    Would love to see a similar video but starting from scratch (no replacing an existing fixture), with steps on how to drill a new opening, how to feed new electrical wires into breaker box, etc. Great videos!

    I have the same two screwdrivers, the flat Craftsman and the yellow Phillips, what a coincidence.

    Nice and helpful video. Just curious what size hole saw did you use, 4”, 4 1/4? Thank you in advance!

    Helpful video! Any idea on what to do if there is gap when screwing the new ring mounting plate onto the bracket? Seems that the screws from the bracket do not allow for the plate to mount flush. TYIA

      If you can send me a picture of the problem I'll try to help. Do you think shorter screws would work?

      @@getitdonehomerepair appreciate the follow up! I wound up ditching the metal bracket and used wood screws to mount the plate directly to the wall.

    I installed this the exact same way but the ring camera won't turn on. I have the wires color matching and everything. Not sure what I'm doing wrong...unless there's no power running through the wires no more

      @getitdonehomerepair  Год назад

      If you connected the wires correctly black to black and white to white. You may want to check if there is power in the wires and that the wires under the wire nut are making good contact.
