Let’s not play the blame game with the crusades. I have immense respect for Islam and the Arab world but the crusades were definitely provoked by repeated Arab/Muslim invasions into Europe. Keep in mind though that I’m not saying the crusades were justified, rather understandable. And both Christians and Muslims took it too far at certain points.
