hello , miss Margot, toujours des covers de légendes!! dont les BYRDS , tres beau remake avec le feeling byrds, je me goinfre de tes reprises . merci Margot de nous faire revivre , ces epoques de musiques. 💖jackyfan👍👏
Thanks so much for this great cover and for keeping Geno's memory alive. I am over 70 now but his music lives on in my heart every day. You have a wonderful voice and a lotta talent!
On touche au sublime !!! Tout est merveilleux : le chant, la musique, le son, la vidéo, le studio ... On passe un très bon moment !! Vivement la suite !!!
Margot, I’m so glad I found your channel! You are in the pocket, girl. I’ve been texting your stuff to The Drummer (my hubby) who is a lifelong funk&blues guy. He said, “Mercy.” That’s the best compliment. XOjennyinseattle (Bookworm)
Great cover Margot....you always do you original songs and the covers with so much respect and justice, I love that! Great song by Gene Clark, and played by the Byrds...who got it out there, and of course Tom Petty...who did an awesome version. You always get your facts spot on, and I appreciate that! This song sounds amazing, by the way!!!
The Byrds were mostly folk musicians who, like everyone else, heard tbe Beatles and immediately steered their ship towards that point. Now that fusion of folk, British Invasion and sunny California has once more traveled across the ocean and landed this time in France to have another breath of inspiration brought into it and we're all better for it.
I had to listen to it three times before I could calm down enough to write this ! I'm a huge fan of the original Byrds, the 12 string jingle jangle drove me crazy from the first time I heard it. Here you really blew me away. (3 times). You doubled up on the 12 string !!! Like I said before, you make your covers sound better than the originals. This is awesome, babe ! OK, now I've heard it 8 times !
Fantastic version Margot! First time discovering your music and you right here right now at 4:00 p.m. Saturday December 29th 2023. I'm following you going forward. Great job on this classic!
Love this Margot! You really nailed the tone perfectly. I love that janglely electric 12. Very nice to have all of the other instruments as well. Excellent thank you!
Je n'ai connu les Byrds qu'en janvier 2011 et cette chanson ainsi que The world turn all around her (également de Gene Clark)ont été tout de suite mes deux préfèrées (j'ai connu un peu plus tard Have you seen her face de Chris Hillman également bell musique) 28/11/2013 14h14.
Boy oh girl, you’re really pushing some serious air into that mike - don’t know who set up your microphone arrangement this time but keep on doin what’re your doing - you are delivering some really authority this time....

Yes, yes it is.
This is astonishing. You are doing songs that were popular 40, 50, or 60 years ago. Your version is fresh, clear, and beautiful. Well done!
Bravo Margot, you nailed the Solo Riffs superbly, and the Whole song , I love the Byrds music since I was 17, and, that,s à Long Time ago.

@@waynesulatyski2430 LOL! Thanks for the correction! It has a nice jangle to it and the Byrds fan in me created it inaccurately!!
@@tantraman10 yes an honest mistake! Sounds great though. They are top of the line guitars.
It is a Duesenberg 12-string
Great performance, many thanks for this.
Great recroding/performance, you really nailed this one. As others said before: that electric guitar really is very nice, suits the song so well.
Encore des compliments .....j'aime le rythme ! Et les chanteurs !
