Dave leaving advisors is absolutely crazy. That's the best show that Barstool puts out. I'm also happy I got to hear the Brady vs Belicheck argument again.
This relationship between Dave and Eddie doesn’t feel the same. Really started to feel it the last few episodes and thought it was just a shtick. Dave is so defensive and tight, Eddie talks like he just found out his childhood dog got ran over. Hope things bounce back.
Eddie is a good guy but SUCKS as a host.

I think a few things…
1 - getting into a rivalry with the NFL/supporting the patriots skyrocketed barstool. That was their identity for a while. Having Tennessee athletic department hate you isn’t going to do anything besides get you less access
2- They never had a good relationship with the NFL prior to that
3- The NFL is 100x the size of the Tennessee athletic department. It’s different to go at the big guy hs the small guy. Makes for much funnier content handcuffing yourself in NFL HQ

More like a manager, really, and a manager's job is to keep the employees in line to ensure profit margins. CEO Dave cared less about short term profits, and that's what made the brand endearing. But his role has changed, and I won't hold a guy doing his job against him personally. Its just that we ALL want the old barstool back and fuck the advertisers. I actually respect the fuck out of Eddie. Not afraid to stick up for himself in some situations. Others he says "I can't argue with that". That's when you know you at least have a genuine guy and not skewing everything to benefit him. Even if his idea of what's arguable or not is off-center, he's at least honest with himself and his company (intent, is what I mean).
