Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.... Finally something meaningful for a middle-class family. Best realtor by far Clear, honest, precise and accurate... Ty🙏
@@MakingHoustonHome Indeed, hopefully before the end of the year. Woodlands, Woodlands Reserve, Conroe, Cypress... and surrounding areas are good options. Your detailed videos perfectly addressed some of my concerns regarding location and accessibility. Ty🙏
Just watched your first video. Awesome Job! Love how you shared your So Cal experience and explain how Houston compares.... will be watching for more of your videos... U still got the Cali Luv Vibe...
I think I saw another RUclips channel cover Grainger Pines. Really liked the prices for what you get. So glad they still have a lot of inventory and are still offering incentives.
Yeah depending on which area. I drove from Katy (far west Katy) back to my house in Kingwood during prime traffic yesterday. It was a 67 mile drive and took me an hour and 20 minutes. For me that’s not bad at all, comparing to Los Angeles/Orange County CA where I’m from. Driving 67 miles in prime traffic time in Southern California would be 2 hours at best.
Also - for ppl who have been here for 20+ years….anywhere in Houston takes at least 30 minutes to get to and that’s being nice. To be 30 miles from the beltway is 😮💨
I get that. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, so anything inside of an hour and a half commute is awesome to me lol. I lived 35 miles from my work in LA and it would take me 2 hours to get home 😫
I love your videos ! Very informative. You evidently put a lot of thoughts to it. Makes me want to buy now. But I have to wait till September to receive my retirement approval. I wish I can move now and that’s the perfect price range for retirees like me- very affordable but nice homes in perfect location with plenty of things to do and explore - also very close to the airport. I wish you make a video to cover retirees on the Hundo Club using VA , zero down Home Loans.
A great custom builder is Partners in Building. They have an entire “build on your own lot” division. I’m actually building a home with them now, heading out to their design center today with my clients to select all of their interior finishes.
It’s definitely one of the more popular areas that I’m seeing people move to. Now that The Woodlands is completely built out (and expensive), Conroe is the next best option to find a decent priced home and still be within a reasonable commute to The Woodlands.
I am a realtor in the Houston area that works with these builders. They are building on the Southwest side of Houston. Feel free to reach out to me at rene@makinghtxhome.com if you’d like more information.
What was that door at the bottom of the stairs? It would be good if you start in order from the main door do the entire bottom floor including the master bedroom. When you go up then down again it’s not very good showing. I think no bathtub especially for a master bedroom is a huge mistake.
The door at the bottom was a coat closet. The bathtub thing is funny because there are people that are adamant about not having a tub, and others that absolutely have to have one. The builders will try to accommodate by having different options.
Absolutely not, this is not a commercial for toothpaste. Just skip the parts you don't like; we need all these information before making such a large purchase or even considering it as a meaningful option. Ty🙏

Hey I appreciate that! I’ll always have a soft spot for Cali but H-Town is definitely home now. Thanks for the support!

Right, you definitely get the most bang for your buck with the houses. Plenty of more inventory coming too as they build it out.
Houston has really grown - 40-45 miles out isn’t bad in other major metros

Love the prices and your videos Rene
Thanks a ton!! 👍🏽
The last house is beautiful and I love the Floorplan definitely something I could afford
It’s a great builder with some nice floor plans. Definitely one of the most affordable areas in North Houston.

If you ever run across this street: Kykendahl it’s pronounced Kirk n doll. The Texans get real upset if we mispronounce this unusual named street! 😂❤
🤣 I’ve had a dozen people correct me on how to pronounce it and I still get it wrong 🤷🏽♂️
@@MakingHoustonHome don’t feel bad! It took me awhile before I got it right!!! 😀
Don't forget Humble.
@@c-mobucks4930lol yep! I was corrected a few times when I first moved here because I pronounced the “H”
Thanks for such a great video 🙏🏻
Of course!! I appreciate the feedback!! 👍🏽

Keep those videos coming.
Will do!! I appreciate the support!
Man I'm trying to get out there man my wife holding me up
I wish I did not have to build, but I do not want HOA.
Which builder will built custom home on my lot in Richmond TX?
A great custom builder is Partners in Building. They have an entire “build on your own lot” division. I’m actually building a home with them now, heading out to their design center today with my clients to select all of their interior finishes.
How much is the property tax?
Property tax rate is about 3.1%.
Conroe gives me so much pause. I guess because of what it used to be. But alot of ppl are loving to conroe

Okay so I missed the price of the last model home. Can you provide?
The last model home with the high ceilings is priced about $273k
Very very Nice....
Yes, great homes in a great location! 👍🏽

Is there a pool?
No this community doesn’t have a pool. There’s a park and a little splash pad.
