4K UHD United Express E175 New Food Service Lunch First Class Asian Beef Salad

- Finally!!!!! Real food on United Express in First Class. United said that they were adding real food to First Class on United Express. These changes took place in March. Here is one of my first flights on United Express with real food service. Two big thumbs up to United on this!!!! The food was really good thou the F/A on this flight could use some retraining. He was horrible. This was a Mesa flight btw. So we get real china, glassware, an silverware with hot towel service. I had a fruit bowl, Asian Beef Salad, with a chocolate chip cookie. I also had a Vodka tonic with a lime, but the F/A didn't know the difference between a lemon and lime and gave me a lemon this I told him that was not a lime :( This was a United Express E-175 operated by Mesa Airlines from Houston to Detroit. Flew this plane in first recently. From YVR to LAX. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Salad and Fresh Fruit. Presentation was great. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The salad was soggy, and the sauce was a bit to sweet and thick. The wrap was pretty good, but I didn't finish it because I hated the taste of whatever cheese they put in there. The cookie tasted was so sweet, but it was surprisingly good for a packaged cookie.
To be a regional flight serving food is pretty good, also there's WiFi available if you pay but the interior for a regional is way better than the cheap cloth looking one.
The beef is frozen

looks like one lazy flight attendant didnt even take the beef out of the paper and the wine glass was still laid on its side.wish they took some pride in the service

We're actually not allowed to touch the food at all, only the plastic on top of it. Sometimes the meat comes on the side, but if it's on the salad already we cannot touch it. But I do agree he should've taken the wine glass out

Question: How was the E175 aircraft? Did you find it comfortable?, cramped?, loud? - certainly sounded loud. Nice vid.
WysteriaGuitar The E175 is by FAR my favorite United Express aircraft. I have flown in it about 4 or 5 times all in First Class and love this plane!!!! I find it very comfortable. I don't find it loud and love the nice big windows. I just wish the had PTVs. With the new improved food service in First Class I have no problem flying on this plane.
