      Meaghan Beattie : )
      Here's a response to someone else but for you too Meaghan.
      ~Thank-you so much for this link. This Martin is so lovely. I believe what he is saying is so important, it is important for me. It is a song and also a teaching with some really important ideas. I am so grateful this came up, came into my life through Marcus’s vision and community.
      I get that my imbalance is mine to heal but not completely only caused by me and my weakness and blah blah blah. We have all inherited so much imbalance and grief. The First Nations FN people are showing us the way to reconcile and heal, not only because they still have a remnant or in Martin’s case a lot of the original healing way of humanity, but also because they have a strong and immediate need for healing which is not masked, casked and plastered over with distraction and intoxication the way ours in the mainstream is.
      I get that grieving is a skill, maybe the skill in art and music that I always sought and never found and never do find much in the music I hear these days. But when Martin sings just two seconds my heart is in my mouth and I can taste the grief and joy. Marcus, who could teach me that? Do you know? Can you? Maybe when you return?
      I get that our hyper-individualism is not a cure but rather kind of a symptom of the illness we collectively have. Alone in the crowd, feeling alone in our heartache, the heartache we all share but usually without seeing or hearing the other in their heartache, because as a community we shout and scream at football games and concerts but rarely, rarely cry for grief or joy together because as Martin says for some reason grief and joy are not cool! What’s up with that???
      I get that the ancestors are part of me, because by the Law of One all the separation is illusion anyway, optical illusion and spiritual illusion, time, space, distance and separation all tricks of light and shadow, just the light show. The ancestors are part of me because as Martin teaches when the grieving and joy-sounding aren’t done, then the sadness accumulates and is passed down to the next generation, and likewise to the generations after that. European people like my parents just by virtue of the centuries of warfare have so much grief being passed down, what we now can recognize as inter-generational trauma.
      Feeding the ancestors is feeding our selves and feeding everything and everyone, as the whole spiral winds back into the singularity in the central eye in the heart of Creator. All the trauma being healed backwards in time to the beginning of time, as our futures are increasingly dedicated to living from the heart where grief and praise are natural expressions of wonder and thanksgiving, until finally we are consumed in that, the little moth goes into the fire and emerges as a little puff of smoke, completely transformed into something elemental and energetic, completely free and fully out of its own way.
      So about that learning to grieve and to praise….
      : )
      Namaste!

    When I lost my first student and attended the funeral, I was alarmed by the gutteral howling of his mother, but thought that would be the response most healthy for more of the people; loosing such a great spirit as Jorge's to this reality is something to grieve and praise for having the chance to taking a few steps with him in this flesh.

    You know when I was born, the Doctors and Hospital cashier, gave a bill to my mom! This bill was $500,000,000.00 and my mom gave me back to the hospital, Catholic’s Social Services. So Now I know what I am worth!

    how does one go to a grief rituals ?

    • @MeaghanBeattiealagoogle
      @MeaghanBeattiealagoogle 5 лет назад +1

      No simple answer to that. In Vancouver I knew a man doing 'grief work' and got to experience some rituals. I would advise look up 'grief work' for your area, or look for group that support emotional expression and connection. I like the non violent communication community.

      yes, perhaps. Do you represent Mr. Martin Prechtel, or are you morally policing the internet? I understand he is intensively private and well protected by his entourage. Yes, you are justified, and then, on the other hand, he is bringing immense and wonderful things to people through these recordings. Maybe we should ask him...
