  • The backyard patch. I live in subtropical SE Queensland on a 800m2 block. This is a second year garden which I'm beginning to turn into a more self-sufficient permaculture style patch.
We have 4 chickens which we use to compost waste, fertilise the garden and collect eggs.
There's 5 garden beds in the patch - one long bed which mainly holds fruiting trees and herbs, three taller square beds for seasonal crops and the Banana/sweet potato bed.

Hey Dan :) You've definitely packed a heap of great food plants into your yard! Good mix of raised beds and pots. Looks like a very productive veggie garden well-done mate...

Nice looking patch Dan. I think if you turn your camera 90 degrees clockwise you will get a full screen video. Best wishes Bob.

BobMels Gardens thanks for the tips mate. I’ve made a new video at my new place! Of course, I flipped it 90 degrees this time :).

Still It yeah mate. Small suburban block to jam everything into! Brought most of the fruit trees to this block now.
