I was going to try this today but then realized that two junior chickens and two packs of Big Mac Sauce was cheaper (at least in my area) than the Chicken Big Mac itself.
Well what they should of done was use two junior chicken patties and not the Mcchicken patties, the McChicken patty is just a big nugget Edit: the junior chicken patty is more seasoned and is more popular compared to tht big Chicken nugget they call the Mcchicken

Fyi: Get the Crispy Chicken sandwich. It is an actual chicken breast, not just "pressed chicken meat". Order it without the mayo, Big Mac sauce instead. It's quite tasty!

I had a few people saying it tastes like a big McNugget. I would leave this alone and bring back the Grand Big Mac- It was in the range of the same price of this Chicken Big Mac. The onions on the Big Mac and the cheeseburger are not fresh, they are some reanimated type. They are mild tasting. The Quarter Pounder has real fresh onions. They are completely different tasting. I think the fresh ones would be better with chicken.

Just tried it ! Takes 3 bites to taste it,after i'd say it's not bad ,but the end is where you realise it's a fail ! The only thing positive i would add is you dont taste all the salt of the beef in the original big mac ,and it's good ! But ,another comment said it would be better with the mc chicken patty ,and only mayonnaise, i agree ! First and last ! 😉
The McDonald’s I used to go to in highschool used to let me order a Big Mac and replace the beef pattys with jr chicken patty’s and it tasted waaaay better than this. Was so disappointed by this sandwich :(
I feel like I'm one of the few souls who knew that the only proper way to have a Chicken Big Mac was to ask for a mayo and removal of the pickles (also sometimes, you need to reduce the lettuce because it's too much), especially as this is an item that was available for a long time in several countries (usually called the Chicken Mac, but it is also called the Chicken Big Mac). Simply just changing the beef to chicken isn't really enough in my opinion.
I'm in Toronto (Toronto chef for Mc Donalds help release this and I don't believe onions are included from what I read) and a couple friends tried it and they didn't like it. I also noticed the chicken is breaded so along with 3 pieces of bread, that is a lot of bread so it doesn't appear to work compared to a regular big mac. I won't be trying it.
I tried this yesterday because I wanted to see if it was good and I saw billboard ads of it lol. After eating, I’m probably going to stick to Big Macs as I am a fan of them.
If you want a quality chicken sandwich like this get Mary Brown's. It's like $10 with tax but so worth, bro got one last night and I couldn't believe how stacked it was. Actually Mary Brown's is just high quality in general so happy one finally opened up near me (RIP KFC)
I think it would've been way better with the Jr chicken patty instead. It was so flavorless, the sandwich immediately tries to fall apart, and if you don't eat it right away, the sauce makes the breading on the chicken pretty soggy. had so much potential but was not good.

The chicken patty is ....thin and rubbery...I got another one to make sure I just didnt get a dud....nope just not a good burger. Just get a Junior Chicken and ask to swap out the mayo for Mac Sauce..I bet it would be better!

McChicken is made from some ground up white substance. The Crispy Chicken sandwich seems to have some real chicken in the pattie, you can actually see it. It has a funny taste, some people might not like it.
Why doesn't mcdicks ever come out with a half decent real cut of chicken filet for their burgers?? All their chicken is that meat paste crap, but competitors like BK and Wendy's all use real cuts of chicken. Yes a well made McChicken does taste inexplicably good but it's still not "real" chicken imho

Interesting concept but all I could think was it's gonna be dry without a lot of the Big Mac sauce oozing out. There was nothing under the top bun so that had to be dry. I think your "one and done" is right. I may try it to say I had one, but that'll be it. Great price point, though.

I am surprised they did not out onions on there. If it is a true Big Mac, that is exactly what it needs! Maybe you need to make your own on your next LIVE. You can get the Big Mac sauce now, so you should be ready to go! You can add your own onions and make the chicken patty really good as well. That would be cool to watch. I did have high hopes for this as well. Sorry about that. I guess it is hard to beat the OG. I wonder how a Fish Big Mac would taste. That would be fun to try as well. I think it was a different product that he reviewed last year, the chicken looked like actual chicken breasts. The "official" sandwich in this latest review has rectangular chicken product patties, like super McNuggets. Mechanically deboned chicken bits pressed into rectangular chicken presto logs.
I'm not surprised ... McDonald's never had a good chicken part for the sandwich ... if it like BK, popeyes and other similar places kind of chicken where it a whole chicken breast flatten a little and not butchered up like a large chicken nugget patty ... it would have been a hit

mac sauce re hydrated onions and lettuce always went under the patty, sometimes the pickles would be on top, but they're also usually underneath.
