Jesus Christ Explains How He Will Gather Israel | 3 Nephi 20-23

- Jesus blesses and administers His sacrament to the people of Ancient America. The Lord teaches them they are a remnant of the House of Israel and will be gathered according to the covenant of the Father.
Jesus says He will establish the people in the land of the Americas and they will be brought to the knowledge of their Redeemer. He calls them the children of the prophets, the children of the covenant and the seed of Abraham.
3 Nephi 20: 1 - 25
1 And it came to pass that he commanded the multitude that they should cease to pray, and also his disciples. And he commanded them that they should not cease to pray in their hearts.
2 And he commanded them that they should arise and stand up upon their feet. And they arose up and stood upon their feet.
3 And it came to pass that he brake bread again and blessed it, and gave to the disciples to eat.
4 And when they had eaten he commanded them that they should break bread, and give unto the multitude.
5 And when they had given unto the multitude he also gave them wine to drink, and commanded them that they should give unto the multitude.
6 Now, there had been no bread, neither wine, brought by the disciples, neither by the multitude;
7 But he truly gave unto them bread to eat, and also wine to drink.
8 And he said unto them: He that eateth this bread eateth of my body to his soul; and he that drinketh of this wine drinketh of my blood to his soul; and his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled.
9 Now, when the multitude had all eaten and drunk, behold, they were filled with the Spirit; and they did cry out with one voice, and gave glory to Jesus, whom they both saw and heard.
10 And it came to pass that when they had all given glory unto Jesus, he said unto them: Behold now I finish the commandment which the Father hath commanded me concerning this people, who are a remnant of the house of Israel.
11 Ye remember that I spake unto you, and said that when the words of Isaiah should be fulfilled-behold they are written, ye have them before you, therefore search them-
12 And verily, verily, I say unto you, that when they shall be fulfilled then is the fulfilling of the covenant which the Father hath made unto his people, O house of Israel.
13 And then shall the remnants, which shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth, be gathered in from the east and from the west, and from the south and from the north; and they shall be brought to the knowledge of the Lord their God, who hath redeemed them.
14 And the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you this land, for your inheritance.
15 And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people-
16 Then shall ye, who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shall be in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be among them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
17 Thy hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
18 And I will gather my people together as a man gathereth his sheaves into the floor.
19 For I will make my people with whom the Father hath covenanted, yea, I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass. And thou shalt beat in pieces many people; and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. And behold, I am he who doeth it.
20 And it shall come to pass, saith the Father, that the sword of my justice shall hang over them at that day; and except they repent it shall fall upon them, saith the Father, yea, even upon all the nations of the Gentiles.
21 And it shall come to pass that I will establish my people, O house of Israel.
22 And behold, this people will I establish in this land, unto the fulfilling of the covenant which I made with your father Jacob; and it shall be a New Jerusalem. And the powers of heaven shall be in the midst of this people; yea, even eI will be in the midst of you.
23 Behold, I am he of whom Moses spake, saying: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people.
24 Verily I say unto you, yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have testified of me.
25 And behold, ye are the children of the prophets; and ye are of the house of Israel; and ye are of the covenant which the Father made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham: And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

3 Nephi 21:10 Look at the footnote for the Servant who is marred; the Lord will heal him and use him to help cleanse Zion and build New Jerusalem in preparation for the Lord to dwell with the saints there before His final Second Coming to the Jews, then to the world. In the meantime, continue to sustain and obey the living prophets who hold the keys of the kingdom.

I pray he come back soon. I am ready to meet him, and cannot think of anything more wonderful. I seek his clarity, and his teachings. I want all people to be able to hear him.
For two years as a missionary in Chile, I saw these prophecies fulfilled time and time again. I saw that the Savior reached out to those people of the house of Israel and, just like he promised here, restored them to the knowledge of their fathers, and his gospel, and showed them how to come to him and be saved. Thats one of the greatest evidences to me that the Book of Mormon is true: I’ve lived the prophecies that are written in it.
I learned from Come, Follow Me, Old Testament Jeremiah, that we are the remnant and are helping with the gathering of Israel, and that this great work is the work of the remnant returning! And it’s going to get even better! The gathering of Israel is happening and President Nelson has made us more aware of that! Great things are happening! Miraculous things, and I can hardly wait to see more miracles! It was so good, and I love this actor, and I’m amazed at his ability to memorize all this scripture! I love who they got to play Jesus Christ!
In watching Nephi's experience where the vision was shown unto him explaining the experience his father Lehi shared with them earlier, I marveled at the manner in which it was presented and having a testimony of it myself, my heart was touched, and tears came! It's done very well! When I inquired of the Father after reading the Book Mormon, He tested me, to see if I would wait until He answered my prayer, as promised in the last chapter of the Book of Mormon. For after waiting about 5 to 10 minutes, He kept His promise, and I was visited, shown, and instructed concerning the Book of Mormon! It's True!
Well, whoever they found to play The Lord certainly did a good job, but can you imagine memorizing all of that scripture? Great job! My accolades for the film crew as well.!

This was great. But why take out Christ’s warning to the Gentiles if they don’t repent? 3 Nephi 20:15 “And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people-

I also love the book of Mormon,the movie brought tears to me eyes.when I studied come follow me , matthew 11: 30 for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. no answer came to me . at times it seems the opposite.ill have to pray more about it before bedtime.

Sincere Feedback to Movie Staff: Thank you for this wonderful series. I love these videos but there are two concerns I have. Please consider the Robe that Jesus wears. It appears so modern and unnatural for their time. The pictures we see of Him have a naturally woven robe that seems consistent with His time and people. This robe has pleats and would require a modern sewing machine to make and an ironing board.
Second; the bright blue plastic covers in the background seem out of place for the time. Maybe this was an oversight but it distracts from a wonderful film. Thanks for these wonderful films.
This is after his Resurrection and Ascension into Heaven, it's supposed to look different.

Can someone explain the representation of the Jesus in this bringing each person forward? What is trying to be said in doing that?
It's the Gathering of all to Christ.
I think partly it was a way of reaching out to the youth. It was also a way to break up the rather long monologue. I think it worked well.
I learned in the Come Follow Me this year, and Jeremiah I think it was, that we are the remnant of Israel! We are participating in the gathering of Israel! We are the remnant that shall return! And we are helping others to return to the house of Israel!
I think he was trying to represent Gentiles versus House of Israel, the boy was House of Israel and the girl was a gentile and then the scriptures was the record that the Gentiles would bring to the house of Israel
I see you had to put some dark skinned people in so this didn't look like a documentary of the Germanic Tribes lol
