Through mists of darkness, as with many in Lehi's dream, I was once lost, confused by the many interpretations of the Bible. So much was confusing. Then a friend shared her beliefs with me and missionaries shared the Book of Mormon. I initially rejected the Book of Mormon on the basis that I (erroneously) interpreted the Bible that there would be no more scripture after it. Reading from the Bible that year, I realized how false and unbiblical the idea of no more prophets or apostles was. God was merciful enough to soften my heart. Months later, I read the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints written by Gordon B. Hinckley. I was sad to read of the mistreatment of the Latter-day Saints on American soil. I felt the Holy Ghost again and again guide me to learn more. God witnessed to me by the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true, and Jesus Christ taught his pure doctrine personally and through prophets throughout its pages. I could not and would not argue with a witness from God. The truth is restored! Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Our Personal Savior. The Book of Mormon and the Bible together form an iron rod leading to Him!
I love how you shared your experience about overcoming the false teaching that there could be no more scripture or prophets. In my opinion, this one lie has got to be one of the advisary's most notorious, yet successful lies of all time. If I were the devil, that's exactly what I would want everyone to believe: that God can no longer speak to or inspire His children. Just imagine how many people have been kept from the truth just by this one false teaching! Although utterly illogical, the constant beating of this drum over centuries has fooled many; however, I think many are starting to see through this and are starting to be more open to the possibility of additional scripture especially as people learn how the Bible was compiled and translated.

This in itself should be evident that Joseph Smith devised the Book of Mormon: "Then the king, in closing the place, made it holy ... many men call it Nephi". (2 Nephi 5:8) There is example, after example using data science to link all the comparisons. In addition, Joseph Smith taught that the Book of Mormon was dictated directly from the Holy Spirit through seer stones. If so, how could so many many errors exist, including errors found in the KJV Bible appear in the Book of Mormon? Actual Bible scholars acknowledge this.
@@wesleyknight9971 We often think that both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are completely free from error, but the more I read both the more I realized both are given to us through imperfect people. They are beautiful pieces of scripture that change my life every morning as I read them. I'm grateful for them, I cannot imagine what my life would be like without the peace and guidance they give me.
Deeply touching! The Holy Ghost touched my heart as I watched this. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, as is the bible - as far as it is translated correctly. I pray that we can all shake off the cunning distractions and chains that the adversary carefully seeks to bind us with. What is most important in this life is to discover the truth regarding why we are here ,what it is that God wants us to understand and how He wants us to serve His children.
I felt him too what Nephi saw is true he saw our day. He saw Joseph who translated his book, he saw Joseph get the priesthood, he saw the Church being restored on Conference Day 1830, He saw his book being translated into the languages of the world, and he saw our missionaries delivering the book to his people. Nephi saw our day and I bear testimony it is true. now I have a better understanding of this weeks lesson in Come Fallow Me.
These video's are such a great teaching tool for those that have trouble understanding the scriptures. I not only feel the Spirit as I watch these movies, but each time I re-watch them I learn something more that the Lord would have me know at that time. I feel so blessed with the day that two missionaries showed up on my doorstep to share with me a message about Jesus Christ, and that I allowed them to come into my house to share their message. This church is truly the church of Christ and its teachings are of Christ, the Son of God and by watching these video's this knowledge comes to life.
So POWERFUL 🥰 I was just reading about this the other day 😊 It IS sad that I have seen more people allowing themselves to be led away from Jesus Christ's Gospel, and into fruitless, misleading, and downright DANGEROUS paths😥 It happened to me 45 yrs ago, and took 18 years to journey back. It happened once, and that was once too many! There are a LOT of false ideas that LOOK good, but they're put out by wolves in sheep's clothing. I'm ETERNALLY grateful for Jesus Christ's Atonement, and know that it's available to EVERYONE 💜 This video represents TRUE events, TRUE Revelations by TRUE servants of our Heavenly Father, and comes from the most TRUE church of which I belong: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 🤍🕊 I humbly invite those who are spiritually starved to come walk with Jesus Christ.. Thank you for your testimony, I’ve experienced similarly. One time is one time too many. I don’t want to fall for the illusions of the adversary again. I don’t want to swim in the depths of that filthy river, I know with the Lord’s help I can stay by the Tree of Life.
I'm thankful to be a disciple of Christ & to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! What a blessing, a comfort, & to have the guidance of the Holy Spirit! 😅to take Sacrament every Sunday! It's my privilege to have the responsibility of teaching 4 & 5 yr olds the gospel of Jesus Christ. The next generation of church leaders who will need & will have strong testimonies to stick to the path & lead is tumultuous times. I have one of the most important responsibilities that I ever have. I have 20 minutes to share important scriptures & ea child in my class stay focused on the lesson. They are valiant spirits!!
I’m not sure how much it cost to produce this video but to me it is worth a million times more. What a privilege to be called, Sisters and Brothers, to be part of the gathering of Israel and to be disciples of Christ. Each missionary who chooses to serve is a modern day miracle.
I started reading the Book of Mormon but i dont feel anything as English is my second language i could not understand very well, so i tried and tried and nothing happen until i discovered this in RUclips and im in tears watching this videos, i do understand very well and i even can relate to them. Its amazing how the Lord delivers you from any distractions and gives you clarity and understandings. I am grateful for this videos.
That’s incredible 🤔 I have had the opposite experience. When I read the Book of Mormon in English (my native language) I felt a little here and a little there, and some strong feelings. However, as I’ve learned Spanish and read in it, I feel so much more in response! It’s absolutely amazing 😭
My wife's the same way. Her first language is Tagalog. She speaks great English, but struggles with the old vocabulary in the English scriptures. One of the first things I did when she and I were married was that I ordered her a Tagalog Book of Mormon, and now we read together. She reads a chapter in her language out loud while I read silently in English. Then I read a chapter out loud. It's amazing.
My heart was touched my testimony strengthened as I watched this video. Just like everyone, I deal with my own struggles, short comings and failures. In watching video this I feel like I need to add my testimony of the Book of Mormon. Many years ago I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints In Japan. My testimony was true then, but it is so much stronger now. I have tasted the fruit that Lehi spoke of. I have also wandered in the mists of darkness at times. I have given into temptation. My Testimony is that God love us all. He forgives us when we ask, repent, and turn to him. Find the Iron Rod and hold tight.
Nephi Simply Wanted to Better Understand the Things his Father Spoke of, and He Ended up Gaining More Wisdom and Knowledge than he could have Expected.
I literally had tears streaming down my face watching this, not a first but all of a sudden the spirit touched my heart and the tears started. This is how I know the gospel is true. This is how I know Jesus Christ is the lamb of God.

There are so many connections and the Spirit of God testifies to me time and time again that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true which is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

@norsk-dougbert I was wondering why they skipped to the end of The Book of Mormon when they had been doing the videos for the beginning of the book. But now it makes sense. I do wonder why they didn't have the actor who portrayed Jesus in the Bible videos portray Him in the Book of Mormon videos.
I am very grateful for this it makes everything so vivid about what Nephi saw and I have felt the Spirit bear witness it is true. Jesus Christ is my Saviour and sweet is His name.
Nephi saw things that very few of God's children saw or even knew about. What a marvelous vision! He knew it was true and would come to pass. This is why he was so diligent in keeping the records of plates. He knew that would be vital in preparing God's children for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are so thankful for the diligence Nephi, Mormon, Moroni and other Nephites for preserving what is now the Book of Mormon
How amazing it would be to see the vision of the Tree of Life! And perhaps I have, in some ways, seen small glimpses of this vision. I remember about 20 years ago seeing a drawing of the Tree of Life that I had never seen before and being filled with the spirit and with immense love for others as well as intense sadness for those falling away from the Word of God.
How visions or when God or the Spirit speaks to you is always interesting how it is portrayed in a video or movie because those things happen inside of a person, but it has to be conveyed to outside viewers what is going on.
President Nelson taught: “We live in the day that our forefathers have awaited with anxious expectation. We have front-row seats to witness live what the prophet Nephi (from the Book of Mormon) saw only in vision, that ‘the power of the Lamb of God’ would descend ‘upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory... You, my brothers and sisters, are among those men, women and children." In 1974, Russell M. This church has before it many close places through which it must pass before the work of God is crowned with victory. To meet the difficulties that are coming it will be necessary for you to have knowledge of the truth of this work for yourselves. The difficulties will be of such character that the man or woman who does not possess this personal knowledge or witness will fall. If you have not got the testimony, live right and call upon the Lord and cease not ‘till you obtain it. Do not give up hope. The vision of the Tree of Life, and the Savior's parables are true. Things are going to get wierder and worse before it gets better. Gen 1.5/gen 2 quantum computers as primary thing that comes to mind. But never give up hope. Three key things, among others Continuing revelation from Living prophets Patriarchal Blessing and exactly following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, continually keeping a song in your heart. I am far from perfect, but speak as one who knows these things are true and help in dark times The works of God continue snd worlds and lives abound... improvements and progression have one Eternal round. We are all given gifts of the Spirit and can bless each others' lives. Absolutely nobody here in mortality is alone. 2 Kings 6: "15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." Miracles happen and the Lord is very mindful of His people. Heavenly Father is the #1 person to seek when trying to find lost stuff, and answers. Opposition in all things does not necessarily mean equal opposition. Not all who wander are lost. (J.R.R. Thank you for these. If it weren't for me choosing to read the Book of Mormon as a teenager, I don't know if I would have ever come to care to know about God. Because I did read it and ask God about it, I had a life-changing experience with God that sent me on a course to learn more about Him. Since then I've studied the Bible and the words of modern-day Prophets and Apostles in the Church of Jesus Christ and have found Him doing His work in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He does it among other true followers as well, but His intent is to gather all into one body. No more divisions, factions, sects, denominations, etc. All under Him in His latter-day kingdom; "the stone cut out of the mountain without hands." (Daniel 2:44). I'm so grateful for God's word in the Book of Mormon and it's additional and clarifying witness of who God is and what His work is, so that we can "come to the knowledge of [our] redeemer and the very points of His doctrine, that [we] may know HOW to come unto Him and be saved." (1 Nephi 15:14).

What an excellent video! It makes me think more about what it must've been like for Nephi to see all of that... Wonderful and terrible things. It can't be easy. Gives me greater appreciation for Nephi.
I am currently in medical school with a small family. It can be a little overwhelming trying to be a good husband, father, and student. It is crazy how easy the world can encroach in our personal lives when we fail to seek divine guidance. But I have found solace and strength in these videos and am truly grateful to have them as a personal resource that invites revelation. Additionally, I am also grateful for all those who share their testimonies on these videos. It brings an eternal sense of belonging and joy when I read how others are trying to live their faith.
I, too, love these inspiring videos. Keep trying and don't give up. Give your problems to your Heavenly Father and He will help you. God loves all His children. He doesn't forsake us but sometimes we forsake Him.
I also was a father of small children while attending medical school (we graduated with 4 kids, 5th was born shortly after I received my MD, and two more after residency…now we have a posterity of 20! It was all so worth it! Stay faithful and true to your covenants. Love your dear wife, who is also sacrificing. The Lord will bless you. The Book of Mormon is true. The Book of Mormon truly is a gift from heaven that we should be grateful for. I love Jesus Christ and His message is at the very core of the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

I am forever Greatful for the true Gospel in my life, which I served wholeheartedly, I know that these videos are provided in a simple way like symbols that was used by our Saviour to teach His disciples in those early days. I know that the Gospel is true, I so testify,that the Book of Mormon is another Testament of Jesus Christ help meet our needs for our day, as we all see so many challenges come our way, this Book will help us come close to our Saviour Jesus Christ and helps us of our day to day challenges. So touched by the Spirit. When I saw the part that shows our day in Nephi's vision, I couldn't stop the tears, to see and to know that I and many others I know, are part of the great story of the gospel of Jesus Christ and of the restoration of the fulness of it~
I have been blessed from the age of eight, through the gift of the Holy Ghost to now the Book of Mormon is true, that Jesus is the Son of God and that the Church and Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through Joseph Smith.

To think that like Nephi, we can inquire of the Lord and gain knowledge by the power of the Holy Ghost. Truly the mysteries of God can be unfolded unto the humble seekers of truth.
The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Nephi , his brother Samuel knew what Nephi did. This be key to me for I desire to know what Samuel knew , and he knew what Nephi knew. So as a child , I figured what Nephi knew was beyond my faith to understand. But I , found out by the record that Nephi kept his brother Samuel knew what Nephi knows and , because Samuel prayed to know what Nephi knew. So did I. In Jesus Christ name Amen.
From this video, I gained a new insight in the life of Nephi. He was young but very studious. He wanted to know and the Lord granted his desire in order to help him understand that he was going to make it to the promise land. I wonder if the Lord allowed the brothers to see the vision and the brothers attitude to the journey would be easier.
I believe that the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion ,and I know we can know the truth fullness of the gospel by reading and pondering about it.

I felt him too what Nephi saw is true he saw our day. He saw Joseph who translated his book, he saw Joseph get the priesthood, he saw the Church being restored on Conference Day 1830, He saw his book being translated into the languages of the world, and he saw our missionaries delivering the book to his people. Nephi saw our day and I bear testimony it is true. now I have a better understanding of this weeks lesson in Come Fallow Me.

These video's are such a great teaching tool for those that have trouble understanding the scriptures. I not only feel the Spirit as I watch these movies, but each time I re-watch them I learn something more that the Lord would have me know at that time. I feel so blessed with the day that two missionaries showed up on my doorstep to share with me a message about Jesus Christ, and that I allowed them to come into my house to share their message. This church is truly the church of Christ and its teachings are of Christ, the Son of God and by watching these video's this knowledge comes to life.

It happened to me 45 yrs ago, and took 18 years to journey back. It happened once, and that was once too many! There are a LOT of false ideas that LOOK good, but they're put out by wolves in sheep's clothing.

I'm thankful to be a disciple of Christ & to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! What a blessing, a comfort, & to have the guidance of the Holy Spirit! 😅to take Sacrament every Sunday! It's my privilege to have the responsibility of teaching 4 & 5 yr olds the gospel of Jesus Christ. The next generation of church leaders who will need & will have strong testimonies to stick to the path & lead is tumultuous times. I have one of the most important responsibilities that I ever have. I have 20 minutes to share important scriptures & ea child in my class stay focused on the lesson. They are valiant spirits!!
I’m not sure how much it cost to produce this video but to me it is worth a million times more. What a privilege to be called, Sisters and Brothers, to be part of the gathering of Israel and to be disciples of Christ. Each missionary who chooses to serve is a modern day miracle.

I started reading the Book of Mormon but i dont feel anything as English is my second language i could not understand very well, so i tried and tried and nothing happen until i discovered this in RUclips and im in tears watching this videos, i do understand very well and i even can relate to them. Its amazing how the Lord delivers you from any distractions and gives you clarity and understandings. I am grateful for this videos.
That’s incredible 🤔 I have had the opposite experience. When I read the Book of Mormon in English (my native language) I felt a little here and a little there, and some strong feelings.
However, as I’ve learned Spanish and read in it, I feel so much more in response! It’s absolutely amazing 😭
My wife's the same way. Her first language is Tagalog. She speaks great English, but struggles with the old vocabulary in the English scriptures. One of the first things I did when she and I were married was that I ordered her a Tagalog Book of Mormon, and now we read together. She reads a chapter in her language out loud while I read silently in English. Then I read a chapter out loud. It's amazing.
My heart was touched my testimony strengthened as I watched this video. Just like everyone, I deal with my own struggles, short comings and failures. In watching video this I feel like I need to add my testimony of the Book of Mormon. Many years ago I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints In Japan. My testimony was true then, but it is so much stronger now. I have tasted the fruit that Lehi spoke of. I have also wandered in the mists of darkness at times. I have given into temptation. My Testimony is that God love us all. He forgives us when we ask, repent, and turn to him. Find the Iron Rod and hold tight.

Nephi Simply Wanted to Better Understand the Things his Father Spoke of, and He Ended up Gaining More Wisdom and Knowledge than he could have Expected.
I literally had tears streaming down my face watching this, not a first but all of a sudden the spirit touched my heart and the tears started. This is how I know the gospel is true. This is how I know Jesus Christ is the lamb of God.
I witness that these events took place and are of God! I declare that the Book of Mormon is true.

There are so many connections and the Spirit of God testifies to me time and time again that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true which is found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I am very grateful for this it makes everything so vivid about what Nephi saw and I have felt the Spirit bear witness it is true. Jesus Christ is my Saviour and sweet is His name.
Nephi saw things that very few of God's children saw or even knew about. What a marvelous vision! He knew it was true and would come to pass. This is why he was so diligent in keeping the records of plates. He knew that would be vital in preparing God's children for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are so thankful for the diligence Nephi, Mormon, Moroni and other Nephites for preserving what is now the Book of Mormon
How amazing it would be to see the vision of the Tree of Life! And perhaps I have, in some ways, seen small glimpses of this vision. I remember about 20 years ago seeing a drawing of the Tree of Life that I had never seen before and being filled with the spirit and with immense love for others as well as intense sadness for those falling away from the Word of God.
So inspired ! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
We have front row seats to what Nephi saw in vision. We live in exciting times indeed.
How visions or when God or the Spirit speaks to you is always interesting how it is portrayed in a video or movie because those things happen inside of a person, but it has to be conveyed to outside viewers what is going on.
President Nelson taught:
“We live in the day that our forefathers have awaited with anxious expectation. We have front-row seats to witness live what the prophet Nephi (from the Book of Mormon) saw only in vision, that ‘the power of the Lamb of God’ would descend ‘upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory... You, my brothers and sisters, are among those men, women and children."
In 1974, Russell M. Nelson taught:
"Our duty is to raise up a generation of men and women worthy to receive the coming of the Lord. For he will come - to Jackson County, Missouri, to be sustained as King of Kings - and he will come also to Israel to be hailed as Lord of Lords. Then his millennial reign will be ushered in."
In 2022, Russell M. Nelson taught:
"One crucial element of this gathering is preparing a people who are able, ready, and worthy to receive the Lord when He comes again, a people who have ALREADY chosen Jesus Christ over this fallen world, a people who REJOICE in their agency to live the higher, holier laws of Jesus Christ. I call upon you, my dear brothers and sisters, to become this righteous people."
"The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do (see Doctrine and Covenants 86:1-7). Our safest insurance is to continue to be worthy of admission to His holy house...

But still there is a center place, a place where the chief temple shall stand, a place to which the Lord shall come, a place whence the law shall go forth to govern all the earth. … And that center place is what men now call Independence in Jackson County, Missouri, but which in a day to come will be the Zion of our God and the City of Holiness of his people. The site is selected; the place is known; the decree has gone forth; and the promised destiny is assured...” (A New Witness for the Articles of Faith [1985], 595).
Elder Heber C. Kimball described:
"...[For] the time is coming when we will be mixed up in these now peaceful valleys to that extent that it will be difficult to tell the face of a Saint from the face of an enemy to the people of God. Then, brethren, look out for the great sieve, for there will be a great sifting time, and many will fall; for I say unto you there is a test, a Test, a TEST coming, and who will be able to stand?
This church has before it many close places through which it must pass before the work of God is crowned with victory. To meet the difficulties that are coming it will be necessary for you to have knowledge of the truth of this work for yourselves. The difficulties will be of such character that the man or woman who does not possess this personal knowledge or witness will fall. If you have not got the testimony, live right and call upon the Lord and cease not ‘till you obtain it. If you do not, you will not stand…
Then the Prophet Joseph and others will make their appearance and those who have remained faithful will be selected to return to Jackson County, Missouri and take part in the building of that beautiful city, the New Jerusalem.”

The vision of the Tree of Life, and the Savior's parables are true.
Things are going to get wierder and worse before it gets better. Gen 1.5/gen 2 quantum computers as primary thing that comes to mind.
But never give up hope.

Continuing revelation from Living prophets
Patriarchal Blessing
and exactly following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, continually keeping a song in your heart.
I am far from perfect, but speak as one who knows these things are true and help in dark times
The works of God continue snd worlds and lives abound... improvements and progression have one Eternal round.
We are all given gifts of the Spirit and can bless each others' lives.
Absolutely nobody here in mortality is alone.
2 Kings 6:
"15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
Miracles happen and the Lord is very mindful of His people. Heavenly Father is the #1 person to seek when trying to find lost stuff, and answers.
Opposition in all things does not necessarily mean equal opposition.

Thank you for these. If it weren't for me choosing to read the Book of Mormon as a teenager, I don't know if I would have ever come to care to know about God. Because I did read it and ask God about it, I had a life-changing experience with God that sent me on a course to learn more about Him. Since then I've studied the Bible and the words of modern-day Prophets and Apostles in the Church of Jesus Christ and have found Him doing His work in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He does it among other true followers as well, but His intent is to gather all into one body. No more divisions, factions, sects, denominations, etc. All under Him in His latter-day kingdom; "the stone cut out of the mountain without hands." (Daniel 2:44).
I'm so grateful for God's word in the Book of Mormon and it's additional and clarifying witness of who God is and what His work is, so that we can "come to the knowledge of [our] redeemer and the very points of His doctrine, that [we] may know HOW to come unto Him and be saved." (1 Nephi 15:14).

I am currently in medical school with a small family. It can be a little overwhelming trying to be a good husband, father, and student. It is crazy how easy the world can encroach in our personal lives when we fail to seek divine guidance. But I have found solace and strength in these videos and am truly grateful to have them as a personal resource that invites revelation. Additionally, I am also grateful for all those who share their testimonies on these videos. It brings an eternal sense of belonging and joy when I read how others are trying to live their faith.

I, too, love these inspiring videos. Keep trying and don't give up. Give your problems to your Heavenly Father and He will help you. God loves all His children. He doesn't forsake us but sometimes we forsake Him.
I also was a father of small children while attending medical school (we graduated with 4 kids, 5th was born shortly after I received my MD, and two more after residency…now we have a posterity of 20! It was all so worth it! Stay faithful and true to your covenants. Love your dear wife, who is also sacrificing. The Lord will bless you. The Book of Mormon is true. This be key to me for I desire to know what Samuel knew , and he knew what Nephi knew.
So as a child , I figured what Nephi knew was beyond my faith to understand.
But I , found out by the record that Nephi kept his brother Samuel knew what Nephi knows and , because Samuel prayed to know what Nephi knew.
So did I.

From this video, I gained a new insight in the life of Nephi. He was young but very studious. He wanted to know and the Lord granted his desire in order to help him understand that he was going to make it to the promise land. I wonder if the Lord allowed the brothers to see the vision and the brothers attitude to the journey would be easier.
I believe that the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion ,and I know we can know the truth fullness of the gospel by reading and pondering about it.
