Fun fact: This movie is the reason Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool. His Hannibal King was just like Deadpool so someone told him he could play a good Deadpool. He had no idea what Deadpool was, did some research and ever since wanted to play the role. And finally like 12 years later, he had the change.
He basically played him in the wolverine movie they just didn't give him his suite and took his mouth and gave him powers that weren't in his character.
@@bethanychatman9531 Deadpool has all those powers as far as i can remember...not sure why Ryan Reynolds chose not to use more of them...probably budget. He can in fact teleport among other things though. c:

Drake's armor was made at Sword and the Stone (who, at that time, had done the swords for the first two films) in Burbank, CA, by two dozen of the best armorsmiths in the LA-area over the course of a week...even the chainmail components took a three-person crew 10 hours to produce. The leather underlayer for the armor was done by Rebecca Sevrin, who also made Selene's coats for the Underworld series.
Some backstory on this film. The original story that Snipes liked was that BLADE gets captured and frozen. The Vampires capture BLADE and uses his blood and creates a serum so that they can walk in the daytime. So,the Vampires take over and humans are slaves and servants. The human resistance in the future find BLADE and rescue him and he joins them to fight the vampires. The director, with studio approval, changed the script and Snipes was pissed. Also,Snipes didn't want to costar with Reyonlds,Biel etc.
What’s sad is that’s a horrible ending. The one where Drake’s last gift to the continuation of his bloodline (Blade) was to take the fall for what he had done and free him. The body in the morgue should never have been Blade to begin with. But they wanted to do spin-offs and didn’t want Blade in them at all. 😱👎🏾👎🏾🙅🏾♂️

If you guys remember from the first movie. There was a quick glimpse of one of those body storage blood units in that underground vampire rave. We see one being wheeled by when that vampire chick ( Traci Lords ) is taking that unsuspecting moron to the rave at the beginning of the movie.
A little behind the scenes: For the shot where Jessica Biel shoots directly at the camera, they had a protective barrier with just the camera lens poking through. She was expected to hit the barrier just to one side, but due to her practicing so much for the role, she ended up nailing the lens and destroying the camera.
Trinity was the first Blade movie I watched, so dispite it's reputation it's always been my favourite It's also the reason I use to think the word for A Trilogy was A Trinity as a kid
I always thought that the Reapers were just one evolutionary step closer to Dracula hence their similar mouths. It’s interesting that Dracula wasn’t really the villain in this film. He was tired of the world and slept for thousands of years because he wanted to be left alone. The biggest hindrance of this film was studio interference. Originally this was supposed to be set in a post-apocalyptic world where the vampires won and had captured blade but the studio wanted a less serious script so David Goyer came up with a last-minute script he wasn’t really confident in. The directors of the first 2 films didn’t like the script so David who had no directorial experience had to direct it. Wesley and Kris had issues with the script and acted out on set. This probably resulted to Whistler getting killed off again.
Trinity was released just before post credit scenes became a regular thing, so the Werewolf scene was the movies original ending. Iirc, the writer/director, David S. Goyer and the producers cut the scene because they felt it was too goofy. After Trinity, they went on to make Blade: The Series, which I personally don't think was that bad. A little cheesy and made on a much lower budget, sure, but it expanded on some of the more interesting-but-underbaked plot points from Trinity, like the Bloodfarms, and aspects of vampire society from the earlier films. Sadly got cancelled after a single season, but still worth a watch, just don't go into it expecting a masterpiece.
Yeah, I know. Nobody recognized him. Even tho I’m not a wrestling fan, I know whoever is the most popular and that guy was it. Triple H was what everyone was tripping over and he brought it. He was excellent!
The comment about the John Wick directors doing blade is brilliant. The type of action would work so well. Since they were stunt men before. So they really understand choreography and shooting action.
You guys should check out some jet LI movies. Especially his 2001 film 'The One ' great martial arts combined with sci-fi traveling the multiverse. Some of the best fight scenes.
This is not the extended edition of this film that you watched. The extended edition has a longer version of the scene where they’re explaining Drake’s/Dracula’s origin story, and that version includes the key detail that in this universe, Dracula is possibly seven thousand years old.
This is my favorite out of the trilogies. I absolutely love this movie. Ryan Reynolds and Triple H are the main reasons why. Plus I enjoy all of Ryan's jokes, he's awesome!!
We know Blade II is the more popular and superior of the other 2 films but everyone is different and has their own preferences so to each their own I guess 😏
Always fun to see Patton Oswalt show up. I heard him doing a guest-spot on the Kingcast (Stephen King film adaptation podcast), and he was brilliant, insightful, and very witty. I'd love to attend any dinner or party where he's a guest.
@White Noise Reacts, did you two hapen notice Blacde borrowed Dominic Toretto's ride in this third installment of the franchise?. A rift between two universe had opened,Marve/ Fast& Furious ones ,Blade bobbed over& brought Dom's car through?.
Whilst I think this is the cheesiest of the three movies, I personally enjoy the cheese. Also Dominic Purcell’s Dracula is awesome, just the right mix of reserved conversion and animal savagery
Despite some not liking this movie, I found it pretty entertaining. It was the only other Blade movie I went to see, I passed on going to the 2nd one after seeing the trailers. This 3rd one having Jessica Biel (-Timberlake) and RR was a bit more of a draw. I could've done without a bit of the harder language but it is what it is. The guy who was Dracula, he used to be in a couple of Tv series around that time I think that the movie came out. His name escapes me at the moment. Anyways, it was fun watching your reactions to it. ☺
Considering that Blade is a marvel character I wouldn't be surprised if some of the references popped up.... oh yeah that's right Dracula is in marvel and has his own comic… Along with Frankenstein the thing, werewolf by night, the mummy, and I think their vehicle called the monster truck?
Its kinda hard to find, but you should check out the Blade live action tv series they did. It was actually fairly solid, even without Snipes playing Blade.
Did you know in story that Adam's first wife was Lilith and fled from the garden of Eden due to not wanting to be submissive of Adam. Said to be the mother of demons and also mother of the vampires.
please do underworld that would be another greta vampire werewolf movie and the part were blade yells and just gives up shows how much he cared for whistler he basically lost his adoptive father
You saw the people farm bags in the 1st Blade... they go past the guy invited to the rave in the slaughter House... where did you think the blood came from???
loved to see you guys watching blade, definitely a classic of the vampire genre, great as a stand alone Blade saga, can't wait to see what the MCU has in store for the new one (i hope to see Wesley Snipes as an alt version from some other universe now that the multiverse is a thing)
David S. Goyer(Writer of the first two films and "Batman Begins") directed. The production suffered many setbacks, Wesley Snipes was very irritable on set and disrespected Goyer and Reynolds on multiple occasions whilst filming, also the IRS sued Snipes for tax evasion which further intensified his bad mood,a Nightstalkers spin-off was planned with Ryan Reynolds(Hannibal King) and Jessica Biel(Abigail Whistler) reprising their roles but was cancelled due to poor box office and critical reception upon release plus New Line Pictures having financial problems at the time due to a lot of their recent releases failing to make bank,Dominic Purcell(Dracula/Dagon/Drake)shot whilst on hiatus from shooting the second season of "John Doe" and the hot sets made all the actors sweaty, exhausted and agitated.
Wesley snipes in this role is iconic but not only did he have many issues with the directors, he's litteraly in his 60s. He can't possibly play an unaging half vampire, even with deaging CGI, he can't do all those stunts anymore
David S. Goyer wrote all 3 films with Trinity being his 2nd film as director. Blade was among many Marvel characters who fought against Dracula in The Tomb of Dracula comics. So without question, Drac would be the main villain in this installment. The original vision was post-apocalyptic with Dracula's return to power. The plan changed to keep it modern and add other characters (Nightstalkers) from those comics. I liked how Dracula/Drake was depleased with how vampires were more loved than feared like they weren't a threat at all. The extended cut is a bit better than the theatrical version plus 2 alternate endings that were interesting. There was controversy with this one behind the scenes in terms of on-set fights, contractual and legal battles. Ryan Reynolds as Hannibal King was obviously prepping to become Deadpool (unknowingly). In 2006, Blade got his own original series and the first-ever mature, Marvel series. It ran 1 season for 13 episodes and was set after the events of Blade Trinity. Even if part 3 was considered the worse, David S. Goyer bounced back with creating the screenstory for The Dark Knight Trilogy and co-writing Batman Begins with Christopher Nolan.
Dracula- King of the vampires, patriarch of hominus nocturna, the latest, strongest, and most powerful adversary Blade has ever faced in this entire trilogy!!!!
Parker Posey, Ryan Reynolds… it’s just a fun movie to me. The weakest of them but I still really enjoy it. My favorite thing to do is after watching Blade immediately watching To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar to compare Snipes in Blade to his character in that. Vastly different
Kind of amusing that some of these actors appeared in other superhero roles. Ryan Reynolds plays himself all the time. Dracula went on to become Heat Wave. But Jessica Biel apparently turned down superhero roles.
Dominic Purcell (Dracula) was real popular at the time because of the hit tv show Prison Break. I remember ppl being hyped that he was going to be in this.
I agree, any one other than Wesley as Blade just won't cut it. A lot of super hero's in the MCU could be replaced, some just couldn't like RDJ, Chris H, and Scarlet, but Wesley IS Blade period.
The Blade series is so good there was bound to be a weak link. There’s always one in every trilogy. Case in point, Return of the Jedi, but that don’t mean it’s not awesome. The only way to go after Blade 2 was downhill, being that it was SOOOOOO badass. I love this movie!!!! The Dracula bit was cool, especially how they presented him. Good reaction bros. 😎
Fun watch. Ryan Reynolds plays himself (as always), Jessica Biel (aka Mrs. Justin Timberlake) adds hotness, and Wesley Snipes kicks ass. As Stan Lee would have said, " 'Nuff said..."
I personally believe that Drake (Dracula/Dagon/Draku) went to sleep because he grew tired of the world that sprang up around him, he probably couldn't understand the way it was changing and when faced with what became of his children (The new vampires) he was disgusted. So he went to sleep likely hoping to wait it all out or maybe even die, but he couldn't.
This movie had a lot of production problems as Wesley Snipes did not like working with David S Goyer, nor will he speak to him and would communicate with him through sticky notes. Patton Oswalt said in a podcast that Snipes was smoking pot in his trailer to get through this terrible movie. It was rumored that Snipes even called Ryan Reynolds the "F" word, which is just about the worst thing he ever did! Snipes even wanted to strangle the director after he was seen wearing a shirt that read "Garbage" in stylish writing. And Snipes said to him, "Garbage!?" You racist motherf**ker! I'll kill you!"
Who else thinks everyone was JACKED in this movie??!!

Wow that's awesome they changed the ending 😮 I remember the original one cool 😎
The alternate ending
They cgi'd blade's eyes
Blade 2 was mentioned in the Deadpool film.
Check out Darkman, stars liam Neeson, directed by Sam rami before Spiderman.
Wow, I didn't know that. Smh if ain't broke don't fix it.
Yeah Damaskinos for sure made some progress towards a more evolutionary perfected vampire in blade 2
The first two films were directed by different people.
Blade (1998) - Stephen Norrington
Blade 2 (2002) - Guillermo del Toro
?
@@3twelve206 I never said that the 2 films were directed by the same director, hence “directors”
mcu blade will be much worse
This is a general question. Was there an after credit or deleted scene where King and Abie fight a werewolf? It always made me smile.
That was a pretty specific question lol
In all seriousness I may need to dust off the DVD and see... I vaguely remember something like this.
@@commsense1979 Same. I have no idea how I saw this scene and it’s been years since I’ve watched the DVD. Sometimes I think it was a fever dream, lol.
You guys need to react to Demolition Man.
Wesley Snipes also killed it in that movie.
I'm always so sad when no one recognizes the wrestlers in these movies
Yeah, I know. Nobody recognized him. Even tho I’m not a wrestling fan, I know whoever is the most popular and that guy was it. Triple H was what everyone was tripping over and he brought it. He was excellent!
I know right, Triple H dam
Other Wesley Snipes movies worth checking out, Passenger 57 and Drop Zone, both are underrated but great
Constantine is a good one, yes ... and, as already mentioned, the Underworld series
Blade Trinity is so badass. Dope reaction guys.
Is that why Wesley Snipes hated making the movie
The comment about the John Wick directors doing blade is brilliant. The type of action would work so well.
Since they were stunt men before. So they really understand choreography and shooting action.
you should watch doom,route 666,john carpenter's vampires,silent hill,freddy vs jason,halloween resurrection and the fog
I ❤️ The Blade Movies(I read the comics when I was a teenager , I'm a adult now!)🥰😋👊
Please watch Underworld series, I love them all honestly some of the best vampire vs werewolf you'll ever watch honestly.
Great reaction!
You guys would love Wesley Snipes in Drop Zone.. EXCELLENT funny 90s action movie worth bad guy Gary Busey!
Ma favourite blade movie
Wesley Snipes is Blade.
You guys should definitely check out the underworld movies if you've haven't seen them yet.
U guys should watch the Jaws series 4 movies of classic goodness
This is my favorite out of the trilogies. I absolutely love this movie. Ryan Reynolds and Triple H are the main reasons why. Plus I enjoy all of Ryan's jokes, he's awesome!!
Yikes
@@commsense1979 LoL 😆
We know Blade II is the more popular and superior of the other 2 films but everyone is different and has their own preferences so to each their own I guess 😏
@@calvinwilliamsjr.6612 Yep yep... That's why I merely pointed out my disagreement. Marilyn's gotta like what Marilyn likes!
Always fun to see Patton Oswalt show up. I heard him doing a guest-spot on the Kingcast (Stephen King film adaptation podcast), and he was brilliant, insightful, and very witty. I'd love to attend any dinner or party where he's a guest.
What’s this podcast about?
John Wick Director should Direct a Punisher movie.
Whistler reminds me of Roy from R.I.P.D. tbh (another Ryan Reynolds film lol) - I'd love to see them react to that film on the channel someday
"Scream if this hurts, CHICA!!!!"
- Abigail 'Abby' Whistler 🏹
There is an end credits scene available with Cain and Whistler in Vegas. Find it, it's funny and cool!
You guy's gotta look up the story of what Patton Oswalt said of what happened on set.
I just like Dominic Purcell in general. John Doe was an amazing show that sadly got cancelled before it could really take off.
@CYB3R2K30 I think when compared to other draculas from other sagas he doesn’t stand up well but as a stand-alone villain I think he’s cool.
@CYB3R2K30 You don't get to call anything lame with that name and avatar.
You guys should definitely check out the movie The Outsiders or Basketball Diaries 👍
Hannibal king is played by Rayan Reynolds whoes also Deadpool
"Motherf*cker, I like that" is still the coldest line in this whole movie 🔥
You should check out the Underworld movies!
I had to look him up because I remembered his popularity and the name of the show, but not his name. It was Prison Break. His name is Dominic Purcell.
hes literally just deadpool like 10 years before he plays deadpool
Phenomenal my brothas!👍🏾👍🏾🌝
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😁
Considering that Blade is a marvel character I wouldn't be surprised if some of the references popped up.... oh yeah that's right Dracula is in marvel and has his own comic… Along with Frankenstein the thing, werewolf by night, the mummy, and I think their vehicle called the monster truck?
Please do Constantine! Peter Stormare is amazing as Satan!
Its kinda hard to find, but you should check out the Blade live action tv series they did. It was actually fairly solid, even without Snipes playing Blade.
Vampires are known in that world, but humanity basically made a pact saying “we’ll let you exist and feed, but if you try to take over, you’re done.”
Constantine is low key great!
THE 2 ONE WAS THE BEST
The 1 and the 3 tied
Did you know in story that Adam's first wife was Lilith and fled from the garden of Eden due to not wanting to be submissive of Adam. Said to be the mother of demons and also mother of the vampires.
Dead pool : I can’t shoot around corners
Dead Pool : 😉
White noise reactin & everyone If you don't know but the remake starts filming in September
My thought exactly. That pianist guy from Green book as Blade instead of Wesley? eh...
please do underworld that would be another greta vampire werewolf movie and the part were blade yells and just gives up shows how much he cared for whistler he basically lost his adoptive father
If you are still into superhero movies, checkout Cronicle 2012 with Michael b Jordan. I think you will like the way its filmed.
You saw the people farm bags in the 1st Blade... they go past the guy invited to the rave in the slaughter House... where did you think the blood came from???
loved to see you guys watching blade, definitely a classic of the vampire genre, great as a stand alone Blade saga, can't wait to see what the MCU has in store for the new one (i hope to see Wesley Snipes as an alt version from some other universe now that the multiverse is a thing)
no no dude...strange cause a incursion we don need another okay let blade of the blade universe alone maybe he die in some point
There was an alternative end
With werewolves
I love how basically Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool here, with much less witty repartee.
The Blade TV series was surprisingly entertaining, you guys might enjoy it.
It was so much better than this movie.
Ryan Reynolds was his first marvel movie before origins wolverine and Deadpool movies.
PLEASE WATCH VAN HELSING 2004. THAT'S THE SICKEST VAMPIRE FILM EVER!!!!
Canon!!! 🦾😎😭👊🏻
@@MrBreezeLI516 YESSIR!!!!! 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾
Fun watch. Ryan Reynolds plays himself (as always), Jessica Biel (aka Mrs. Justin Timberlake) adds hotness, and Wesley Snipes kicks ass. As Stan Lee would have said, " 'Nuff said..."
Jarko Grimwood was portrayed by
Triple H, one of the members of Degeneration X in the WWE!!!!
Plz react to dawn of the dead 1978 it’s an epic classic yall will love it
I personally believe that Drake (Dracula/Dagon/Draku) went to sleep because he grew tired of the world that sprang up around him, he probably couldn't understand the way it was changing and when faced with what became of his children (The new vampires) he was disgusted.
So he went to sleep likely hoping to wait it all out or maybe even die, but he couldn't.
Lowkey feel bad for Ninetailedbrush, I feel like James always talks over him.
We are just enjoying ourselves…
This movie had a lot of production problems as Wesley Snipes did not like working with David S Goyer, nor will he speak to him and would communicate with him through sticky notes.
Patton Oswalt said in a podcast that Snipes was smoking pot in his trailer to get through this terrible movie.
It was rumored that
Snipes even called Ryan Reynolds the "F" word, which is just about the worst thing he ever did!
Snipes even wanted to strangle the director after he was seen wearing a shirt that read "Garbage" in stylish writing. And Snipes said to him, "Garbage!?" You racist motherf**ker! I'll kill you!"
