Maybe a soft introduction with his character might work? Maybe rework his character a bit where he isn't just a whiny character used to lay waste to the DC landscape, but is instead maybe introduced in a way that he can become a good guy. I just think it would be interesting since they're in the process of doing rebirth, what they could do with his character to make him a actually viably interesting character.
