I followed the instuctions but unfortunately it did not solve my problem. It keeps giving the message "ended prematurely" when I try to install a specific program....
thank you so much bro! I don't know if i was the only one, but i could not change the windows installer from start to stop, it was on by default. The second step still worked perfectly tho!
Still works great. Just had to remote into a pc that was just running terrible and install wiz failing on a dental cam driver for an office i maintain and it also made it instantly run wayyy better as soon as I did the first commands. Thanks a lot.
And mine is greyed out so can't do anything with windows installer properties. I guess it didn't matter because the service was already running. This fixed my problem trying to install Perl. Thanks.
