Yes!!! BLADE has been my all-time favorite Marvel hero ever since I saw him in the Spider-Man animated TV show when I was a kid. Plus it's cool to have the same first name as him 😁
This was the very first R Rated Marvel movie my family and I watched on DVD for the first time! Denzel Washington, LL Cool J, Michael Jai White and Laurence Fishburne were considered for the role of the title character until Snipes was cast when the live action Black Panther movie was cancelled.

Oh Laurenn, I hope you like this. This movie is amazing. Snipes is perfection. And this, is the true beginning of the MCU. Without this, the whole 'comic book' movie trend would never have happened. Brilliance.
Love Blade and 100% I can see why the mainstream audience would have no idea going in that Blade was a Marvel film. I love the MCU but if you're someone who has only seen the films post Iron Man then you'd associate Marvel with the MCU along with it's unique tone and overall vibe. So going into a mature film like Blade with The Invisibles (DC comic by Grant Morrison) inspired visual design of an alt underground sub culture you'd be surprised to find out that it's Marvel. Also on the topic of The Invisibles it also inspired The Matrix visually and in story elements so both films share a common connection by this amazing comic series. The Matrix made this sub culture Mainstream but it excited for years before these films. I love the MCU but I do think it needs to break from it's formula as that's the reason why alot of people get fatigued. But i'm pretty sure I first met him in The Ultimate Alliance games where you had a massive roster of Marvel heros. Always cool to fight as Blade alongside characters like Daredevil, Spider-Man, Iron Man etc.
Edit: Also I'm pretty sure Blade showed up in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon hunting Dr. Michael Morbius so I could've met him there first as well. Punisher also showed up in the show and funny enough first appeared in a Spider-Man comic. So it's fun seeing mature comics and movies around these two characters who have interacted with more PG hero's like Spider-Man.
@@CaptainAmerciaPunisher also has an 80s Marvel film too, played by Dolph Lundgren. If I recall correctly, it was Marvel's second film, after Howard the Duck.
The Daywalker is here. Welcome to the vampire rave. The first superhero landing. Complete freight train badass. Lauren, absolutely loved your reaction to this movie. It was a complete joy to watch with you. Thank you for all that you do. Peace and love❤️✌️
Easily the most badass superhero movie and it's not even close. And yes Matrix pulled heavily from this. Vibe, outfits, the "bullet time" slow down stuff.
Matrix would have already been in production by the time this came out.. the vibe was the 90's... hell I remember seeing people dressed like this in Camden Market years before
@@bronzewand I cant imagine the creatives didnt talk to each other. Not that Matrix ripped them off directly but there are way too many similarities to be coincidence. The technology use makes sense to overlap.
This is quite literally the first of modern Marvel movies. Before this they just had TV-level movies (even if the Hulk had Lou Ferrigno), but then came the big three of Blade, X-Men and Spider-Man.
"Blade" its such great time of movie, man. I wish we have more of those great, well directed well acted action movies like back then. We are our John Wick and Mission Impossible occasionally here and there, but these kind of movies are too few and far between nowadays. Great video, Laurenn girl! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Glad you liked this one. Blade is awesome, Blade 2 is great and Blade 3 is...meh. Some other Snipes movies to check out: Major League, New Jack City, Passenger 57, Rising Sun, U.S. Marshals (but watch The Fugitive first) and To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar,.
I'm part of a small minority that love Blade 3. That movie really sets up the actual story from the comic books. People unfairly rip on #3 but it's good. Myself, I like it better than #2...
This was released a year before The Matrix so it's cool when ppl compare them. Blade actually makes the trenchcoat work better for his character wheras the matrix just kinda had a gothic look in a film about computers and machines. They should've gone a little more steampunkish, cyberpunkish or akira looking in appearance but honestly these are all great films.
A lot of people think the strange hue throughout Blade is due to a filter; it is in fact due to how the 35mm film was processed. Blade used what is called Bleach Bypss (also known as skip bleach or silver retention). It is a chemical effect which entails either the partial or complete skipping of the bleaching function during the processing of a color film. By doing this, the silver is retained in the emulsion along with the color dyes. The result is a black-and-white image over a color image. The images usually have reduced saturation and exposure latitude, along with increased contrast and graininess. This process was used in the 1956 adaptation of Moby Dick. However more recently cinematographer Roger Deakins used it during the production of ‘1984’; & most notably Janusz Kaminski used it in Saving Private Ryan & Minority Report. Oh & regarding the bodies at the start; there’s a cut scene that shows more of the bodies in bags.
@@21stcenturyhiphopthat is correct. Sadly, it’s something of a dying process; with a lot of modern films shooting on a digital format, current technology allows it to be done digitally in post production.
I was a 11yo black boy when this came out. Now imagine how excited I was when I finished the movie. I became a Blade fan since than and I still got chills whatching it till this day. Great react. I love that you loved the movie. You got a new subscriber.
Definitely go for Blade 2. Is directed by Guillermo del Toro and shows his early drafts for what would end up being "his" vampires in The Strain (both books and series). BTW, the one liner about "ice skating uphill" was Wesley Snipe's idea, it wasn't in the original screenplay.
I thought it was the director. He heard Snipes say it during a break while Snipes was on a call, loved the phrase, and wanted to use it in the movie. Which is why it doesn't really make sense given the situation.
I saw this movie when originally opened, and it was one of the most enjoyable theatre experiences ever. Beforehand, I thought I was just going to see some silly action/vampire movie. It made great Marvel adaptations finally possible, and paved the way for the MCU. I just hope the MCU remake is as good.
This movie saved Marvel. Marvel had filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy, and the rights were sold to help earn money. Once this came out, it showed all the other movie studios that comic book movies can be successful and has an audience if done right. From there, studios flocked to Marvel and bought up as many rights as they could.
Glad you’re finally getting to see Wesley Snipes as Blade! You have such an awesome personality. Whether it’s your reactions or livestreams, I’m always in a good mood when I’m watching your content
YES!YES! FINALLY! This easily on of the most badass comic movies ever. I was so stoked when this came out. I knew about Blade because Ghost Rider was my favorite comic character when I was a kid (early 90s Ghost Rider, not Johnny Blaze). Blade was part of the Nightstalkers along with Hannibal King and Drake but those 3, Morbius, Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, and some others were part of the Midnights Sons. They would routinely crossover into Spiderman and his villains. Also, Marvel put out some special edition comics with Wolverine, Punisher, and Ghost Rider teaming up. Later Blade got his own series. I still have Blade Issue #1. Great reaction Lauren.
I like to think that Blade, Spider-Man, Hulk, Daredevil, Punisher, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Ghost Rider all take place in the same universe made up of all the late 1990s and early 2000s Marvel films. I know Marvel did try to connect these with little Easter eggs and cameos like Wolverine planned to show up in Spider-Man 2 I believe but because of shooting schedule, rights divided across studios it made it really difficult for these to cross over and it never happened. But that's my head canon anyways. While Blade is doing his thing in this film the X-Men are out there, few years later Peter Parker is bitten and becomes Spider-Man, Bruce Banner becomes the Hulk, Daredevil is just coming around to his abilities, Frank Castle becomes the Punisher, The Fantastic Four are formed, and Ghostrider is born. A world with Vampire and Mutants sounds insane but that's comics for you.
They could have if only marvel knew wtf to do back then. Blade , daredevil and Spider-Man should’ve been ran across each other. And the fantastic four. They missed out on big hits. A meet up of blade, Spider-Man and daredevil would’ve been epic.
Your followers suggest such cool flicks. It’s always cool seeing someone view a movie you liked for the first time. “30 Days of Night “with Josh Hartnett I think I’d an underrated horror. “Ravenous “is a great horror one too.
When my parents finally mov d us from an apt to renting a home, I got a TV/VHS combo player. I used my allowance to buy 2 VHS tapes from MOOVIES (blockbuster video competition) the Matrix, and Blade. I watched one of them every night for months til the tapes wore out, and I became old enough to actually get a job bagging groceries and saved up to buy new ones.
I've been so looking forward to seeing you get to this movie as I knew you would love it and once again your reaction was awesome and most entertaining. Wesley Snipes was perfect casting for this role and the tone of this movie and the world that was created for Blade to operate in was pitch perfect. For me the next Wesley Snipes movie or movies you should check out are Blade 2 & 3 and also Passenger 57.
As a teenager in the nineties, it was my favourite era for films & music. Right at the end of that decade were my two favourite films of all time, The Matrix & Blade. It's really cool to see a younger person enjoy these classics. There are so many excellent scenes in this film that it's impossible to choose one above all others. If I'm asked the best line in any film, I'm always going to pick "Some mthrfkrs are always trying to iceskate uphill." For 25 years I've wondered if Blade was referring to Deacon Frost's arrogance that he believed he could become a god, or his arrogance in thinking that he'd somehow be able to beat Blade, but whatever it meant, it's the most badass line I've ever heard. Oh and completely UNPOPULAR OPINION... I think the sequels, Matrix Reloaded & Blade 2 are even more intense than the first films. You asked about other Wesley Snipes films, having already seen the wicked Demolition Man. I'd suggest Blade 2 (Blade 3, I don't know), Passenger 57, Murder at 1600, Boiling Point, Money Train, Rising Sun, The Art of War and US Marshalls. I'm sure there are a ton more, but those are the ones I can remember. Thanks for another cool video...!
I rented this from block buster about a million years ago and it came with 'extra content' which went over the wardrobe and everything and I think you'd enjoy that. This was so well done, it has a vibe just fascinates me. I'm glad you liked it. #2 is quite good and #3 is not so much about Blade as it is the others. #3 has Parker Posey and she is a bad ass vampire with a major tude. I loved her.
Not the first marvel film .. but probably the first one with a "real" budget that was taken as seriously as a AAA hollywood film. Still the BEST .. imho
If you're up for an animated vampire movie, I'd highly highly recommend Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust! Your jaw will be on the floor with how beautiful it looks!
my favorite line from this movie, that I am proud to say I have had a few occasions to use in public with friends 14:33 "catch you F*ckers at a bad time?"
I love the Blade trilogy. Yeah it really knocked things up several gears for Marvel movies, as right before this came out we'd just had Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD & Generation X as TV movies (I still have these 2 on VHS taped off the TV lol) and that was as exciting as it got till Blade hit and set the bar way higher. I think the first Wesley Snipes film I bought on VHS was Passenger 57 when it came out so I'll recommend that one. Thanks for a great reaction, keep up the good work.
*_Blade was not the first Marvel movie: I think technically Howard the Duck (1986) is considered the first Marvel theatrical release (There were some Hulk and Captain America "Made for TV movies/straight to VHS movies prior to that, so they don't count). But Blade and the Blade Trilogy would have been the first Marvel classic Superhero movie in the first wave of Marvel movies before Marvel studios was formed and the MCU started (in 2008). That first wave of movies also included : Daredevil (2003), Fantastic Four (2005), and later it's sequel, and Ghost Rider (2007) and it's sequel as well. (That of course is excluding the Fox/Marvel properties that released the Sam Raimi Trilogy of Spider-Man and the X-Men movies after the success of Blade)_*
Wow Lauren. Another amazing reaction. I am so happy you liked this movie. The Crow and Blade were the two movies that I knew you'd like.Your reaction video was phenomenal as always and thank you for giving this masterpiece the justice it deserves. You're the best!🥰👍🏾
Every time I see this movie I mean to go look for a GIF of Frost dodging the bullets in the park. And I always forget. I need to have a "Bullet Dodged" GIF handy.
Besides the Blade trilogy, other vampire action movies to watch include the five Underworld films, Bram Stoker's Dracula, 30 Days of Night and, Van Helsing, Dracula Untold, From Dusk til Dawn and John Carpenter's Vampires. Blade was originally British and a human who was immune to vampire bites. A vampire TV series worth watching is True Blood
Kris Kristofferson is an amazing musician and a member of the Highway Men along with Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He actually wrote songs for Janis Joplin too
I'm so glad that you enjoyed this, Laurenn, I thought that you would. The sequel 'Blade 2' is excellent too, 'Blade Trinity' the third film isn't as good as the first two, but still very enjoyable. For other Vampire based films you really should react to the 'Underworld' series the first three of which are the best, the last two are still okay, I know that you'll enjoy them as you have enjoyed this so much. 🙂 For Wesley Snipes films, I recommend 'Rising Sun' also starring Sean Connery from 1993 and 'Passenger 57' from 1992 it also stars an old friend of mine, Bruce Payne.
If you're looking for another REALLY cool vampire movie I'd highly recommend 30 Days Of Night. The vampires are like landsharks and just straight up savage people, plus the story is pretty damn good.
Can't believe that i was 21 when this classic was released 🤯🤯 excellent stuff and Snipes was perfect for the role the Blood Rave scene from the start is one of the best comic introductions ever made, glad you enjoyed it Laurenn i am sure if you have not seen the other two will enjoy those a lot as well👌
One of the great things about Blade (Besides Wesley's outstanding performance) is the fact that it didn't get bogged down by a forced love story. It mostly focused on action and plot. While the third movie is the weakest in my opinion I would definitely recommend you watch the trilogy.
For anyone who grew up watching the 90's Spider-Man Animated Series this was one of the best superhero movies ever. Honestly, I think if it wasn't for that show we would've never gotten this movie.
A good Wesley Snipes movie that I like is “U.S. Marshals”. It has Wesley Snipes, Tommy Lee Jones, and Robert Downey Jr. but it is a sequel to “the Fugitive”. and that has Tommy Lee Jones, and Harrison Ford in it, so you might want to check that one out first.
Always wondered how the sequel would've been if they stuck with the original ending with Blade and Karen coming out of the temple and seeing Morbius off in the distance
Even 25 years later, this movie still holds up well. The ONLY FX that kinda takes me out a bit is when Frost's hand regrows, the visual effects on that aren't great but they're still better than The Mummy Returns lol. The blood rave is epic (side note, the human at the Blood Rave went on to play Lemonhead in The Shield, and the vampire with him is Traci Lords from Cry Baby among other movies) and the way Blade just kinda appears there, spotlessly clean and everything is insanely cool. The stunt/fight team is fantastic, Kris Kristofferson is badass, EVERYONE was so well cast. It's a tough call to make, but I think Blade II might be just a little bit better, but mainly because they've already established Blade so they can just jump back into his world, and they got another stellar cast for that one, including the guy who lost his hand to Blade's "pig sticker" playing a different character lol
some great vampire films for you i recommend , fright night , lost boys , near dark , bram stolkers dracula, interview with a vampire , 30 days and night , underworld and dracula untold
Snipes is ALSO great in a comedy called Major League, a dramedy called Too Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, and if you like him as an action star, try Passenger 57 - where he plays a very Blade-esque cop in a "Die Hard on a plane" kind of thing, a thriller with Sean Connery called Rising Sun, and an underrated sequel to The Fugitive called U.S. Marshalls, with Tommy Lee Jones. He's also in some of The Expendables films, if memory serves, but his run of 90's films was pretty amazing.
@@Ylyrra He's not the first person to get screwed by the people who were supposed to have his back, but sometimes its not about winning the fight against injustice - its just about making the stand when the situation demands it. He's not the first minority to get targeted by jealous, arrogant authorities, either. Snipes is a bit weird in his personal life (imo), but I admire how he can be so zen about everything he's been through. Like many actors, he may not be all that bright (maybe he was a bit arrogant himself smokin' weed in Cali before it was legal), but it takes guts to put it all out there, and strength to endure the endless parade of cheap shots and second-guessing that come with just trying to make a living in the limelight in the first place. To quote a line from The Right Stuff (about the astronaught Gus Grissom), "Well, I'll tell you something, it takes a special kind of man to volunteer for a suicide mission, especially one that's on TV. Ol' Gus, he did all right."

Before Marvel Comics did Luke Cage Hero for Hire/ Powerman and before their was Blade Vampire slayer. In the Tomb of Dracula comics 1973. Their was SHAFT..John SHAFT. Check out the original SHAFT movie (1971).
FYI - secret "Raves" were common back then. Mostly the location was spread by word-of-mouth or direct invitation. Not everyone was let in and security was intense!
The MCU could have easily started with this movie. It could have been Blade, X--Men, Spider Man, Daredevil, The Hulk, The Punisher and Fantastic Four. Just imagine. Those characters could have and SHOULD have already been established by the time Iron Man came around in 2008.
Well done video. I agree with you, for a film in the late 90s, the effects were pretty well done. I thought them disintegrating from a shotgun blast made me laugh
A vampire flick you should check out is Near Dark (1987) that was was directed by the famous Kathryn Bigelow. Trust me, the film will certainly leave a impression on you if not because of the cast by the very least due to its uniqueness within the vampire genre.

@@gawainethefirst Pretty much every big Marvel character was in the game. Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four etc. One big crossover event game.
The Daywalker is here. Welcome to the vampire rave. The first superhero landing. Complete freight train badass. Lauren, absolutely loved your reaction to this movie. It was a complete joy to watch with you. Thank you for all that you do. Peace and love❤️✌️
i would have loved to have been at that rave, that remixed New Order track is awesome and has had a few classic other remixes over the years
Easily the most badass superhero movie and it's not even close. And yes Matrix pulled heavily from this. Vibe, outfits, the "bullet time" slow down stuff.
Matrix would have already been in production by the time this came out.. the vibe was the 90's... hell I remember seeing people dressed like this in Camden Market years before
Facts. That still haven’t outdone this movie.
@@bronzewandyeah this is 90’s/early 2000’s style to the max 😎
@@bronzewand I cant imagine the creatives didnt talk to each other. Not that Matrix ripped them off directly but there are way too many similarities to be coincidence.
The technology use makes sense to overlap.
But yeah, Blade and The Matrix were the grand finale for 90s rave and techno culture.

Love Blade. When Blade cuts Frost in half and comes back together Laurenn went " whoaaaaOOOOOOOOooooooo" was my fav part. 😅😊
😂😂I'm glad you enjoyed that Shane, thank you for watching
Me to Shane That's my favorite part of Lauren's reaction even when blade whistle Silent say what the fuck , lauren laughing😂
White Men Can't Jump and Money Train, both with Wesley and Woody Harrelson, are really good too.
The Art of War 2000
Such an amazing movie, Wesley played blade so well. Fantastic video laurenn. Stay phenomenal
Classic 90s action. Blade 2 is also worth a watch, the cast is pretty good and the premise a change of pace. Blade 3 I can take or leave.
I'm part of a small minority that love Blade 3. That movie really sets up the actual story from the comic books. People unfairly rip on #3 but it's good. Myself, I like it better than #2...
There is no taking blade 3 only LEAVE.
There is no Blade 3!
@@steved1135Blade Trinity is epic. The second film is my least favorite 💯😎
The trivia and interviews for Blade 3 are hilarious 🦇
The Pump Panel remix gets me everytime. I always play that song at work sometimes.
You take me back to my childhood with this movie reaction and I can’t thank you enough. Blade is one of my favorite Marvel comics characters.
I believe this process was used for Seven, too.
Blade is a cinematic gem 💎
Definitely go for Blade 2. Is directed by Guillermo del Toro and shows his early drafts for what would end up being "his" vampires in The Strain (both books and series). BTW, the one liner about "ice skating uphill" was Wesley Snipe's idea, it wasn't in the original screenplay.
+1 for Blade 2, Guillermo does an awesome job bringing it to screen. i enjoyed the DVD BTS stuff too, well worth checking out sometime
I thought it was the director. He heard Snipes say it during a break while Snipes was on a call, loved the phrase, and wanted to use it in the movie. Which is why it doesn't really make sense given the situation.
@@WhiteWoof Might have been that way also. I'm only sure that it wasn't in the original script.
From there, studios flocked to Marvel and bought up as many rights as they could.
blade is a timeless classic great reaction
Oh shit, it's about time that my girl Lauren experiences the greatness that is Blade!!!
Glad you’re finally getting to see Wesley Snipes as Blade! You have such an awesome personality. Whether it’s your reactions or livestreams, I’m always in a good mood when I’m watching your content
Thank you so much kevin that was really kind of you to say😄
YES!YES!
Kate Beckinsale's ‘Underworld’ series, pitching vampires v werewolves is also worth a look.
So glad You to finally get around to this one, We All knew that You'd Love it...and You'll Love "Blade II" even more!! 😎✌
Traci Lords the cat's meow. Killed off way too quick.
Late 1990's joy.
By the way, this was the movie that reinvigorated the superhero movie genre, which finally died in 2019 after Avengers: Endgame.
Saw this is the theatre when it first came out. Such a good movie and great reaction as usual.
I remember watching this movie when it came out in the theater. Wesley Snipes is "Blade". Watch the sequels. You're sure to enjoy.
If I'm asked the best line in any film, I'm always going to pick "Some mthrfkrs are always trying to iceskate uphill."
For 25 years I've wondered if Blade was referring to Deacon Frost's arrogance that he believed he could become a god, or his
arrogance in thinking that he'd somehow be able to beat Blade, but whatever it meant, it's the most badass line I've ever heard.
Awesome to put me in your reaction video 😁
Next must be Blade II, directed by Guillermo del Toro!
Not the first marvel film .. but probably the first one with a "real" budget that was taken as seriously as a AAA hollywood film. Still the BEST .. imho
I love it when I see a notification from LoveLaurenn. This is going to be a good one.
If you're up for an animated vampire movie, I'd highly highly recommend Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust! Your jaw will be on the floor with how beautiful it looks!
my favorite line from this movie, that I am proud to say I have had a few occasions to use in public with friends 14:33 "catch you F*ckers at a bad time?"
lmao loved that line😂
@@LoveLaurenn try it on your friends when the situation comes up, it's a blast!
Easily the best superhero opening sequence of all time.
Thanks for a great reaction, keep up the good work.
the trilogy was trash the first movie was the best
Another great vampire series is the underworld movies. This was a great reaction. Thank you. 😊
I love that line, " Catch you fuckers at a bad time?" lol
Long before there were teams Jacob and Edward, there were actual great vampire movies. Including The Lost Boys
For Wesley Snipes films, I recommend 'Rising Sun' also starring Sean Connery from 1993 and 'Passenger 57' from 1992 it also stars an old friend of mine, Bruce Payne.
If you're looking for another REALLY cool vampire movie I'd highly recommend 30 Days Of Night. The vampires are like landsharks and just straight up savage people, plus the story is pretty damn good.
This is where the fun begins!! This movie is great! This was my first rated R movie and first Marvel film! Hope you like it! 🙏🏽💪
Great reaction happy Friday 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Can't believe that i was 21 when this classic was released 🤯🤯 excellent stuff and Snipes was perfect for the role the Blood Rave scene from the start is one of the best comic introductions ever made, glad you enjoyed it Laurenn i am sure if you have not seen the other two will enjoy those a lot as well👌
Cool reaction as always Laurenn, you have a great weekend sweetie 🥰❤️
The hospital window jump effect was used in the first Matrix movie training Neo. Wesley actually approached Marvel to do Black Panther.
Great choice Lauren!
Love so much your reactions, your excitement with every scene, is all gold. Lots of love 🥰❤
That makes me happy to read that you enjoy my reactions fabio, thank you so much for watching😄
One of the great things about Blade (Besides Wesley's outstanding performance) is the fact that it didn't get bogged down by a forced love story. It mostly focused on action and plot. While the third movie is the weakest in my opinion I would definitely recommend you watch the trilogy.
Lauren was cracking me up on this one 😂 love this Wesley Snipes Flick!
For anyone who grew up watching the 90's Spider-Man Animated Series this was one of the best superhero movies ever.
Honestly, I think if it wasn't for that show we would've never gotten this movie.
As far as other Wesley Snipes films: "Blade" 2 and 3, "Passenger 57", "Money Train", "White Men Can't Jump" and "Rising Sun", just to name a few.
Blade did Matrix 'bullet time' before the Matrix did. A good vampire flick from the '80s to check out is The Lost Boys.
👍 +
The birth of the modern superhero movie. Im a nightshift guy, always call you lot Daywalkers. This always reminded me of Dark Buffy.
Lauren the song in the club at the beginning is called operation blade....big in the uk in the 2000s
I saw this and John Carpenter's Vampires with together and that was pretty good as well.
Interview with the vampire is a awesome movie as well
some great vampire films for you i recommend , fright night , lost boys , near dark , bram stolkers dracula, interview with a vampire , 30 days and night , underworld and dracula untold
2:45 Raining blood - Slayer
Snipes is ALSO great in a comedy called Major League, a dramedy called Too Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, and if you like him as an action star, try Passenger 57 - where he plays a very Blade-esque cop in a "Die Hard on a plane" kind of thing, a thriller with Sean Connery called Rising Sun, and an underrated sequel to The Fugitive called U.S. Marshalls, with Tommy Lee Jones. He's also in some of The Expendables films, if memory serves, but his run of 90's films was pretty amazing.
His career was doing great until he decided to pick a fight with the 800lb gorilla in the room: the IRS, even he wasn't going to win that one.
@@Ylyrra He's not the first person to get screwed by the people who were supposed to have his back, but sometimes its not about winning the fight against injustice - its just about making the stand when the situation demands it.

What Vanessa said was very much true, Blade's mother died a long time ago, she's just a groupie for Frost.
One of my all time favorites!
Hi Lauren hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Well done video.
