don't even know what to say... maybe i'm just a big big dork , but this was the BEST video i have found in months... and months... now if i could only find someone to tell me what this little do-dad is that came in my great grandmothers 110 year old treadle sewing machine, i'd be the happiest dork in the world!
The best video ever. An amazing explanation thank you sooooooo much , it really helped me a lot. I was really confused with those feet but now I am able to know the features of every foot
Pls tell the minute that you are using different type of foot, that is easier for the viewer to choose what they want to learn, thanks a lot for your sharing
It’s impossible to explain just like that,we don’t see you’re fabrics, treads, what they do? Try to put in search about tread tension.so you’ll see how it looks when it’s too little or too much...most of new machines have automatic tread tension,or there are machines that don’t even has option to change it..try to put at middle, saw on tiny peace for test before going on you’re project, then look back of fabric to see how tread looks(put different treads down and up so you can easier see ) and you should be able to see if it’s to little tension...also spool holders on bottom can have some treads, dust need to open and clean.need to oil well machine also..so there can be many reasons why machine gets stuck..if you’re treads tension is ok(you’re test you do as I sed shows so) and it still gets stuck, then need to clean and oil machine well,as more you use machine more you got to use oil...if you have not used machine for half year, you definitely need to clean well machine(cos oil with time and together with dust from treads turns like in black glue and sticks parts, those don’t turn well, reason we need to or do it well our self if we know machines well or take it atleast once a year to maintenance)..well,I know it’s not like I helped a lot,but hope you’re on good way to get it sorted....search in search how to do tension tread, how to clean and oil you’re machine,if that don’t helps take it to maintenance and they should put it perfectly
What make and model sewing machine are you using to be able to sew with all these preservatives feet. I'm currently researching for a heavy duty machine that I can do many of the things your demonstrating. Plus can handle roughly 4 layers of thick fabrics. Concerned about small amount of thread on bobbin. looks like the thread spool can be larger spools.
