My husband and I are going to be in London for a few days on our way to Rome and then onto a Mediterranean cruise. Several places that you’ve shown in your videos over the years are on my list. I’m very much looking forward to being in your country for the second time, the first was my high school senior trip, which was a long time ago. Thank you for shining a light on Philadelphia, so many Americans have never been there, it truly is a lovely place. Safe travels to Florida, enjoy your family.

You should be going to New Hope Pennsylvania which is a small beautiful historical town about a half an hour north of Philadelphia that was a British area originally it's where Washington crossed the Delaware, and the town itself has a lot of gay people and incredible restaurants and shops in antique shops. ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻✌🏻

Some parts are absolutely dreadful from what I’ve heard. Drugs, homeless, etc etc
to outsiders it looks amazing but if you’ve lived here longer than 5 years you’ll know what a absolute dump it is. What you’re seeing is center city but the surrounding areas are not as nice and Live..

@@RA82828 shame on me for letting people know how this place really is? You sound as ridiculous as you look. My comment takes nothing away from Joel’s experience I’m just letting future tourists know what they’re really walking into..
Philly has its problems but so does any city of a million people or more. Of course tourists will be attracted to the nice parts. I'm glad Joel and Keegan got to visit the city I grew up in (and had the sense to wait to get to Philly to have a cheesesteak!)

I love the Reading Market (had a good Amish breakfast inside) an go there whenever I attend the Philadelphia Flower Show. (If you ever get a chance to go, I think you would love it) I have to laugh because I have a similar picture of myself outside the Hard Rock Cafe. I hope you enjoyed your Starbucks breakfast! This vlog makes me homesick...I grew up about an hour from Philly and spent a lot of time there. We had plenty of school field trips to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. During the summer, my family would go to Philly for baseball games.

Reading Terminal "Market" is the former Reading Terminal, the terminal of the old Reading Railroad, and the head house was the railroad's headquarters. It used to be one of the busiest in Philly. Didn't you notice you were inside an old train shed, sans the tracks? That's why it was a long elevated building, because the trains came in above street level on a really long raised viaduct. And that's a little history, from your Uncle Tim.
Oh my gosh, when you and poor Lia were turning into ice cubes trying the Philly cheesesteaks 🥶 Nice to see Philly again!

I live an hour West of Philadelphia, and visit there fairly regularly. I love walking the streets!! Every trip I make we stop in the Reading Terminal Market!! It would be amazing if I would have happened to be there this weekend and bumped into you guys!! Glad you enjoyed WrestleMania. I am not a fan!! Have a great time in Florida before returning to the UK. ❤
How fun!!!! Philly is great, and better weather than when you and Lia were there. Angelos is the best pizza and steak, and next to the best barber shop in town, Burke & Payne!

Thanks for sharing your trip Joel. Pennsylvania is my favourite of the states I’ve visited in the USA. So green and so many trees! I’ve been to Philly Liberty Hall etc but I know Pittsburgh better as my sister and BIL lived there for a few years.

OMG, Philly! You have a great friend with Joe, that was a great gift box.WaWA and tastykake. Herrs are great chips. Wrestling, I worked out at Hacksaw Jim Dugan's gym back in the day. So many wrestlers would come in and work out. Some were huge on top but had chicken legs. Work those legs. Did you find Trader Joe's in Orlando? Winter Park or by Dr Philips. Keegan is such a good balance for you. Should have gone with the Philly cheese steak.
Philly is a wonderful city. I enjoyed my own visit there a few years ago so much. I'm not a wrestling fan but to each his own. 🙂

Philly is really the birthplace of the United States. It is where the decaration of independence was signed and where our Constitution was written. Federal Hall and the liberty bell would be interesting to see.

I'm not going to ask why Wrestlemania, it's not my business. But I have to say, I don't think I've ever met anyone over 18 that's into it. However, as a gay man, I can see some reasons for interest.

Plus Joel already said he wasn’t a big wrestling fan anyways and just mostly did this to get out but either way it’s not that different than watching reality tv, they’re all fake and scripted.

There are a lot of British areas because the Brits were originally in that area of the United States. There is a town north of Philadelphia call New Hope Pennsylvania that is very historical and looks like something right out of England it's also a gay town with gay clubs and restaurants and antique shops and you would just love it there. Every weekend thousands of gay people from New York City and Philadelphia go to New Hope Pennsylvania
