I heard Mr. Prechtel at several conferences where he was among several featured speakers. As you can hear, he is able to speak thousands upon thousands of words with sincerity, focus, and ease. He would graciously sit silent while others spoke. Every so often, the host Robert Bly would randomly turn to Mr. Prechtel and ask, "So what do you think about what was just said?" The answer would be a long, beautiful, and carefully considered response, making it clear that he had been listening to every spoken word. This ability to speak AND to listen surpassed anyone I have ever met.

Yes, you are justified, and then, on the other hand, he is bringing immense and wonderful things to people through these recordings. Maybe we should ask him...
David... You should understand something. ALOT of what is on the internet is STOLEN... As a musician I can tell you that it has allowed many of our way of living, the ways in which we have fed our families for decades. Music and music lessons, videos etc has DRASTICALLY transformed everything in our lives. MANY industries of instruction and people who make a living with what they do. While I do not know if this is or is not the issue with Chris, I can say one thing: if the creator of the material has not authorized it , it is NOT yours.. Just because something is valuable doesnt mean that you should have it,,,, for free and, at least, against the will of the creator. Also PLEASE dont buy into the idea that this kind of posting is to "help promote"... Promotion should lead to purchase... SAMPLES of bits are great but uploading ENTIRE recordings are just like giving complete meals for free... You know what its like when a restaurant or snack company gives a SAMPLE.... its intent is to share and allow people a bit of an understanding to desire more or not. I dont know if this talk is for sale but.... its NOT a sample. its the whole meal.. Please consider this perspective.. No one just HAS a right to peoples creations unless they authorize. Its not honorable to TAKE like this.. I do agree that these words are VERY valuable.. VERY... I dont know if he does or does not want this up but until I do I will listen and learn. If he does not want it on I will honor this great man...
