You can't solve all the problems in the world, and one thing for sure you won't be able to solve the problem of human stupidity. Just do you and let them be concerned with their own lives.
I feel like watching your videos has made me a better pet owner in general. I don't have any birds, but I do have two dogs, and I feel like all pet owners can take away great advice from your videos. Keep being your best self Elle!

5 words. Domestic birds cannot survive free. Please don't set your birds free, they have no idea how to survive and they'll die faster than you think :(
Yes. there are some birds that if they get out they can survive for a few weeks but letting them “free” is a death sentence. *Especially* with the little guys in non-tropic areas
Quakers are so cute, as a lovebird mom, I'm a total softy for them, and Caiques stomping or jumping around always makes me laugh. Birds are just extremely funny creatures.
Omg! You have a lovebird?!?! I am going to be a first time bird owner to Either a Mustache Parakeet or a little lovebird, I’ve watched every video possible on both, but how is it with a lovebird? Any tips? I’ve wanted a bird since I could talk, now I’m 14 and My parents are finally On board!!! We are ordering the cage very soon, once I know if I’m getting The lovebird or Mustache, because if I do get a mustache it will be a significantly larger cage. Thanks!
@@skiangel3962 my lovebird is extremely sweet, but they can be VERY difficult when they hit their first hormone period. Do as much research as you can, if possible talk to other people who own lovebirds and moustache keets, half the battle is being prepared and knowing what to expect!
@@LadyVader I second that! Lol. I am hoping to acquire a Male, hoping they will be slightly less hormonal when Mating Season comes around, and I am getting one that is Handfeed, so It will already be used to human contact when he/she arrives!
@@skiangel3962 I’m not a love bird owner but I am a ringneck owner and ringnecks and mustache parakeets act very similarly sometimes. They’re really great birds but they’re ( *usually* )not the kind of bird that will sit on you and cuddle. They’re pretty independent, which I honestly like, Fate and Peeka (my two Quakers) are absolute Velcro birds compared to him and even they don’t want to be cuddly😂 Charlie (my ringneck) bites significantly less hard than the Quakers and less frequently but the first few months with him were *rough*
@@ris8065 haha!! I am (within 3 years, That’s when I graduate) going to get both. I do want more of an independent bird, because when I go to to Med School and Work, I need a bird who will occupy themselves when I am not home. I would love a cuddly bird, but It just seems unfair and Impractical If I can’t be there 24/7. A cuddly bird would work now, that I am home a lot outside of school and Don’t work yet, but since these birds live 20+ years, I will eventually work and can’t have a bird on me all the time, even if I want to. RN hours (Nurse) you usually work 3 days a week, so the rest I can love on my birds, but If I work long hours on the days I do work, an independent bird is Necessary in my case. Ofc when I’m home the bird will be out and with me. I feel like I’m one of the rare few who thinks years ahead on college and Work, and what by bird should be like. I would hate to have a bird so clingy and cuddly that It would have anxiety and be lonely when I’m not home. I’ve researched for years on the perfect bird for me, and Lovebirds and Parakeets meet my criteria perfectly! I would absolutely love a Quaker, but they are illegal in my state!! Sadly. How is owning a ring neck btw? I’ve heard they are a handful, haha!!
@@WolfyMusic622 I don’t understand how people think like that! All animals were wild till we domesticated them!!! Like birds may be one of the more exotic type but still kinda on the same sorta level.

I’m getting a bird on Christmas and I watch you so I know what to do
5 words.
Domestic birds cannot survive free.
Please don't set your birds free, they have no idea how to survive and they'll die faster than you think :(
So true why do some people have a hard time understanding😖
I told this to my dad
@@agentt9235 haha good one, did he go to the shop for milk?
@@-Fab- ty and whaaa
Yes. there are some birds that if they get out they can survive for a few weeks but letting them “free” is a death sentence. *Especially* with the little guys in non-tropic areas
Elle: Talks about bird cruelty
Also Elle 1 second later *GET ME A QUAKER PLEASE SOMEONE*
I actually never knew you shouted me out in one of your videos 😂❤️ Tango is indeed a little mango
Could you do a vid on what to expect when you take your bird to the vet
Hi
My friend said “if I get a bird I will set it free”
And I shot him down with facts of why you shouldn’t do that.
