The irony that the Akademiya is so antagonistic towards Nilou, but you pretty much have to be a scholar to be able to understand her moveset.
I for one don't know if she'd be useful, but there's no denying her kit is aesthetically beautiful.
Using her I was trying to understand whether to use her e-first or her burst first . Right now my team combo is yelan burst, collei burst, Barbara for thrilling tails, then nilou burst then e. Barbara's also there for healing since I don't have kokonut
Now that I think about it I possibly can use waterboy for some healing too but I need to build him

To be Fair her Q is one of the most simple and boring Elemental bursts in the Game :D Water aoe that hits 2x.
Skill: It's as complex as a dance and requires working together with a dendro character for maximum damage

And I also love how poetic the different names sounded, especially when it came to her burst, while seeing the stunning animation at the same time. Her simple yet graceful move and the huge shimmering Lotus blooming around her... It actually impressed me so much that it shook my resolve to skip her and wait for Nahida.

I can tell this character will get a crazy increase in worth with the dendro archons introduction. She’ll get justice over time like kazuha and Kokomi
future setup (banner rerun incentive) for later sumeru/dendro characters and fontaine's hydro characters, just in particular

@@naufalap I can‘t imagine it without Kokomi bc she has ranged auto attacks that apply Hydro. A hilichurl standing at the edge of the map. You just switch to Kokomi and do auto attacks. Done

I also don't have many hydro characters, it's just all in all not the right timing for me. And it sounds really complicated. But hey, she is pretty.

earthblade, fireblade. Long ago, the four nationblades lived in harmony, until the fireblade attacked.
Nilou and Nahida have already become my favourite characters on a team together, and this is coming from a Day 1 player. I love that Nilou has a lot of complexity to her kit, but she's actually very easy to play, once you understand what it is that makes her so useful.
E-skill + normal attack button x3: focused hydro dmg then continues doing same stance for a while.
E-Skill + E-Skill button x3: AoE hydro then continues with AoE wet effect area for elemental reactions.
(Or mix normal attack button with E-skill button for a 3 hit combo, but only the 3rd attack will determine what effect continues afterwards. In the video that 3rd attack is called "3rd Stance", to confuse things further I presume)
Talents only work if party is a combination of Hydro and Dendro characters and basically enables buffed dendro cores that explode faster, do more dmg (based on Nilou's HP) have larger AoE, and give you EM if they blow up in your face (well you actually gain EM from any Dendro dmg, but the talent is there to sinergize with the Bloom reaction).
Burst is simply Hydro AoE that will hit twice.
Oh, and some cooking talent that occupies the place of something actually useful, as always.
Side note: Since her Sword Dance is considered E-Skill dmg there is no sinergy with characters that boost Normal Attack, just in case we get any ideas.
Dainsleif's closing words for this collected miscenally is something else. We should take notes and remember.

But for more consideration, her passive ONLY works for duo-element team of hydro and dendro. So you need to only have hydro and dendro in her team. If teamates of any other elements present, her passive will not activate. It make her team strategy become very limited.
Too bad, i just want to try Albedo + Nilou + Collei + Sucrose with super dendro explosion, but it won't work. Far below my expectations

The fact of the matter is, in the never-ending dream, the Sabzeruz festival always came to a stop before the main events of the festival were performed. The sages at the Akademiya got a kick out of interrupting Nahida's birthday over and over and over again. It isn't just sheer arrogance. It's plain, putrid hatred for Nahida accompanied by their arrogance of thinking that they know better than their own God.

It's been a while since we've been this hyped about a character! I think it's because of Nilou's graceful personality and her unique ability set that also seamlessly blends in as a dance. Can't wait to pull for her! :D
