Nice job. I really struggle with the bass drum part in this song. It seems so simple but my foot always rushes it too fast, I can't keep it in tempo. Any tips?

It is a pretty challenging pattern! I would suggest some independence exercises focussing on the right foot and right-hand relationship.

Page 11 & 12 - hand plays bottom line (on ride cymbal) foot plays top line (bass/kick drum).
Move on to do the whole of the 48 bar exercise on page 33 of the pdf (32 on the book)
