@@SaddleHunter nah…. I checked yesterday and they haven’t even started a thread on the 2022 competition yet. Love the channel man…. I sold my ess and bought a treehopper last year because of your review .
Man, your nocking it out of the park with these reviews and this is an excellent comparison. You were very thorough and fair and I see your channel taking off if you keep it up. New subscriber! 🇺🇲👍
Great review, I was looking at replacing my Tethrd Mantis. Hip pinch issues after about 3 to 5 hours of being in the tree. Sounds like you are leaning toward the Recon. So how does the Recon compare to the Latitude Method? I am primarily a leaner. Thanks and hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Got my ess tonight. Very disappointed. Crappy quality ! Sewing looks like a beginner made it ! 😡 Should have checked on where they are manufactured. More American jobs sourced out to China ! I'm Gonna give it to my son and order a recon .
I'm sure they have a 30 day return policy why not return it and buy two recons. American made and less money. Im selling my mantis and going recon. Outsourcing to c h I n a has not made me a tethrd fan
My initial thoughts are that its great for leaning. If you primarily sit there are much better options. I don't like how the top panel essentially acts like a permanent back band because it restricts the mobility of your upper torso.
Hated my recon. Looking for the most mailable saddle out there… don’t care if it’s a two panel . I have a Mantis and a Cruzr. I love Chads stuff but want something that easily fits into my fanny.
I had no idea my ESS was made in China. I always assumed it was American made. Welp….. that sucks. I’m selling it for an American one. Don’t care. That’s really pisses me off . I’m not saying I don’t buy foreign made stuff …. But I did buy it thinking it was American made
Very fair review . I received my Treehopper Recon yesterday and watched this review today. Pretty sure I would have chosen the Recon had I watched this prior to purchase. They both look very well and probably hunt with similar comfort. I ordered mine with rope bridge plates. Could you do a short video of best ways to attach amsteel rope to the rope bridge plates? Thanks man I am new subscriber!
Right off the bat your evaluation is incorrect you can't weigh 1 versus the other obviously it's 6 in smaller the weight difference is it's going to be significant right off the bat you got an apple
Hey bud, the extra ~ 24" of webbing in a size "regular" Recon doesn't add more than a couple ounces. I bet it's still 6+oz lighter than the ESS, which is "significant". If you want to buy all these saddles to do "correct" evaluations be my guest.
You were on my turkey hunting team on old gobbler for a couple of seasons . Strut stoppers .
Yeah man! I was disappointed that I missed the deadline last year, probably did this year as well come to think of it.

I'll stick to my Anderson tree sling. Been using it since the early 80's and it still looks and works like the day I bought it.

Thanks for the compliments and subscription. More videos about to drop!
Great comparison! Excited to also hear your review on the method. I think one of these 3 is going to be my first saddle purchase.
I've done back to back to back sits with them. I'm beginning to find a favorite.
@@SaddleHunter looking forward to hearing about it.👍
So which one is more comfortable?
Was looking for this comparison. Good review.
Thanks!
USA made at cheaper price.. Eberhardt will probably order the Recon .. I already have
What’s your favorite of the two?
Tough call, but ESS.

If you are primarily a leaner the Method is probably the way to go if money isn’t a hindrance.
What if your size changes??? Have to order another size!!! Big disadvantage. Costly as well. E S S hands down.
There are some disadvantages to one size fits all saddles though. For example those d rings can touch in front of smaller guys.
I would see the review on the cruzr tree saddle vs the aero hunter Merlin pro's and cons
I will do the Merlin shortly, but I don't have a Cruzr. Sorry!
Buy a cruzr and you’ll sell all the others

There ya go give your son a poorly stitched saddle nice guy good dad

@@SaddleHunter thanks!
Another good review!
Thanks Doug! I hope the information is helpful for guys trying to decide which would be better suited for them.
@@SaddleHunter yes it is. Glad we have people like you who try this new gear out and post a review!

@@yengxiong1992 already sold …. I own a tree hopper now
I've watched all your videos cause I don't have the ability to try and pay, thx 4 your time! Any interest doing a review on the cruzr ?
Yeah I'd like to try one, but it adds up buying all these saddles.

F china!! complete review very good- thanks
Thanks for watching!
What does China have to do with it? Lol
