Thank you for this. I am going on my first cruise and also on the Epic, also for a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean in January '25. These videos are giving me a great idea on what to expect and do.
I love how authentic you and your husband are! Great videos for us "average cruisers". Thank you. Keep it real! I found your video helpful to plan my upcoming Epic sailing. 😊
I really appreciated how you broke down the journey from before the cruise started all the way to the Skyy Vodka Ice Bar Experience and the Abbey Road Beatles Show. It's great seeing all the unique spots and experiences aboard. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for sharing this amazing experience with us
The boarding process look smooth and efficient, the ambiance of cruise is amazing, top deck is always fascinating to have excellent views and enjoy the weather. Swimming pool is cherry on top. Thanks for the tour.
O'sheehans pub looks pretty cool. The Sailaway party looks great, cloudy sunsets can still give a great vibe. The sky ice bar looks like a lot of fun. Very nice. What a great start to the cruise.
Wow! It looks like you guys had a blast on your first day. So many drinks and even a little dancing. Plus, the Sky Lounge looked like such a unique activity as well. Looks like it's going to be an awesome cruise.
Aww this episode brought back so many fun memories on the Epic 💕 we didn't do the ice bar when we sailed, but I think we should have, it looked so fun!
The resort before looked awesome. I love the pool. Embarkation day always seems hectic, especially for the crew. I've had offers for working on cruise ships before but, never took them.
The boarding process was pretty efficient with Norwegian. Everything went so smoothly. Glad you were able to get to the top deck and still have a space for the sail away. And I have been to an ice bar before so I know that cold feeling lol. But still enjoyable.
What time did you opt to arrive at the port, and how long did you actually have to wait to board after going through security? We opted for an early arrival on our last cruise out of New Orleans, but still were waiting in the terminal for a couple of hours before we were able to board. Looks like Port Canaveral has their act together a bit more...
Our arrival time was 10:00 and we got there early due to our shuttle time. We waited for about an hour. Very nice terminal though and plenty of seating unlike some other terminals we've been to.
@@TheAverageTourist Thanks for the info. We're cruising on the same ship out of Port Canaveral in January of 2025, and with it being my sister and brother-in-laws first cruise I'm trying to help make their experience as smooth as possible.
Yes we did like the escalator!! I thought the bars seemed too crowded together and also not enough staff. And also not enough space on pool deck and not enough bars to disperse the lines. Don't start me on the weird cabins either 🤣🤣
First thing to do on the ship is to get a drink! 🍻
After getting to your muster station. Safety first 🤣🤣
Just don’t forget to keep up with the emulation news. :D glad you had a great trip.

Awesome, glad to hear they were helpful. Hope you have a great cruise.

The process of boarding reminds me a lot of flight travel, that’s pretty cool how that cruise ship has a bar, food and pool
Yes it's similar. And lots of lines too 🤣

Great to see how the whole boarding proces goes. I have never been to a cruise, so it's great to get an inside view!
Wow popcorn shrimp looked delicious.
The process looks smooth
Wow its a huge terminal looks really quick.
Great information

No salsa dancing over here, but a little two stepping we can handle 🤣
Hello “The Average Tourist”! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful video! I feel so happy! I look forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
Thank you so much!
The pool before boarding the cruise looks nice. That was a smooth boarding.
Aww this episode brought back so many fun memories on the Epic 💕 we didn't do the ice bar when we sailed, but I think we should have, it looked so fun!
The ice bar was pretty fun. We enjoyed the cruise, although the ship wasn't our favourite.
Great overview taking us along! That boarding process looked so speedy, we never have that luck when cruising!
Thanks!! It was very streamlined.

How much was the resort per night?

The boarding process was very simple on this cruise. We thought it was the best boarding we've had. The ice bar was so fun!
@@TheAverageTourist that’s awesome!
Thank you for this video. I am looking forward to my cruise next week. 😊
Have a great time!
seemed like a pretty smooth process, even if the seas weren't so smooth lol! :)
Another informative video! Thanks for sharing! 😄
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome vdo! May I ask what hotel/resort you stayed prior the cruise? Thanks!
Enjoyed it again.

It really was very smooth. And arriving early meant we could walk up to any staff member to check in. No lines at all. Enjoy your cruise!
Was the bathroom out in the open in the room?
Yeah kind of with a thin glass door. I did a room tour of our balcony cabin before this one if you want to check it out for more details.
Mustard station I'm pretty sure it's mustard station
Ha that's what Alan calls it.
Nice video
Thank you!
Great video as always guys!
👍 💯 #stuffthosebags
The ice bar was awesome!
Thank you!!🙌
Definitely was fun - but chilly 🥶
i love NCL and have been on over a dozen NCL cruises.
the epic is not my thing.
We haven't been on that many with Norwegian, but agree. Probably our least favourite ship.
@@TheAverageTourist everything is just off...I don't know how to put it just...off (although the escalator was cool).
