When I was a teenager in seminary, the Holy Ghost testified to me by His power that the brother of Jared truly did see the Lord Jesus Christ. I also humbly testify that these things are true, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I had the awesome opportunity to play the part of Wife of Jared. Though I had a small roll, my experience working with the other actors, cast and crew was something I’ll never forget. This beautiful story of Faith and enduring to the end has strengthened my testimony. ❤

This is incredible! This is one of my favorite stories in the Book of Mormon. The symbolism of the light in the vessels, and the symbolism of the barges being submerged in the sea, but nothing could harm them. I am so moved by their complete faith as they "commended" themselves unto God. May we each commend ourselves unto God, and let him lead us to our promised land!
Such a moving story about the nature of God and how He helps us through our problems. For the air, He told them the solution, but for the light He asked for their input. God will sometimes tell us the answers and we simply have to follow His instructions, but other times He’ll give us the opportunity to solve the problem for ourselves and show His approval by pouring down blessings on the path we chose.
This has become one of my favorite accounts from the Book of Mormon. Jesus Christ is real, and faith in Him can work mighty miracles. Someday I hope to meet the brother of Jared.
I have always felt a connection to the people like Nephi and the Jaredites on their journey towards the promised land. Their faith to endure incredible trials for the promise of land they didn’t know even existed is incredible. They didn’t know that they would survive if they set out across the seas, yet they knew God and trusted in the promise. There is simmering we can all learn from that. Amazingly done everyone! This was beautiful. It’s great to see some of my favorite verses of scripture and their stories bright to life.
This is a magnificent portrayal. Words are hard to find to express how this has affected me since watching it. I am humbled. Thank you for all of the Book of Mormon videos that have been produced. They have been faith building and brought great understanding. ❤

Makes me appreciate even more the role of the prophet Moroni in the coming forth of this great work- culminating in his assigned ministry to the prophet Joseph. I KNOW that the accounts, teachings and doctrine contained in this sacred scripture are for us in these Latter days because of our loving and merciful Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We’re counseled by modern prophets and apostles to ask ourselves, “how does what’s taught in this sacred book apply to us in our very circumstances; and can help us overcome trials of our own in faith- like these individuals depicted here? Many thanks for these great presentations!

The brother of Jared came from the manoan culture. In the manoan culture the beehive was reveared and they used the behive as the design theme of their tombs. The beehive being a sign of life and death in the manoan culture is so fitting for Utah.

Wonderful!❤ Many important principles are taught in Ether. I really love how a man could have such faith in Jesus Christ. I've learned a lot from this scripture. The brother of Jared, his family, and friends had to work hard during those years, but the Lord never abandoned them. Following our Savior Jesus Christ with that kind of faith is what we should desire and live everyday
He knew his scripture about the light (a glowing stone/window) the Lord had placed in Noah's Ark and exercised faith in the Lord’s unchangeable nature, trusting the Lord to do the same for him. I always love the story of the brother of Jared, when I was still a non-member when I read it for the first I was amazed with faith he had that the spiritual body of Jesus Christ cannot be hidden from him. Oh i wish i have a faith like he had. May God bless me with more faith and love for i am also a wicked man and has many weaknesses. Oh Lord Jesus Christ i trust and love thee. I love the design choice they made for the Jaredites and also of Mahonri Moriancumer, the brother of Jared. The Barges which they travel in are well made as well. I can't wait for the rest of the Book of Mormon Videos to come forth. Edit: I only watched a portion of it when I typed what was above. to about as they were building the barges. these are now the words which I type after finishing the video. I have to say that this was better than I could have imagined. having a different people, which I didn't realized till they arrived to the promise land, just makes it so much more. that they truly cared and felt the spirit while making it.

A few of us were wondering how come the Jaredites didn't stay and fight and defend against the threats to their safety, culture, peace, religion, and prosperity like captain moroni and his crew did when they faced similar threats?! Do you think there's a window of time that opens up to a people in order for them to safely leave their homes and material attachments, and without casualties, before it becomes worse like it did with Captain moroni's people where they felt they were so attached that couldn't leave these things behind, having several thousands of casualties?!
