Absolutely. I used to be pretty active with Zumba and tennis and just going to parks, now I watch tv. I used to make things and draw, play instruments, was always reading every chance I got. Now I’m 23, can barely focus on anything, and I feel so physically weak.

You can absolutely do this! I know it seems very hard but you are so capable of this. Everything you need to study, you have already heard before! (As I assume you’re talking about exams) Find a way of studying that works for you. (I used to love the pomodoro technique, summarizing my book by summarizing the page, writing it on a post-it and then sticking it onto the page, and ofcourse I made summaries, tho these take a lot of time. Hobbies I want to start getting back into are reading, writing, art, and going on walks. I used to be such a creative person but as my depression got worse I just lost interest in almost everything and now I barely feel happy anymore and I'm always tired 😔😪
My anxiety problems got so bad that I had to take a break from school :,) now I am jobless, friendless (got cut off after high school + me and my boyfriend broke up a month ago so now I am REALLY friendless) and no activities interest or excite me. I went to the library yesterday, haven’t read a book in years but thought I’d try. I listened to a new album that came out and journaled my first impressions of every song, went for a walk, tried meditation, cleaned my whole room, started showering every day, applied for a job, started a work-out routine, practiced songs on guitar…. And still I get bored after 10 minutes of each activity. Man I am trying so hard to make things better. Plus I end up thinking about my relationship situation nearly every day until I freak out again. I’ve felt numb like this since I graduated high school last year. I have not lost hope, I romanticize even the worst days to the best of my abilities. I think I need a therapist or smth, or maybe just a big hug. To anyone struggling similarly, we’ll get through this and create a future where we’re present and alive. Just gotta keep trying.
2 month update: still incredibly depressed woo. I do have a therapist, I’ve been reconnecting with some friends, I got a job, still reading, been going to the gym, I have a super consistent journaling routine and idk, I’m considering returning to school. Things are still VERY VERY rough and I literally cry like 10 times a day every day. I haven’t really been trying to get over my breakup at all because I still want to get back together, he was my best friend for years and I really don’t think this is the best thing for either of us. It’s difficult to try and improve myself when I’m also scared of moving away from this other very important piece of my life and it’s scary to know that it may be for nothing and lead to more pain. No matter what, I’m trying to do whatever the ‘right thing’ is, but there is no telling what that could be. Maybe 2 months from now everything will be very different.

It's crazy how I was basically struggling with this loss of interest in things I love doing. I manage to do them for a few days but always end up losing interest in it and feeling like I am losing time because I'm not productive (while I'm literally in holidays). I really hope that I will be able to set up a healthy routine and maintain it! Btw, it seems like your skin condition has improved! I remember how bad I felt about my acne as it was mentally difficult (people's derogatory comments on it) and physically (at the end it was even painful to smile due to the amount of pimples). I just got back from a trip to Crete Greece and even though I’m in school I really want to put a pause on it and just keep traveling. The problem with that is how will I make money? And I have a scholarship that will expire by the end of next spring. I’ll have my associates next spring but I still want to get my bachelors because im going to be a teacher. On top of that I’m in a committed relationship and he wants us to keep saving money for a house for next year. I’m worried I won’t get to see all the places I want to see in my life. Last time I went out of the country I felt so amazing when I got home. I felt like life was meaningful and I felt full. The trip to Crete was amazing but I just feel so depressed after coming back. College is rough and I’m supposed to start a new job and I feel like I’ve grown so distant from the people I care about. I feel alone. Any suggestions? I just feel so lost.

I want back my love for guitar, it was my outlet and my favourite thing to do, I was really good at it and I miss my talent so much
I want to act again, I was so good at monologues, got the highest score in my level when I started :(
I want to draw again, i remember the first time I accidentally left my sketchbook open on the table and the whole class crowded there when I was gone
I want to continue researching on religions, it used to be my fav passed time I used to be fascinated with belief and faith,, I randomly knew the basics and some random facts on Islam one month and the next month start memorising all the titans name from Greek mythology
