Ray was Big Time great!!! There are a lot of ppl that don't know anything about young Ray Allen and how crazy explosive he was. Could get buckets and he could take it the rack and elevate above you. Ended up being the key piece to a Celtics ring and a ring in Miami. Neither squads win it without him. Loved watching him from his UConn days vs A.I and Kerry Kittles. Shuttlesworth was the real truth!

Ray Allen and Reggie Miller are the top 2 shooters of all time.. In a league where man on man defence was tough these guys would get their shots against Pipen and Jordan. I can’t imagine players today.. Harden and Steph, getting 3s like these guys did. The only time I will compare eras is when it comes to 3point shots

Every team had at least 1 guy who was capable of going for 50 on any night, and a 7 footer in the 90s. Now maybe 10 players total can do that any time they want and no real centers. It's a watered down league, no wonder chicks think wnba players can play with men.

I remember when he was in middle school and used to come to the gym @ Shaw A. F. B. to get some runs (his pops was A. F.) and his dad used to whisper to us not to cut him any slack and he would play hard for a young kid and never backed down, he was good but we didn’t know he was NBA good until the next summer and he got taller. I was around my early twenties or late teens so he was maybe ten or twelve years old. Believe me when I say he earned his spot because his dad had him working hard every day that summer and he loved it.

Ray Allen was a phenomenal player. He was the complete package. I never got to watch him when he played for Milwaukee but will never forget how amazing he was on the Sonics. The man was an assassin on the baseline with those nasty two-handed dunks. My favorite Allen game was when he cooked the Raptors and made Vince Carter quit. The 2000s was great because many players developed their niche and excelled in their own unique way.
