@@NightOfFunny I know how MKWii shortcuts are. I think that MKWii feels more competitive while MK8 feels more casual. MK8 seems more casual than Wii EVEN on competitive events
I was going to write a comment about this, but then I saw this one...😂 Honestly, as a MKWII player, I was very curious about MK8 shortcuts, but then, after watching a few videos, I was very disappointed... Honestly, this video surprised me, now I can say that MK8 has some very interesting shortcuts, I really enjoyed that! Anyway though, if you consider that MKWII has 18 ultra shortcut (which are all crazy), 11 glitch shortcuts, and 6 of those belong to tracks that don't have an ultra yet, so that only 8 of all the 32 tracks can only be completed as intended (theoretically just 1 of them doesn't have any glitch, but now I'm considering useful glitches, therefore shortcuts), and obviously many "Nintendo shortcuts", plus every year some new glitch and ultra shortcuts are discovered, I think you can't even compare MK8 with MKWII when it comes to shortcuts... Anyway, even if I've never got the chance to play it, I still think MK8 is an amazing games (MK8 tracks are gorgeous, even if compared to MKWII's original ones, and it has many funny game modes, while MKWII has only the BaTtLe MoDe 😂) and I would like to give it a shot one day or another! P.S. I apologise for any English mistake, I'm Italian...

MK8 has pretty advanced shortcuts that consist generally doing a mini-turbo and jumping to the grass with that turbo to do a mushroom shortcut shroomless. But those shortcuts are pretty smalls ones and they are not even supossed to exist. Is basically the MK8 community which created them. Still, I think Nintendo created MK8 with other mentality. Still I feel quite dissapointed. That is a solid representation that Nintendo doesnt care about speedrunners and the most competitive players. That is bad because they are the people that play and enjoy their games the most.

You can get a ton of subscribers and I'm sure in partnership with youtube it can either supplement your income or even become a full time gig. I along with thousands of others I'm sure, would love to learn how to play like that.

@@Starricane lots of them, such as the rainbow road ones, have too much air time, which you dont want, making it slower. Also, in 3lap runs some of them use more than 1 mushroom, which just isnt worth it
People should really put the names of the songs used in the video in the description. Not everyone knows every song just by hearing it; sometimes just hearing a song really resonates with someone, and when the description nor the comments have any of it named, it makes it basically impossible to find. Very frustrating.
