Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant van 👌
What a great van mate, I can understand your pride in it and the time and effort taken to build it out. atb :)
"round the back of the sofa".. Had me in bits... Great video mate, can't wait to get started modding ours...keep em coming ;)
Love your van 👌🏻
wel done !!! I like your video , you did a great job good effort !! and a lot of great ideas thanks man !!!
Some great ideas as always. I’ll definitely be stealing some of them!
I’m loving going through all the stuff you’ve done previously - I only found your channel by accident a few weeks ago when I was stuck in bed ill, but you cheered me up no end. …and I actually feel like I’ve got my backside and elbow sorted for when I pick up our new van in a few weeks - the one in the icon …can’t wait - your enthusiasm - all of you - is infectious. 👍🏻
That's awesome mate, glad to hear you are on the mend and that I formed part of that repair process! ;) You will love having a van mate, adventure on wheels - Enjoy!
Great video. Love your enthusiasm.
Haha thanks mate.... I drink far too much coffee 🤣🤣
Your so natural and funny I thoroughly enjoyed your video
Lovely van. I’m looking at shelves for over the sink, nice job on your self. Might look at doing my own.
You have Defo given me some ideas for mine and some good tips. Thanks.
Lovely van, thanks for the tips and advice especially for Branston as we have a 2 year old Black Lab and we are total newbies. Hopefully I'll finish ours the end of the year. Many thanks - Mike
Brilliant vid again mate, so funny! Love how you can fit the loo in while the beds out, our bed comes out too far so won't go (if you pardon the pun). Will check out dubbed out on Fb, been on other pages and they're obsessed with lowering, alloys and bodykits..🙄
I like where you have put a mains socket on a cable under the bonnet. The single swivel seat can still be a pain to swivel too. Nice van 👍
Great video dude. 🇸🇪❤️👍🇬🇧
If I had a quiff for the wind to whistle through we would have gone back in time at least twenty five years. lol.
I do like the window wind deflectors - I am considering adding them to my van, along with the chrome side bars.
Enjoyed your video 📹 as always. You're all set for your next trip. Cheers 🍷🍺👍
And I can not wait 🤣🤣!
Great detailed van tour & given me few ideas to add few bits to mine 👍🏻😁
Thanks buddy, I sometimes think I'm responsible for people spending all their savings 🤣🤣
Great channel I’m with you on the rattles I’m having a nightmare with my Rock n Roll bed can’t seem to cure the rattle I’ve got.....🤦🏼
Really like your videos. Glad to hear that you sometimes have problems turning the front seat around. I was beginning to think it was just me!😬
Another great video, Please don’t forget to add the links as I want to know where you got the floor mat from. Good idea for the hook up cable storage. Keep up the good work many thanks Barry.
On it now mate
I’m also apart of dubbed out community ... great group!
Love the videos as always bud! I’ve just picked my first van up this week it’s kinda took over my life haha! Hopefully get a dubbed out meet up soon
I love the page its so friendly, more should be like that....
I know what you mean about the van, I try to find any way I can use it, also I park it up somewhere and its impossible not to look back at it several times while I walk away hahaha
Enjoyed the tour mate, yep careful with these glass tops. Love how you have customised your van.
Thanks guys, I love watching your videos, when I saw you had broken your glass top I was gutted for you... Hope you are doing ok with lockdown and stuff... Happy New Year to you guys! Here is to a much better and more travelled 2021 :)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures I'll drink to that🥃. Lockdown plus snow and ice means we are housebound, but hopefully it will be a good year for us all. Great work with the vids!
Hi, the shelf above the sink and hob looks great. Do you have any guidance on making a similar one please?
We have a 10m and a 15m cable. Which you can join together. The 25m gets really heavy rolling up. The Caravan and Motorhome club don't allow/like joining cables though.
We really enjoy you videos, can you please give me details of the switch control panel as this is the next job on my list to do.😃
Hiya Simon, so glad you enjoy our videos and my ramblings trying to find stuff to talk about during lockdown 🤣🤣... I explain all in my next video. But for now, the switch panel is from Rayne Automotive as part of their VW wiring set up... Hope this helps :)
Have you realised that you have told everyone we're your safe is 😂great vid by the way binge watching now
🤣🤣 i can hardly hide a 2ft metal box in a 7ft by 4ft van 🤣🤣🤣
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures good stuff anyways brilliant vids 👍👏
Thanks dude!
Very informative video 👌🏻
What size water containers do you use?
Hi pal great vids as always just starting with my T5 conversation can you tell me where you got the toilet cover from
Hiya mate, its from Amazon but it seems to have disappeared (it's been out of stock for a good year too) gutted that they are not available now
Enjoying your channel and new Subscriber. We did the folding bracket mod on our double seat which makes the seat a little less upright and allows the top to fold over which is quite handy sometimes rather than faff of swiveling the double keep up the great content
I have been looking at one of those too... Quite a few people have suggested it and I think it has to be my next purchase....
Can I ask, does it go flat? As in flat enough to maybe put some MDF on top and use as a "quick table"
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Yes it does go fairly flat eg the back rest of folds on to the bench part of the seat and you can squeeze a piece of thin ply 6mm ish I think under the upholstery. The bracket I used was the Vankraft one. They have video on the install it's quite straightforward and few other helpful videos online
@@wessexevents awesome, thank you ;)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures no problem you are welcome ps the upholstery clips are a bit of a faff I will try and find the link to the channels I watched that were most helpful
Cant find the link I used but this one is a good option ruclips.net/video/wK2t1mLZ5ts/видео.html
Thought about the froli system springs for top ?
Hiya I’m trying to find your video of the magnetic cup holder pads could you let me know where you got them love your channel
Hiya, they are on a camp out video at the lake (paddle boarding one) but we got them from a company called Silwy ;)
Great video again, thank you. I love seeing other people’s vans. We have the double swivel passenger seat and had a bracket fitted to it last year to enable the backrest to fold down forward but we can still swivel the seat there are only 2 of us and three dogs, so it means on a short stop we can have a clear view from the back seat through the windscreen. Btw it was a relief to know that I’m not the only one who sometimes wrestles the seat 😖. Good idea about the loo roll storage. We have a problem with our van inasmuch as when the rock ‘n’ roll bed is out, we can’t open the fridge door and the space for the toilet is really tight. Don’t know what to do about that. Does the front part of your back seat have two legs? Does it ruck the mat up? (Our van was bought ready converted.) I always look forward to your videos because you always lift my spirits 💕. Looking forward to the next ones. Just seen Wessex Events party planning comment re front pax seat - ours is not completely flat, we use one of those lap tray things on it which evens it out a bit.
I bet your 3 dogs are tidier than Michelle and Olivia haha... I have seen in a few vans where the bed goes past the fridge (where the bed is set forward a bit so there is boot space) - Yes ours has legs that roll on the rug but when we pull out the bed we tend to lift it a bit otherwise it does indeed ruck the carpet up a bit.
Thanks for the advice about the folding seat too... I think I will have to pop one of these on my to do/buy list.
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Thanks for your response. Our dogs may be tidier but I bet they are much dirtier than Michelle and Olivia!
Good video m8 .a noticed u have carpeted your side and back doors where did u get that plastic trim to finish the edge of the carpet. Thanks derek
Hiya mate, thanks.
The edge trim is just really thin door seal (doesn't have to be a seal, I just thought it looked good 🤣) ;)
Hi, just came across your vids, great work👍🏻 I may have missed it but where do you store your food etc when travelling? I saw storage for clothes, plates cups etc but not food.
Hiya Matthew, thanks so much mate...
We store food in large tubs and then pop them in the sliding cupboard. If you check out some of the beginnings of a few of our "vacation" videos, there should be a clip where it shows the food in the cupboard! :)
Yet again, fantastic video. You might think it sad but the ball n chain & myself get a real buzz when we realise you’ve done another vid lol. Think you’ve done a crackin job with the van mate, we’ve bought one ready converted & I’m in the process of changing things to suit us, I think ours is the same base model ( 5speed 102bhp) , been thinking about getting it remapped for more torque & better fuel consumption, it struggled up Sutton Bank lol. Have you any views on this .
Cheers
Keep on sharing the adventures
Haha thats brilliant mate, not sad at all... We do the same with other RUclips channels too... (either that or we are all sad 🤣🤣)
Thanks so much, im super happy with the van now, just want to get out and use it...
Its a similar model, we gave the 115bhp and it does ok. We have managed Garrowby Hill in the North York Moors and few other tasty climbs (including Otley Chevin that I have to climb out of every time I leave Otley 🤣).
We have considered maybe going to 150bhp, not for the speed but for the fuel economy (and torque up hills).
If you do have it done, make sure its by a Pendle Authorised garage as I have heard so horror stories!
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks for that bud, I’ll look at Pendle approved.
Stay safe 👍
Hi Really enjoy your videos very informative and fun too , like your ideas I’ve copied a couple like the plastic bottles for spare water and looking at hooks for coats in back of van , can I ask what the lamp is that you have on the work top please & where it is from ?? Thx 👍👍👍
Hiya Susan, thank you so much....
The lamp is from Amazon (usual drinking too many beers and playing parcel roulette haha)
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07PD8XHVJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thank you il take a look , know exactly what you mean !!! Just ordered some campervan duvet covers Cos I’m bored 😐 don’t even need any lol Take care 👍👍👍
💙
Hi thanks for your video's, can you tell me did you make the kitchen units yourself or buy a kit, if so where fom. Regards Rob. Keep up the good work
Hiya Rob, thanks so much mate....
I bought it as a kit from a company in Leeds who make kitchen cabinets for industry. They wanted to go in to making camper van cupboards but couldn't make much profit from them so they stopped. I bought some off the shelf cupboards they were selling off.
Hey man, been watching through your videos, enjoying them, and a question I have for you is with regard tp your windows... I have a Kombi I am converting and I am having dilemma about the rear windows. I see you haven't cut out your nearside panel, how do you find it for light etc?
EY up buddy, I used to find it quite dark but also comforting and warm so it has it's down sides and up sides. Check out some more recent videos as I have now panelled one of the side (white) and it's brightened it up loads
Brilliant tour. Xxx
You are like us. We are itching to get out on the road. We have a 5 kw Chinese heater in our 4 motion t5. We love it. Love paul and Mandy. The musgroves on Instagram xxxxx
Iv bought a T6 and currently getting all the bits & pieces I need, slowly getting organised, I can’t believe how much stuff you have in your van. All fits surprisingly well 👍🏻 Do you take anything for wild camping? Axe, wood saw etc
Hiya Paul, eventually everything fits 🤣🤣! It takes time though and a lot of taking out and putting back in again!
I haven't been wild camping enough in the van to warrant taking axes and wood saw but I have purchased an axe and a fire pit and have plans to do a wild camp with a fire and such like. Just been a little bit hindered by the current situation!
Quilted head liner.... easy to fit and where did you get it please?
Thanks bud, it was included with the pop top install
How do? Cracking video. I appreciate it is an older video but it is the first time I've seen it. Anyway, can we talk shelves. I want to put a shelf in. I also have a light in the same spot above the window, over the sink etc. I don't want to mess around with the electrics and drop the light down. Therefore, do you manage with the lamp. Not got one, but can get one. Also, how have you attached it the shelf? brackets? What is the colour of your material? I have the same, just want to make sure I order the right one. Loads of questions sorry. Thanks again....you are my Van Guru. (My wife thinks I'm watching dodgy videos).
Hey buddy, Thanks for watching and subbing... So in answer to your questions, the carpet is called Smoke Grey (it does differ slightly from different manufacturers, mine is from Mega Van Mats and Kiravans) - I do manage with the lamp, but if you check out my "camper van problems solved" video I have added a light under the shelf that links directly to the switch panel instead of the lamp (I ditched the lamp idea as it was a little to large for the space)
The shelf is screwed in from the cupboard on the right (from the inside) and screwed on to the bulk head frame with self tappers and a support beam from the bottom to the top. With the shelf being quite surdy there wasnt any need to add middle supports and its held quite well...
I suppose my videos are dodgy haha!! Enjoy!
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Lovely stuff. Holmfirth in 2 weeks. Well, for one night anyway. Let' see what Yorkshire has to offer.
Great video, very organised van and has given me a few ideas...😉Did you make the cover for the loo yourself, Or did you buy it?
Hiya, I actually bought it but its been out of stock for ages now, keep an eye on this link and fingers crossed it should come back in stock www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07LCN5BZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_RwcbGbJCNVJ12?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Aaah! That looks easy enough to make myself 🥴😉 - think I’ll give it a wee go whilst in lockdown restrictions - cheers - love your easy going vids!
Hi Colin, great video, where did you get the toilet cover from,we have got the Thetford 365.Cheers
Hiya mate, sadly the place I got it from doesn't sell them anymore, I have been looking everywhere for an alternative and as soon as I find one I'll let you and everyone know!
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures cheers mate
@@leesutton5313 no worries bud
Shelf build video !!!!
Great vid, are the cargo nets an Amazon special?! 👍🏻
Hiya thanks buddy...
No believe it or not, they are from a place called Mega Van Mats in Pudsey, they are cheaper from there than Amazon... ;)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Ah ok I'll do a little search 👍🏻 Found you on t'gram too 👍🏻 Canny wait for lockdown to fizzle out!
Great video mate I've joined the dubbed out community group, where did you get your sticker from??
Awesome, its a great group.... I got my sticker from Germain (admin), you can buy them or invite friends and get one for free! I think the info is in the Announcements section on the FB page! :)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks mate, never thought to look there!!! Ordered one now. Yeah seems a great set of people on there. Just need the virus to do one so we can get out and about...roll on the summer
Nice video. Have you got a link for where you got the cargo nets from please.
Hiya mate, I got them from here www.megavanmats.com/
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thank you
Looks like they don’t sell them anymore. Couldn’t find them on there website.
@@matthewpearce7415 it might be worth calling them, they are super helpful (family run business)
Can you travel with the front double seat facing backward ?
I wouldn't have thought so as it blocks the view of the passenger side window and mirror. Plus the seat belt is facing the wrong way (on the b pillar) - I definitely think pc plod would have something to say about it
Aye up. Good vid again. Please put a link to the youtubers you mentioned. Cheers
Thanks buddy, im hoping to get the links up tonight. If you search in RUclips wee broon van they should come up.... ;) let them know we sent you over and say hi
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Will do. You should consider organising a meet up or night camping when its safe. Take care.
100% trips and meets was part of the plan when I started the channel in January, by March it had all changed 🤣🤣... I can't wait to be able to meet up and compare van stuff... fingers crossed its soon
Aye up again. Your water bottles for fresh and gray have bungs in the top. Where are the bungs from? I ll copy your storage to give me more space there. Cheers bud
@@evobobber Hiya bud...They actually came with the bottles I bought - They are brilliant, I just gut holes in them and popped the hoses through because the water kept spilling everywhere if I drove with a full tank... www.amazon.co.uk/Motorhome-Caravan-Campervan-Plumbing-Containers/dp/B07MCM9LFK/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=camper+van+water+tank&qid=1610801728&sr=8-7 these ones but I cant find them separately
Sorry mate i forgot to ask does Bramble sleep on the double seat or in the footwell with the seat swivelled. Cheers - Mike
Hey Mike, he sleeps in the foot-well with the seat swiveled - Sometimes at the bottom of the bed (the gap between the bed and the seat) if its raining or we cant open the front door because the awninig is in the way
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Awsome thanks we'll have to give that a go when finished. Cheers
Where did you buy your bed topper and fleece cover?
Hiya John, the bed topper (in the video) came with the pop top installation from C&H Pop Tops but the extra topper i mentioned came from Amazon, Im Sat putting together the links for the video now so I'll add that one to the links in the description... The fleece cover is just a fleece blanket from Home Bargains (cheap as)
Hi, love your van tour. But I’m curious, where does your dog sleep of a night time ?
Hiya, he sleeps in the foot well. Once the seat is turned round and his cushion is in there he loves it. Its his little safe place. He did used to sleep at the bottom of the bed until we got the toilet and he was fidgety all night, he's super settled in the front now!
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thanks. I’d asked the question before I’d got to the end of the video, so sorry for asking a question you’d already answered lol 😂 . I asked as up until November we had a Lab that came away with us and it was a bit of a nightmare, she was elderly and struggled with the van.
Haha its ok, I just assumed you'd missed that part of the video.
Yeah I think as he gets older we may have to rethink the sleeping situation as he hops up super easy now but in 10 years he might struggle. But in 10 years we will either have a larger van or Olivia's going to be in her 20s and not wanting to come camping with us so he can have the whole of downstairs and Michelle and I will sleep upstairs
Yeh that’s what we did last year, Tilly had the whole of downstairs and we slept up top.
You forgot to mention the red painted calipers help you brake better!!!
🤣🤣🤣 For anyone reading this response, this chap was the dufus who beeped at me while I was filming 🤣🤣 - You're right though, painting your calipers red makes it brake like a Boeing 747
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures i'll defo beep louder next time!!
Did you discover the bog cover link.....Thetford 165..?
Yes mate but it's been out of stock for ages :( www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07LCN5BZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_RwcbGbJCNVJ12?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
thank you very much..keep up the good work..
Hi Colin,
Great tour, cheers.
Can I ask did you install your bonnet protector?
Hi mate, sorry for the late response, yes I installed it in about 5 minutes ;)
Hi Guys 😍💋 💝💖
