Y'know, even though they aren't as historical of a pet as cats or dogs, there's just something wonderful about parrots and other mimicking birds that makes them sync up with humans better than a hamster or the like. We can talk to them and they can actually respond. They're more... amicable like that.

That bread one with the pigeons is actually sad. Hopefully the bread was soft enough for him to break through or reach to eat. Do not litter or let along throw anything away that is in a ring shape that animals could get stuck in. Please always break it apart♥️
Bread looks soft, but people should stop feeding birds bread. It's got nothing in it for them and they end up starving. Throw seed instead.

Gonna miss that banana boi, but he's probably in a better place. He was in rough shape. He had a heart of gold and should've never had been treated the way he was by his previous owner. He chose to die in Brock's arms when he could've waited for him to go to bed, to me, that days so much. We'll all miss his adorable hops.

3:58 a year ago i take care of a bird like this and he relly loves at the point that he don´t want to learn how to fly (because he forgot how to fly, he fall from a tree) well one day he disappeared I spend all the day looking for him in all my house but when i was in the livingroom I heard him make a sound in that instant I look down the sofa and nothing and today I think that he was saying goodbye to me and my mother, saying thank you for take of him and love him I know that sound like he dies and I think that because he don´t come upstairs the next day and I have a lot of suspicion about my dad, my dad is alcoholic and he is a really bad person and my bird know that, he wouldn't let him touch him he bites him and poop his shoes I think that my dad kill my best friend :(
My 2 birds (an African grey parrot and a red and green macaw) unfortunately flew away 2 years ago but on the plus side, they come and visit every time I call them. They are really smart and somehow always find the way back to the house after only a few months of living there (unlike me who got lost yesterday after living here for 10 years)
They surprisingly stay together which I didn’t know they do cuz I haven’t had birds for a long long long time so idk much about all of them. But they REFUSE to come back in the house.

I thought that was Toupac the Toucan in the thumbnail! He does have a leg condition that makes him hop like that. He is in excellent care, though. I recommend 2CAN TV - My Life With Toucans, to learn about him and his flock mates' stories.
Sadly, it has just been announced that Toupac passed away. His condition became worse, but he's not in pain any longer.

It’s better you don’t get one while you’re still in school tbh, especially if you were to move away for college. I finally got a cockatiel once I moved out of my mom’s place and it’s been awesome.
