... but without any help from bellicheck, Brady, and gronk - burkheads chances of succeeding are basically zero.
.... and burkheads don’t become Tom Brady’s - so it’s the writing on the wall of what’s going to happen.
I say this even as a huuuuuge Burkhead fan btw - it if Burkhead did this - efff him 1000x over. So considering not many people really “like” Marty (he’s mainly followed bc of barstool) this dude is done... and deservedly so. You don’t do this unless you’re willing to know the consequences.
I’m not a huge Marty fan, but this is so overblown. If they weren’t friends, then it’s not immoral. It might be dumb, but not associating with him over it is more of a betrayal than dating a coworkers ex.

This outrage is kinda weird. If hank and Marty weren’t friends then he doesn’t owe him anything. This idea of ignoring the fact there are mutual feelings between two people who spend a lot of time together due to the barstool work culture because New York has so many other people ignores reality. People are way more likely to develop feelings for people they interact with the the most. It’s a big office they don’t have to interact anymore and that’s fine. Dave and Big Cat taking this more personally than Hank is just weird.
There’s an undercurrent here of…”guy code” or in some way Hank is “owed” something, and the implicit thing there is that Ria is Hank’s property which makes me really uncomfortable.

I feel bad for marty because I honestly think in his mind he did not think this would be that big of a deal, but it's not just that you are dating Ria but also you were dating Kayce's sister as well. When you push back and look at that and divide what your worth is it's just not valuable enough to keep you around. It's going to be constant issues in the office and I'm not entirely sure how he didn't think of this but maybe he also didn't care, maybe he knew he was getting bounced anyways? A lot of pods are etc and probably people as well, but to think this wouldnt affect the office is just crazy.
