One of two end-point positions in the QvR endgame, the other being the Javelin / Distant defense.

Another quick kill position that you should add to the database is where you have the attacking king on h5, queen on f5, rook on d6, defending king on g8, defender to move. This position is still valid even if you shift it 1 to 3 files left, or even 1 rank down. Eight positions in all. The defender gets burned quickly whatever he does.
I was thinking maybe it should be called the stagecoach position. Imagine the attacking pieces as the wheels of the stagecoach, the defending king as the top of the coach, and the defending rook as the horses pulling the coach.

Just want to add something i found, after rg3 qd5+ kh8 you can go for quick mate with kf7!! Rg7+ kf8!! And mate cant be stopped. I missed kh8 in the video. Of course the fork still works

Yes! And in the event of Kh8, you actually get the best fork if you play Qd8+ and Qc7+. Your approach, Kf7 and Kf8, is correct. It's actually playing for a fatal Cage position, covered in another video, but that very same idea crops up in other locations as well. Never fear the check on g7 (or the equivalent) if the Queen is covering g8!
