- The Destruction of Xizor's Palace - 10:45
The final track of this amazing soundtrack. The title and music pretty much speaks for itself. A showdown with Xizor, leader of Black Sun. Those who have played the games may recall a portion of this piece. Now you will be able to hear it in its entirety. - Видеоклипы

"Sir, you'd better take over the ship, we've reached the Skyhook!"
So many fun memories of that level.
I used to have track 10 of the CD play on loop! Thanks for the fun share.
5:45-6:24
Wait where's Dash? He must not have made it out of the skyhook before it blew.
We used to sing “Burn into a ball of flame!” While flying through the skyhook.
This really bridges the music from RotJ to TPM with the vocals.
I remember aimlessly flying around the last level in this game in order to listen to this track. Needlessly to say, every death was worth it.
Just imagine, all he had to go on was the book and concept art.
And he came up with this seeing a movie just in his mind and scoring it. Brilliant.
Although his "borrowing" of excerpts from classical music can be a bit much at times. His shameless bastardizing of Ravel's "Daphins et Chloe" in this for example or the quotations from Walton's "Belshazzars feast".
Ive played this music swapping out soundtrack from Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 to make the fight between Kyle Katarn and Jerec 10 times more epic than it already is in the valley of the jedi.
It even fits with kyle katarn fighting jerec
I frakking love this score! Why didn't they do an orchestral arrangement to TIE Fighter and Dark Forces' scores? Those a brilliant pieces of music; I have the MIDIs of each burned to a CD I listen to on car trips, but I'd love to hear them as full orchestral pieces.
this is so magnificent!
Disney could never hope to match this, which is why they jettisoned this from canon.
Instead, we get a ridiculous, overly complicated plot about trying to get Han at an auction.
@@yrooxrksvi7142 and the masses stood silent, in favor of more superhero/Jedi crap.
@@derekbates4316 ........Are you seriously complaining about too much Jedi in Disney, when they barely show them anymore ?
I'm talking about that War of the Bounty Hunters comic crap with Emilia Clarke's character from Solo...
@@yrooxrksvi7142
Solo's girlfriend is what bothered you, not the whole fucking Force Awakens trilogy, Disney bullshit!? Seriously, dude? It's all crap!
@@derekbates4316 Dude, simmer tf down, I agree with you thoroughly ! I hate the Sequel crap as much as the next guy, and I will fight anyone even on saying TFA was "tHe OnLy GoOd OnE". But I was talking within the scope of Shadows of the Empire in the timeline (a few months after ESB but before RoTJ), it was overwritten with a stupid convoluted auction plot dragging her from Solo in the comics.
If we were talking about the sequel trash, then the first comparison would be with the NJO and Legacy of the Force novels rather than SotE, as they match similar dates.
I hate Ma-Rey Sue, Crylo Ren, making the OT heroes into a bunch of failures, but do calm down please.
The part from 5:45 to 6:24 is the Skyhook Battle theme in the game.
This guy should do the music for the new Star Wars films if Williams doesn't want to do it.
they shud do this movie!
Hey would you happen to have the Freighter Suporsa theme anywhere?

Is that a flute or a clarinet in the opening accompany the choir?
I think a flute maybe.
I think it's an oboe
what language is that?
3:55 - 6:24
I wouldnt call Republic Commandos shit
Anything related to the prequels is automatically shit though :)
Ha, eight years ago before the sequel trilogy said “hold my beer.”
@@awesomefanger had the exact same thought lol
This moronic comment aged pretty horribly though :)
