Just subscribed, we are going to watch all your Spain videos (and all the others of course) as this is something we would like to do next year. All the best, Gary and Julie
Hi just found your channel and subbed, like the travel information and tips, we go to Belgium mostly from our home in Nth Wales in our Self Build, my sister and brother in law have recently taken to campervaning and have definitely got the bug, and I sent them the link so they can get sone tips for Spain. "safe travels" regards James
Great video folks. My Crafter van goes in tomorrow do get a conversion done on it .. I obviously was meant to see this video. Look forward to seeing the others. Many thanks. Andrew
Brilliant video! Smashing! Dead good! Did I mention brilliant!?! Seriously a cracking vid and looking forward to see more. Fancy reading a short sob story? Got a violin? We returned to caravanning in September last year buying a Swift Ambassador, after a 30 year break. I wanted a moho. She wouldn’t let me have one. So we got the caravan. Two trips out last year. Swapped it last month for another new Swift Ace, this time one with a fixed bed, the Envoy. Thing is, I can’t see me ever now dragging it to Spain. I will have to enjoy your videos instead!
Thanks for the great feedback. Plenty of people dragging caravans around over here. Driving is much more pleasurable and quieter in Spain and France. Happy travels
Great video, we done a 3 month tour of France, Spain and Portugal in 2019 and had a fantastic time. We are planning our next trip end of March for 2 months, like yous staying over night at either blackhourse farm, or where yous stayed at Canterbury Park. Early morning Eurotunnel then heading down to Camping Sainte Clair as we stayed there last time, lovely little site. Then make our way south meeting friends in Spain. Got all the Aires books for France and Spain as found them very useful last time. We will be following your video updates enjoy.
Thanks for the feedback and tips. We're having a ball. Currently at El Campello, edge of Alicante. Weather good and plenty of sites to choose from. :) thanks for watching
great information on your Spanish trip the best I have seen, we will doing the same next year is there anyway you can let us have more detail on your trip for to use as a point of reference thanks Colin
How exciting 🙂. Hoping to do something similar ourselves next year when we’ve got our new 6m van. We haven’t done anything as adventurous yet so thanks for letting us in on your trip. Hope you have a great time!
Great video blog thanks ...we are planning trip to Andalusia and Algarve in January..would love to know more about your route avoiding some tolls . We have never been south of the Vendée in our Swift 622
Great video, we are in El Campello Alicante at the moment, been here for Three months , absolutely fabulous. Make sure you book your motor home stops or campsites as it is very busy . Weather has been amazing. Happy Travels 😃
Hi, we just left El Campello a few days ago, the site run by French family. We are now on the beach between Santa Pola and Gran Alacant, great freebie but busy. Did you know there is a camping show at Alicante today and tomorrow? We are going today. Happy travels.
@@KissisAdventures oh wow , we are five minutes down from you , beautiful spot , the beach is amazing and the tram that take's you to Alicante or Benidorm, plus lots of other wonderful places . We are leaving this week to head back home to France . Looking forward to seeing more of your travels in the sunshine ☀️😃
Great Vlog guys, waiting for our new van to do the same, will be nice to take our time travelling rather than squeezing the journey to Spain from Liverpool into about 36 hours. Travel safe.
About right what we did. Take a day to the ferry or tunnel. Three days to the top of Spain and then a day through Spain to the coast. If you're not fixed to a time take as long as you like. Enjoy
Brilliant vlog guys we will enjoy coming on the journey with you as we did the same route route 4 year's ago what happy memories 😀 Would recommend visiting Mijas and Rhonda if you are going to the costa del sol. Enjoy 😉
hello my friends We follow your channel. We have the same van as yourselves can you tell me where you got the shelf above the rear passenger seats . it look s an ideal space for our tv many thanks Ian and Anne.
HI, Great 1st blog looking forward to the next one and your travels. interested in your route as we also would like to take our time and worry to much about using Toll roads if possible. A mention of site fees as you go would be a great help as its in our plans to do a similar journey and be nice to have a rough idea . Anyway safe journey and enjoy your adventure.
Will keep you informed of site fees. We have a £10 budget per night for site fees. Currently averaging about £5/night due to freebies combined with site fees around £15. Tip: do your budget in euros.
Hiya just subscribed and started watching you guys. We leave on Wednesday (first ever time in T6 campervan) doing similar route down to Calpe but lots toll roads whereas ur route appears not so Can you please share me the full route thanks so Much
If you google 'long road south' you should find the full article with step by step instructions. If you struggle to find it, let me know. It's a good route with only €13 in tolls.
Hi. Just found you on RUclips. Enjoyed your journey down from Calais to Benicarlo. I'm interested in the places you stopped. You mentioned the one where you stopped for lunch but I didn't catch the name. Then there were a few where you stopped but made no mention as to the location. Can you remember where they where? Perhaps you could refer to places using What3words. Enjoy your future travels. I'm sure we'll be following some of your route.
In the later episodes I started using what3words. All the sites we stopped at were from Search for Sites. I'll have a look bass look through the first video and get you the names. Do you use search for sites? Great value at £5.99/year.
No I tend to use Park4night and places you and other travellers use that are en route and that I like the look of. Thanks for updating the description on RUclips
Hi - just subscribed to your channel. Couple of questions, where did you order your covid tests from and could you tell us the location of the Canterbury stay over please? Would be great if you could mention the costs when you stay over at campsites too. Great vlogs. Thanks.
We have just picked up a new Accordo, same size as yours, and are planning something similar, but I would love to know how you managed to get so much packed in.
Hi Guys, at the introduction of your video, I notice you had an external door lock on your MH. When we bought our Accordo 120 I asked the dealer to fit such a lock and he said it was impossible due to the fold in the body work adjacent to the door. I found out later that he only sells Thule external locks which have a long body mechanism. So he was correct. So, could you tell me what make of lock you fitted and was there any issues fitting it? Similarly I see you have a caravan wheel lock on the rear wheel. The only time I've seen these advertised was for Alloy wheels - your wheels look similar to mine (steel with a plastic cover) so was that a special clamp you bought? Really enjoyed the video and as you can see found it helpful and am looking forward to the continuing adventure. Keep well and best regards from us in (currently wet and windy) Edinburgh.
Hi George it's a fiamma lock. I'll try and send you some photos. SN is 1661508 and it's called a safe door. Can't remember where I got the wheel lock but will check my history on amazon. Thanks for watching
Hi great blog , love the maps and info thanks , since Brexit how does the 90 day in 180 day restriction work ? Eg If you went to france for 1 -3 rd jan then back to UK and then started your 90 days from april 1 TILL june 30th would you have to come back to UK for a couple of days and then start your second 180 period july 5th for eg ,? So then do 3 months july , aug , sept , then back to the uk for winter ? All sounds like a big hassle ? Course you wouldnt be doing 3 month stretches but curious : when do the 180 periods start ? Or is it you can only travel 3months / year ?
Once you arrive in EU the clock starts on the 180 days. In that period of time you can clock up 90 days max away. Then the 180 starts again at the end of the first 180. That's the way I understand it.
Enjoying the vlogs and will definitely be travelling a similar route as yours , Quick question we have recently bought a Elddis 196 with steel wheels do you recommend the wheel clamp you are using as there are So many types !
Would it be possible for you to make the directions document available shared via Google Drive or similar? I followed your link but have had problems registering and receiving the confirmation email.
Did you take food into France? Heard stories of food being confiscated, we don't have a problem buying from supermarche, but we have to be buying dog food which we think might cause problem
Brassic is the colloquial pronunciation of Boracic as in Boracic lint, a medical dressing, the name of which is Cockney rhyming slang for skint (i.e., insolvent). Not trying to be a smart arse, but did you mean its absolute "brass monkeys" or is it some northern slang ?

Google c19 testing. Google Cantebury park and ride, New Dover Road. :)
Hi I’m a new subscriber and also new to Motorhome travels. May I ask do you use a satnav like garmin or Tom Tom etc. Great videos
Have had any Dampness problems with your Elddis mine is horrendous
So far not (touch wood). I've heard a lot have though. Hope you get it sorted.
We have just picked up a new Accordo, same size as yours, and are planning something similar, but I would love to know how you managed to get so much packed in.
The 125 has a garage, which is packed full. Even with bikes though we are still only 3.1 metric tonnes.

Auto companion store (through Amazon) for wheel lock. Designed for non alloys :)
Thanks for the prompt reply, very helpful. Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying yourselves.

Yes it fits a treat and cheap, about £30 I think.
I think you'll find that "brassic" means skint, penniless and not cold!
Hi can you please advise how you got on the Eurotunnel with the fillable LPG you have? I thought you weren’t allowed on with LPG.
I think it refers to cars that run on LPG. there is a limit to the tank size, which I think is quite generous. We had no problems.
Would it be possible for you to make the directions document available shared via Google Drive or similar? I followed your link but have had problems registering and receiving the confirmation email.
I guess not!
Great vlog, can I ask did you just turn up at a area and then find a aire or had you got the aire in mind before.
Cheers 🐧🐧
Use search for sites mostly. But handy to have 'all the Aires' book and the ACSI book
Did you take food into France? Heard stories of food being confiscated, we don't have a problem buying from supermarche, but we have to be buying dog food which we think might cause problem
I'm looking to rent a motorhome in Madrid, Spain later this month. Can anyone recommend a great place to rent one from?
Don't know a lot about this but do remember spotting McRent Campervan hire vans on the road, as we made our way home passed Madrid.
Aargh a guy who drives on the middle lane, when the inside is empty,, my pet hate
“But the inside lane is for lorries!” I hear him say! 🙄
Красно дякую за відео! Я просто в захваті від вас. Зачарований! Україна, попри те, що у нас війна, спостерігає за вами! Миру вам і щастя!
Don’t think you meant to say “it’s brassic / borassic here”........ has nothing to do with weather conditions!
near to where I live 🙌 Check out the new Route99, will take you to some nice villages with population 99 people or less
Will do, thanks :)
