Great video, lovely scenery. Talin looked beautiful. Really like the hill of crosses, its the sort of thing we like to try and see when travelling 😁 looking forward to the next installment.
thank you, Tallinn was a lovely city. Whilst I’m not the biggest city person I enjoyed that place. But I do like seeing different things such as the Hill of crosses
Estonia looked pretty and some lovely scenery between rain as you drove on through the countries. The campsite looked a good stop at Latvia. You must just look very dodgy to keep being pulled over haha!
I think as many others have said it just looks like a van on the boarder, they lose interest when they find it’s a campervan. They did look like lovely places its just a shame we couldn’t spend more time
Great vlog bud. Hil of crosses is a strange old place. As Lithuania was one of the last Pagan countries. But most families have Christ like wooden figures in their homes. Plus Beer and food amazing there 😋 Loving the travels 👌
Definitely was an interesting place. We went there with minimal research on the place as it’s something we wanted to see but wanted to discover more about it in person. It’s a weird old feeling there until you start to learn about what it’s there for
@@MispronouncedAdventures very true. The people went though a lot during Russian occupation. Pure hell. But its a wonderful country to explore. The coastal areas are amazing. Pick amber off the beaches after the storms
It's a shame you don't get more time to explore each country, but it's still great to get a glimpse of how different they all are. Maybe if you removed your hat before the border crossings, you might not get stopped so often? Just an idea 😉😜 Enjoy the rest of your trip! 😀
This spot was marked particularly as drinking for filling up a campervan / motorhome. For me I’m perfectly happy with that. But water quality is down to each individual some are more sensitive than others. Although come to think of it the majority of my water use in the van is either for the shower washing up or making a brew. I don’t have a in-line water drinking filtration system in the van but I do have a filtration water bottle I use if I’m out walking
Hard to say. As the first bit of the trip was big days getting north quickly and we knew lots of driving. Whilst later on in the trip we slowed way down. As I’m back in the uk now I did a total of 6900 miles in 50 days. Let’s take off 2500 miles off for the mad drive out 1600 and drive 900. so let’s say 4400 on the trip, divided by 50 days in about 88 miles a day.
I love those historical, almost ancient cities. Love to visit, maybe even live there, although I'm not sure about that, because you didn't show any shops. The nature parts were beautiful too. I suspect the border agents are also viewers of your videos and therefore like to have a personal tour from you.
Unfortunately not many nature spots on this part. The Estonia was the city car park, Latvia was a campsite where we edited for two days and then Lithuania was just on the edge of a town. However plenty nice spots in Poland and the rest of trip. I think I’ve given more van tours to the border agents in Europe at the minute than I have two others!
Next time use Tallink for crossing the gulf of Finland its more expensive but way easier to park a van(I worked in Finnland for a year). Also I think I passed you on Tallinn Parnu road, I thought what is that British guy doing here driving 90kph😁.
There are three different providers I think 🤔. My friends took earlier ferry and had a different company I think I just went for the company which was at the right time for me. Haha yes pretty sure that’s the right I took.
@@MispronouncedAdventures Yes you are correct there are 3 providers, the most important thing for us was the crossing time (it varies greatly, from 2h to 3h 30min). Great videos, decided to subscribe.
That doesn’t surprise me we were warned of things like this. Additionally with my campervan looking like a panel van it seems I’m often stopped if they think I’m carrying cargo and soon lose interest when They see it’s a camper
To be fair, i think it's also to do with you driving on the wrong side of the car as to why they keep stopping you :P Not a usual sight on some borders.
We’ve been hooked on your van build videos 🙂
Thank you, I hope you have enjoyed the travel videos as well
@@MispronouncedAdventures we have, been watching alongside John and Mandy’s…love your van and how well it all works (mainly shower and cooking! )
Hey, my GPS is set normally 😜 yours is set to not follow me 🤣 Those roads were tough to drive, especially in the wet..
🤣 it’s actually a setting in Waze honest “Different route to John and Mandy”
we MADE IT THROUGH thank you - most helpful van life RUclips so far ;D
That’s great to hear! Nice one. Enjoy your trip!
Enjoy your videos. Had to google about Schengen Visas. Very interesting.
Aye, it’s an interesting area we now have to deal with
Great vlog, really liked the choice of music. Neat t-shirt too!
Thank you very much

another great video, even with all the driving the view look amazing.
Much appreciated it’s been quite difficult making content with videos when I’ve just been doing a lot of driving
Awesome Alex! Loving this trip! Keep up the good work, safe travels
Thank you very much! Still a fair few videos to come for this trip!
@@MispronouncedAdventures I look forward to them! Hoping to do a trip to Poland myself next year

I agree but I think it’s always going to be a trade-off on any trip sacrificing time in some places for time spent on others.
Alex, enjoying the series, when you fill up with water, I assume its drinkable, or do you treat it/boil it before use?

Can I ask what mileage you are doing daily? Loving your outlook on life too. x

Thank you very much. Ah I didn’t realise it was such a different in time taking to cross
FIRST!
I didn’t even know my video was out!
13:22 migrant check! They've been finding hundreds this way ever since Belarus unleashed them.

Not a usual sight on some borders.
I do my best to stay on the correct side.
"can you please speak english?" ok "pokazite sto u vas v bagaznike":)))))) joke of the day
i did wonder what she was saying
Nothing more suspicious to a border agent than a single male driving a cargo van.
Pretty much my assumption now. The second they see its a campervan they lose interest
"Randomly Selected" Ha. Just like I randomly selected to watch your videos? No dude, you stand out in a crowd of mediocrity.
Thank you very much 😊
Ha Hah Hah your stealth camper is working great Ha Hah Hah
Yeah everyone thinks I’m a normal van, they loose interest when they see it’s a camper van
