Brilliant thank you
Great info 👍 👌 👏
Thanks for that. I found quite a few useful tips and places to stay.
Thanks for an exceptionally well presented and helpful series of videos guys. We intend doing 5 weeks in January '24. Cheers.
Well done Andy. Having previously completed a similar route some years ago I though I would watch yours to jog my memory. I really enjoyed your videos. I thought the content and info were pitched just right. I’m looking forward to watch some others. Jim
Just cam across your channel, very informative and will be very useful on our upcoming trip through France and into Spain.
Have loved watching your vlogs and excellent idea with the ‘what three words’ 😃
Bo probs. Thanks for watching:)
very enjoyable vids - thank you. x
Many thanks :)
Brilliant 👍🏽
Enjoyed every episode, now looking forward to the next adventure
Many thanks. Got the daughter's wedding to get through next month so only short trips for now. :) thanks for watching
Great vlog both! Brilliant series! The cost breakdown is very useful, especially as we’re off to Spain next week!
Thanks. You'll love it. Enjoy tor trip :)
Thanks very much for vlogging that trip, especially the breakdown. It’s going to be a few years until we can retire but we can’t wait to follow in your footsteps!
Don't leave it until you can afford it that could be to late
I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos, they have been to the point and kept me engaged.
The breakdown of the cost was a surprise, fuel is the big blow at the moment.
Will hope to do the kind of trip you have both made.👍👍
Thanks for the feedback. It's all in the planning, let's hope fuel comes down again :)
Great video series. We've had our Moho a few months now and only been doing short trips to get the feel of the van. Feeling inspired now to take a similar route down to Spain. Love the map on your dinette table!
Thanks for watching. You'll have many adventures in your van, we love getting away :) was looking at the table map yesterday planning another big trip.
Great trip really enjoyed following you 😊
Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for all the good info , we’re heading back to Ireland soon from Corsica via Spain after the F1 GP in Catalonia.
Love the what 3 words ,
stay safe Pat and Annette
Sounds a great trip. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you for the series. We leave for Spain early in the new year, so lots of good info for us. We are French resident, originally from Yorkshire, so we don’t have to worry about ferries etc. It will be interesting to see how our costs compare to yours. Thanks again!
Glad you've enjoyed it. Being that much closer to a warmer climate in winter must be great. Your fuel a bit cheaper than ours too. For us it's got be at least a 6 week trip due to the travel costs and the long drive. It would be great to do it a few times a year. Thanks for watching. :)
Thanks for the detailed breakdown (and the w3w locations. I wish more people would do that!). We're planning about eight weeks in September/October through France, Belgium, Lux, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Spain, France... so there's some very useful stuff in this series for us. Thanks again!
Bon voyage. That's a lot of countries to get round in 8 weeks. Enjoy :)
@@KissisAdventures The France/Belgium/Lux leg is just a one day means of getting to Germany TBF. And it's all flexible!
@@stevekimberley4892 sounds a good tour, enjoy
Hi great to watch your trip as we were doing almost the same trip in our car and hotel stops, needless to say we spent as much as you did in 3 weeks , we now have the same motorhome as you and was a bit worried about the fuel cost on
our return trip to Spain and Portugal, we have just returned from the Newbury 60s weekend and it cost approximately £60 for fuel about 200 miles so not sure our van does the same mileage as yours , because we would only get 2000 miles for your holiday fuel costs am I doing something wrong ??
Great journey...
Would you feel safe carrying 2 ebikes on the back of you're motorhome are there any bike thefts do motorhomes get targeted by thieves...want to take ours with us just a bit worried they won't be there one day when we come back hoping to do mostly camp sites
Thanks
That was perfect timing, sat down with a pizza just as this came up! Did you manage to get any sea fishing in?
Thanks. I did a bit but never caught anything. Mostly rocky so had to buy stone floats. Always take a rod though. Spent a fortune on fish in the supermarkets so could do with being a better fisherman. Lol
12e expensive! Oh come on. These are secure places with a barrier. It all has to be paid for.
Hi Andy. Just bought our MH and are planning our very first trip to France n Spain in Sep/Oct so I’ve followed your adventures for inspiration. And thoroughly enjoyed them. As we are new to this sort of thing and being a bit of a security nut’ I feel as if I need to fit every security device there is to our MH. But do I ? . How bad is it out there ?. Is their a minimum of security I need to install. ? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Regards Steve.
Hi Steve, can't say ive ever had a problem. However I always put the steering wheel lock on. I also lock the drivers seat rear facing with a chain and lock when leaving the van. On the drive, which has a locked gate, I put wheel lock on sometimes, think it was £30 from amazon. Secret is to slow them down or put them off really. Good luck
Hi Both - Really enjoyed your Spanish trip with some great info, well presented and very useful - I have a quick question, we are planning a trip next year and i was going to fit an 11kg Gaslow cylinder and use my Calor Lite as back up - do you use two cylinders or just the one? and either way what size do you use please? Just trying to save weight a little?
12kg gasit refillable & a 6kg propane for the barbie. Loads of places in France/Spain to get LPG/GPL. Not so easy to exchange bottles though. Enjoy :)
@@KissisAdventures Thank you 👍
Hello you two and greetings from Delightful Devon! We did a similar trip to yourselves this time last year and are off again (next month) to do something similar again so your Vlogs were a nice reminder of places to go and see. Thank you. A quick question if I may. It looks as though you had really good weather on your way down, not so good on the return journey. We were looking to be heading back in mid January but going via Perpignan and then through the middle of France rather than risk going back over the Pyrenees to the west coast. Any thoughts?
Not that experienced with that journey tbh. We stuck to west coast and crossed at Hendaye on way down (end Jan) as were told that route is relatively low altitide and hence less snow and ice.
@@KissisAdventures Ah, OK, thanks for that. Might just have to wait and see how things fare a bit closer to the time!
We are thinking about purchasing a small camper van here in the States that we can ship to Europe to tour in for a few months and I have a question. Do you think we would have trouble finding petrol in places like the UK, France, Spain, and Italy? Do some stations only carry diesel? Thank you!
Hi guys. Petrol available everywhere. Majority of cars in UK and Europe are petrol. Enjoy.
Hi thanks that was a great series of vlogs, did you carry much cash or did you find most places etc etc took card payments
Thanks 🐧🐧
Always had a bit of cash but most places took card :)
very good
