Well, it's not news really. I mean, I voiced this character waay back and now they are just doing more add-ons and so they got me to do this guy again. It's news to my YT channel I guess. I've been doing this stuff for 14 years. ty!!
Well done my man. We love what you do. Please keep doing it. thats what she would have wanted. Keep Inspiring us share the love. As a great song writer once sang... don't look back in anger X
I already thought you were pretty cool but now I think you're even cooler than you were. Congrats on that gig Man. It's been a few since I've played Neverwinter. I'll have to see about picking it up again.
Hell yeah man. NICE. Something i've always wanted to do since i was a kid wanting to be a puppeteer on the Muppets. I talk to myself all day for 40 years in random animated voices. It's just part of my insane self. To land a gig like that. So happy for you.
How do people get these voiceover jobs? I used to do a lot of prank calls for people. I never tried to imitate anyone but I just made up voices with accents for the "character" I was supposed to be. I did it for a lot of people and often, but never got paid for it.....bummer.
I signed up for a website $100 per year and began auditioning. Spent 2 years auditioning and working on it till I was able to make enough to support myself. Then if you are decent enough, you will get repeat customers. I met Lani Minella about... 12 years ago and she liked my range of voices and she's helped me land jobs because she hires people to do big games like Star Trek Online and this one etc. Pay your $200/year and sign up on a voice acting website. Audition every day and don't give up for at least 2 years. Have a good microphone and good monitor speakers. Understand audio and how to post-process your voice. Learn what types of voice styles/sounds work for which jobs and find your bread-n-butter and then audition more of those. My success was that I didn't give up and I had a really good ear for audio and I was also able to alter my voice to sound very different then throw in accents... you can do it.
Hey! It’s a living. I knew that your versatility would be recognized. Put the 💰 in a deep hole somewhere. You didn’t have it before, you don’t need it now. Being you costs very little.
Well, 14 years of voice acting so far. I enjoy it and it's lucrative for the time I spend so I'm happy. I haven't done many huge games or big things mostly because I haven't advertised myself, have no real agent, not pimping myself on social media every day and I don't live near a legit city so... I'm happy to have done the amount of work I have.
@@TruthSurge I’m glad you gave up the pimp thing. From what I’ve seen you don’t have any clothes for the part. My buddy is a ‘50’s car nut. He and his pals get together for burgers and lies monthly. Recently a studio needed a bunch of these cars so he rounded up the boys for a day in Burbank. At the appointed hour the streets were terrorized by fifty snarling, growling and farting pieces of vintage junk. Due to changing styles the drivers were all be outfitted in period garb: tons of polyester, lapels way too long, loud pants, you get the picture. Each guy was analyzed and Lester of Lancaster selected the properly mismatched outfit. Insults were hurled and egos were smashed by merciless comments about hair styles; ya can’t style what ‘cha don’t got. Finally it was my buddies turn to measure up to Lester’s keen stylistic eye. He was so excited. I am sure that vintage leather would be appropriate for the leader of the pack. Lester circled intently before proclaiming: “ Move along, you are perfect.” Yer pal, Larry in Arizona
@@TruthSurge they wound up lining some street with about 30 cars from the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. Any cars shown driving by were driven by the owners resplendent in polyester. They had a great time and got to keep the bell bottoms. I found an old kid’s sized guitar at a junk shop. I am regluing it and cleaning it up for my grandson’s Christmas present. At age 4 he is heavily into drums,,,,, or anything he can pound on with a stick, including the dog. 🤣👍
Gee, they make them short nowadays don't they? I didn't quite get the plot yet but I'll do me a nasty cup in the morn and there's a good chance you'll have to tell me anyway. : ) Cheers.
It's some video game that has some kind of plot but I'm the last person to ask. Never played it myself. Just voiced a few characters in it. It's actually old but they keep making new campaigns I think they call them?
This is wonderful news!! Congratulations brother!! They couldn't have picked anyone better. Ur the greatest artist of all times
