth, reverting it back to the last point of it functioning (prior to Barry returning) with Wally (original) as the flash. I hate to even suggest this (Barry is one of my favourite characters) but this would be the best possible way for DC to complete the fix which they are running in rebirth. Also, the whole 'doomsday clock' lends credence to this, as the clock shows the moment of midnight (presumably the face off between superman and manhattan) to be what we are building up to. And obviously after midnight, the day starts anew as it did before. He didn't intend it, but everything that has happened has (one way or another) been Barry's fault, and I don't think it would be right for DC to complete their rebirth without addressing his fault. Barry dying (likely as self sacrifice) will probably be heavily involved in the defeat of manhattan.
This isn't about flash. Its about superman. Your theory won't come true due to barry allen gaining so much popularity and getting his own movie. Face it boy. Barry Allen is the modern day flash.
Wow I love this theory. I had no idea there was a Superman prior to Action Comics and Clark Kent, this would add so many layers of depth to the whole DC universe.
At first I was thinking this will be a cheap way out of revealing Mr Oz but after you broke it down it sounds pretty genius for it to be the original or "Brain Child" Superman. Although I still hope that its Ozymandias
I never minded that Superman could handle any job on his own. That's why he's Superman, DC's top dog. But I do understand the points you make. My only issue with Superman needing the Superman family is it can also cheapen his character, make him appear weak, and less the near god he is.
Holdup my theory is Lex Luthor is Dr.Oz but he's from a future that every single superman (or girl) is dead and he has gone back in time to help the superman but eventually he'll reveal himself and then he'll die because that's DC.
Yeah but History if that is only happening because Oz is directing things to come out that way for others, who is going to protect him from that outcome once a direct conflict pops up.
How bad ass would this be animated. All the evil supermen vs the good guys and jon using the armor. also, 11:46 we are looking at a drawing two high school kids did, that would go on to become the literal birth of comic superheros and all we have now. Just amazing.
could it somehow be superman not the original original, but just the original? I remember the story where there was a clay superman that was slowing taking all of superman's power. It was a theory that the original superman died then and the fake took over, but because of the spiderman clone they avoid this outcome. Could they bring this back now?
Good idea, but I doubt the identity of Dr. Oz rests on a single comic written decades ago that no one really remembers... My bet is that it's either Lex Luthor or actually Ozmandius.
Can you go over the different super men (super boy, eradicator, steel, and cyborg super man) from after the death of super man? Love your stuff Rob, keep up the great work
Mr Oz is Kal's biological father, Jor El. And people thought I was crazy when I kept saying that months ago. This story helped me realize that Oz was definitely Jor El. I mean, who else would know that much about Kryptonian technology, and know so much about about Clark and his grandson. I thought it was crazy that people thought it was this original, 1st Superman. His reveal was recently released. And I definitely won a $100 bet.
Considering how time travel and paradoxes are very mucha thing for the flash and thorne he'll be back, death is really just an end point i very much doubt that we've seen the last of reverse flash
Adalberto Ayala superman prime and superboy prime are the same person the only difference is that D.C. was gonna get sued for using Superboy prime as the name so they changed it to superman prime. Superman one million should stay as superman one million. No need for the prime part which just confuse everyone for Superboy prime.
to be fair superman was the mary sue before it was common, cool or expected of a hero without the stereotypical hero there would be no interesting antiheros like batman and constantine so when it's superman i'll give him a pass on that
it hasn't been proven and if so where can you find it. she's been theorize to be stronger due to being in stasis absorbing solar energy and this is after crisis and older kryptonians have always been stronger than younger kryptonians. Older superman mopped the floor with younger superman and Batman with superman powers scared the shit out of kara גיל ברלב
Nicholas Leon that would be true, but this is new 52 supergirl, and rebirth superman is under the same power ceiling as new 52 superman because he is not used this earth's sun. And I think it was mentioned that new 52 supergirl was stronger than superman because she absorbed more solar power than superman initially.
It'd be rad if you did a video giving five minute histories of Mongul, Zod, Eraticator, Cyborg Superman, and the new guy. I know you have done full vids with the new guy already. I know Zod and most of Cyborg Superman's story (but not how he's the most powerful), but I'm not too familiar with Mongul or Eraticator. One 25-minute video covering them would be great.
Supergirl being stronger than superman has been explained as a moment of no self control and aggression arbitrary to superman holding back. This was all explained in the comics and by batman just to solidify it haha.
As soon as I heard you say the original Superman I went "oh my god that is brilliant". That would be an incredible twist and so damn cool. But I think some people would find it lacking the emotional pay off of say, Pre-52 Lex Luthor or Ozymandias. Personally, I don't want him to be Adrian cause I think it's really expected and would feel kinda "yeah alright" but Lex would be kind of a "oh my god" moment. If it's Superboy Prime I think it would be a "HOLY SHIT" moment but over all he doesn't seem to be Prime so....whatever, DC's fuckin killin it with Rebirth so I expect what they decide is gonna be amazing anyways.
I knew about the original superman and think that theory as far as your channel goes I would like some old Jim Lee Era X men and wolverine...the 90's Era Marvel was what got me started Dave
so reading the comments i now realize that this is a theory but i really wish that rob wouldn't put spoilers in the thumbnails of the videos. I'm behind on the dc rebirth stuff since i haven't bought a lot of them yet and id like for them not to be ruined when i get to the big moments (like batman proposing or joker being a good guy now)
Good theory! That version of "Superman" would pre-date the multiverse and could, therefor remain immune to the various changes/collapses/rebirths of the DC multiverse, essentially giving him a cosmic awareness on par with Dr Manhattan.
Rob ... I had no clue that there was a " Superman " before Kal El ... U should do a video on him and his mythology ... In comics and his creation history ...
It makes sense that it might be the original Superman concept. Because as both Pandora and pre-Flashpoint Wally said, someone has been manipulating time way before even Flashpoint. So for all intended purposes the entire Modern Age might be a fabrication of Manhattan. Or better yet. Manhattan is the tool, but not really the one thinking this things. Like Manhattan once said "We're all puppets. I'm just a puppet that can see the strings".
My top 3 picks for Mr. Oz: 1) Superboy Prime: I mean he has been the most powerful villain in DC. He freakin' punched the reality and brought Jason Todd back to life 2) Jonathon Kent: During the rebirth story line they said Jon has powers than even supersede superman; I wouldn't be surprised if he is future version of Jon; so he knows the past and found a way to get out of time swapping by Dr. Manhattan 3) Grown up Shazam: Wisdom of Solomon - he is a future version of Shazam and wise enough to know what happened
I thought super girl was stronger because her ship was set off course after leaving kryton and gets caught in the gravitational pull of sun. Which allow her to absorb more of the sun than super man. Then later her ship gets back on course and allows her to get back to earth.
So is Pre-Crisis, Pre-New 52, and Rebirth all part of the same continuity? Also, is this current Superman a combo of New 52 Supes and Pre-New 52? The Reborn event still has me a little confused. Btw, Rob you should cover some more Detective Comics and Aquaman as well!
Rob, I love your site but I wish you put in the Collection the of comics that the corresponding goes to. In the description like this, for instance, I know it's action comics but I don't want hours searching around the #'s that go to this story
It is an interesting idea. For the longest time most people have been assuming that "Oz" was short for Ozymandias (Watchmen) but that raised as many, if not more, questions as the original Superman idea does. First is how (and perhaps why) would Adrian get the powers Mz OZ demonstrates? Second, why would Adrian care about an Earth other then his own? Third, how did Adrian gain so much knowledge of New and Prime Earth? Comics on his earth became more akin to EC "Stories from the Crypt" then what happened on our Earth.
I've heard on the original Supes & read the story (online). However I never heard of this theory. I like it better than Oz being Jor-El who was rescued by Dr Manhattan right before Krypton explodes.
Hey Rob if you read this I have theorized that Mr. Oz is 1 of 2 people specificaly based on his dialogue his relationship to Clark and intellectual knowledge of the current universe 1st theory is that he his a extremly intelligent Jonathan Kent but that might not explain how who and what he knows to and not to do in order to augment the universe and not only save tim but kidnapping in fear of discovry 2nd theory, get ready for this, he's Bruce Wayne, yes Batman, possibly from the future and that would explain his actions and methods. I mean there are 3 Jokers right?
Im aware that this is a DC video an all but i came up with a theory for the marvel universe. As we all know Stan Lee cameos in all marvel movies made by Disney. And in a video from a few years ago you were taking about the one above all and how he was depicted as a writer for the fantastic four. Essentially i think Stan Lee is the one above all which explains why he shows up all the time, more or less aware of the audience. Also he is never the same "character" twice. This is just a fun theory i cooked up an thought to let you in on the idea. Keep making great vids man.
BRO THAT WOULD BE CRAZY. BILL DUNN AS MR. OZ. This story turned out to be more important than I thought. And lets call the Superman Family the Superman Squad.
I think that's a really good theory. But it would take some extra explaining to do to have mr. Oz be the original version of Superman. If you want to think about it it could be that version of Superman existed in the Watchmen universe
I'm startin' to think Mr. Oz is Professor Marvel aka Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkle Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs. I just realized the 1st letters in each of his names spells Oz Pinhead. Anyone willing to actually look that up will realize I'm joking, so chill out. I think it's Ozymandias of The Watchmen.
The explaination I hear most often about supergirl's power is that because she was slinging shotting around the sun for 30 or so years, her solar energy reserves are far higher than superman's. Yet she has had very little time to learn her powers so she is rather unskilled.
For those who can't look in the description, here's the link: www.reddit.com/r/DCcomics/comments/6ps7kp/spoilers_i_think_ive_figured_out_who_mr_oz_is/
wait sooo superman can shoot beams out of his fingers tips too?
ComicsExplained can you please do unstoppable colossus vs world war hulk
ComicsExplained So when are you doing to do a video that's dedicated to Martian Manhunter?
Mr oz is Jor El
ComicsExplained Another popular theory is that Mr. Oz is Jor-El or Post-Crisis Lex.
Mr.Oz is bald? this can only mean one thing...
He's Saitama
No he's mr clean
It's Krilin from Dragonball Z
Or a fusion of all three
Symon Sybico or krillin
Symon Sybico I love it 😂😂😂
10:57 "Bald. Tan skin tone. Wants to clean the timeline." It's obviously Mr. Clean.
Dude I LOVE your stuff. So much nicer hearing this stuff with pics than reading it online
Someone may have already stated this, but... What I think makes this an interesting option is that right now in DC, they are making it seem like it's Mr. Oz vs. Dr. Manhattan. You both might mean multiverse, not universe. The Marvel Multiverse crossed over with DC's once, remember?
That theory makes a lot of sense but it would be a masive twist if mr Oz is an adult Jon. Think about it, we have no idea what else he could be capable of all we know is he has the same Powers as Superman and thats it. Also it would make sense why he knows what to do in Supermans mech and the writers would want his identity to be a massive surprise. One that blows everyone's mind out of the water!
He doesn't have supes powers. He just has telepathy
I like New 52 Kon.
Also, Jonathan didn't have telekinesis, that was a trait expressed by his clone.
actually, the phantom zone has been established as "resetting" beings back to their original dna template.
Hey Rob, could you cover World war 3? Where Black Adam goes solo agaisnt the Jla, Jsa and etc its AMAZING!!!!
**spoilers maybe?**
Guys look at the cover for action comics 988 please. Oz??
Isaac Moreno
nailed it! good job sir
This story is so awesome and badass
Incredibly well done. When I started reading comics they were twenty-five to thirty-five cents & my Dad paid for them.So I never missed anything from my top twenty. Fast-forward to today, I can only read my top five due to insane prices ,kids ,grandkids ,& marriage. So it's nice to be able to catch up with some stories that have slipped threw cracks.
Your always insightful, well spoken & have great taste. So thanks for keeping me up to speed. Keep'em coming & I'll keep watching.
Superboy prime. Without a doubt, he's superboy prime.
Dunn.
Nah superboy prime hates main superman he'd never help him.
How would you feel what you say is not true he is someone else you never expect him to be
jesus lasso that's crazy cuz I was thinking it was superboy! kon-el/Connor Kent! I don't remember what happened to him in the new 52 during the teen titans run but it could be Alexander Luther too
pre 52 Jon kent.
Hm... I still bet my savings on Jonathan Kent being Mr. Oz.
If he isn't how would you feel if proven wrong
Depends on who it turns out to be and how they explain the whole shabang.
Or Jor-El
I was thinking the same thing!
That... actually makes a lot of sense...
I don't think it's him because DC could face more legal from the Shuster and Siegel family for a character that was not published by DC
Will they ever give up? Money grubbers ugh.
Would you give up something worth billions that you feel belongs to your family?
ShamanFryd Yes. Because god damn they are trying to take an american icon. They'll just keep the character rapped around their finger not even release a comic with him. You don't see Jack Kirby's family trying to get his characters. They understand how much of an icon his characters are.
Ann Lee they can't DC took it from them years ago all they got out of it was there name on the 70s Superman movie and $20,000
The copyright laws right now are really dumb.
thank you so much for dropping "begs the question" for at least this video!!
Mr. Oz is Jor-El.
New 52 or pre new 52?
Nah. Jor El is Oz's prisoner
Anonymous User Pre
NcurableKollector I'm with you on this pick

Mind = blown
This isn't about flash. Its about superman.
Your theory won't come true due to barry allen gaining so much popularity and getting his own movie.
Face it boy. Barry Allen is the modern day flash.
Zac Steinberg They won't kill him off so easily. Hes The flash, and is gonna be so for a long while.
I kinda like this theory not a Wally West fan but this makes sense to me.
While it would be cool, I doubt it will happen because of the DCEU and the CW Flash both star Barry Allen
Wow I love this theory. I had no idea there was a Superman prior to Action Comics and Clark Kent, this would add so many layers of depth to the whole DC universe.
I wanna see The Real "Supersons" fight!!!😃
They kind of did but it did not amount to much. Basically boiled down to "My dad can beat your dad" kind of talk lol.
At first I was thinking this will be a cheap way out of revealing Mr Oz but after you broke it down it sounds pretty genius for it to be the original or "Brain Child" Superman. Although I still hope that its Ozymandias

Well, he IS weaker now.
Louis Riehm He was never a god, he even said so. He is a man with nearly limitless power striving to do the right thing
He rarelly need then, it was clear that he could have defeat then if it wasn't for him going blind.
Such a good theory. Good job rob and the Reddit user.

GREAT job explaining things in a way that even I can follow along, not really being much if a SuperMan fan. I'm all about some Green Lantern, though!
Get, I knew about this guy!
Christopher was such a great character, I miss the old version.

Anonymous User He'll be back
Anonymous User lol they killed him what, 3 times in rebirth so far? He's not going anywhere
I hope so, it's just this time he didn't have his powers when he died, but I'll give him a few months, maybe a year.
Considering how time travel and paradoxes are very mucha thing for the flash and thorne he'll be back, death is really just an end point i very much doubt that we've seen the last of reverse flash

Thanks! These videos are very helpful!
maybe oz is superboy/superman
prime
WingSensei
It is possible that superboy prime reales from the source wall and maiby got telepathy because of it but i realy dk

"KNEEL BEFORE ZOD"
I never get tired of him saying that.
Please don't be this..
Mr. Mxzyplk Why? Its a hella cool throw back
Thanks for another great video. Is there any chance you will do a Batman Knightfall video
Well, imagine my shock to realize that only Superman can save the day in the end. A full Mary Sue in the comic world.
He didn't save the day though. Zod his thot and his accident got away.
What's your problem with Superman saving his crew?
The Reincarnation037, it gets repetitive and boring
to be fair superman was the mary sue before it was common, cool or expected of a hero
without the stereotypical hero there would be no interesting antiheros like batman and constantine so when it's superman i'll give him a pass on that
Midknight0122 batman is also a Mary Sue he always wins but I agree with Constantine he is unique shit...
for some reason seeing lex at 5:55 made me happy, a little faith in humanity was restored
Bullshit supergirl is not stronger than superman nuff said superman is the strongest so don't give me so and so
Nicholas Leon

But she is not as expirience as superman.
So why are you so mad?
it hasn't been proven and if so where can you find it. she's been theorize to be stronger due to being in stasis absorbing solar energy and this is after crisis and older kryptonians have always been stronger than younger kryptonians. Cosmic Boy being Mr. Oz is where I'm putting my money, but O.G Superman is good fit
The simple fact that Superman says "You MIGHT be right." When told to ask for help just bolsters his coolness factor for me.
I knew about the original superman and think that theory as far as your channel goes I would like some old Jim Lee Era X men and wolverine...the 90's Era Marvel was what got me started
Dave
Could you cover darksied war? Haven't heard much from that guy in ages, and gotta love darksied!
Now idk about y'all but I prefer this format to comicstorian's
Good vid. Where can we get more info on that very first superman...maybe a vid ???
Great vid!
I would love to have seen Robs reaction when he was reading this theory. It's actually really cool and interesting
fun video
rob, please do more punisher maxx, deadpool could be fun too...
I like that theory. It fits with what they've been doing, with adding the watchmen and bringing back old concepts. It would definitely be good writing
so reading the comments i now realize that this is a theory but i really wish that rob wouldn't put spoilers in the thumbnails of the videos. I'm behind on the dc rebirth stuff since i haven't bought a lot of them yet and id like for them not to be ruined when i get to the big moments (like batman proposing or joker being a good guy now)
That theory is the best thing coming out of DC Rebirth
If "Oz" ends up being short for "Ozymandias" I think people are gonna be mad.
I like how they're working this, it fixes lots of questions they I had. But in the end I hope Jonathan doesn't get written out or something
As seen on Injustice. The phantom zone projector heals any wound as long as they're inside
Superman comics are kicking ass left and right
Great, great entertaining work
Good theory! That version of "Superman" would pre-date the multiverse and could, therefor remain immune to the various changes/collapses/rebirths of the DC multiverse, essentially giving him a cosmic awareness on par with Dr Manhattan.
When you know who the original superman is and you feel all smug :3
It's nice to know there's a plethora of possibilities whom Mr. Oz might be. Pre New 52 Lex Luthor, Superman, Ozymandias, Bill Dunn, etc.
Lallaa *drinks coffee*, looks at video and spits out coffee! HOLY HELL!!
Last Son was awesome, Richard Donner knows where it's at
It's gotta be Classic Lex Luthor or Ozymandias. Someone who thinks they are the hero but are actually the villain
My top 3 picks for Mr. Oz:
1) Superboy Prime: I mean he has been the most powerful villain in DC. He freakin' punched the reality and brought Jason Todd back to life
2) Jonathon Kent: During the rebirth story line they said Jon has powers than even supersede superman; I wouldn't be surprised if he is future version of Jon; so he knows the past and found a way to get out of time swapping by Dr. Manhattan
3) Grown up Shazam: Wisdom of Solomon - he is a future version of Shazam and wise enough to know what happened
If it really is The Super Man that has to be the maddest throwback thats ever been done.
I like this theory. It's insanely clever and makes the DC universe come full circle.
God the art in these comics are gorgeous!!!
THANKS FOR DROPPING THIS!!!! #ROBCORP
Oz is like a bald Phantom Stranger but with a specter cloak
It is an interesting idea. For the longest time most people have been assuming that "Oz" was short for Ozymandias (Watchmen) but that raised as many, if not more, questions as the original Superman idea does.
First is how (and perhaps why) would Adrian get the powers Mz OZ demonstrates?
Second, why would Adrian care about an Earth other then his own?
Third, how did Adrian gain so much knowledge of New and Prime Earth? Comics on his earth became more akin to EC "Stories from the Crypt" then what happened on our Earth.
Action comics is the best thing coming out of dc rebirth right now
I've heard on the original Supes & read the story (online). However I never heard of this theory. I like it better than Oz being Jor-El who was rescued by Dr Manhattan right before Krypton explodes.
That Matador made me chuckle.
Hey Rob if you read this I have theorized that Mr. Oz is 1 of 2 people specificaly based on his dialogue his relationship to Clark and intellectual knowledge of the current universe
1st theory is that he his a extremly intelligent Jonathan Kent but that might not explain how who and what he knows to and not to do in order to augment the universe and not only save tim but kidnapping in fear of discovry
2nd theory, get ready for this, he's Bruce Wayne, yes Batman, possibly from the future and that would explain his actions and methods.
I've seen a similiar theory but instead of being the One Above All, Stan was Uatu the Watcher
BRO THAT WOULD BE CRAZY. BILL DUNN AS MR. OZ. This story turned out to be more important than I thought. And lets call the Superman Family the Superman Squad.
oh wow, I never thought of that that would be so cool. and to tie him in would be amazing.
Cyborg SuperMan made for an AWESOME GreenLantern Character. He was a perfect leader for the ManHunters, IMO.
You know it's serious when there's an exclamation mark in the title
I think that's a really good theory. But it would take some extra explaining to do to have mr. Oz be the original version of Superman. If you want to think about it it could be that version of Superman existed in the Watchmen universe
Original superman also is who lex Luthor was actually based off of as well.
I was thinking that Lex Luthor was Mr Oz and I never even considered the original Superman. Now hearing the theory, I've got my money on him.
That theory is so cool that I now want it to be true! The idea of that super man being Mr.Oz please let it be true!!!
I knew once I read the title of this episode I was like you mean the original that's cool to see their bringing this up
