Before covid I was paying a cool 20 with a 5 dollar tip, came back for regular lineups after the pandemic and the price bumped up to 35 no matter what shop I went too. I have dreads now and at least 3k extra along with god knows how much hours I could have wasted there

The longer you go to the same barber the worse the service get. My barber literally asked me to ride with him to Walgreens one day before the cut when I was just trying to be in and out.
Yeah I used to get pissed when I had to go to the black barber. It was just a social event for everyone involved minus you, then pay 50$ after. I don't like Supercuts either though. They want 25$ for a 15 minute haircut and they would try everything in the book to drag the cut out. I just cut my own fade now and use a straight razor for the lines.
This is the equivalent of going to a salon and allowing yourself to go to the wash bowl for a wash knowing full well there’s about 4 other wet heads ahead of you. Sun up to sun down kinda day.
