- I thrifted all my Christmas gifts to have it be more sustainable and affordable. It's no big secret to my close friends and family how much I love thrifting, so I thought I'd try something new and give them some of the secondhand treasures that I found. I went to Savers on a 50% off the entire store day with my fashionable friend Elisa who loves thrifting, and she jumped on the idea to thrift gifts for her family as well. She even agreed to show her haul at the end! You'll have to wait for a future video for my haul, because we ran out of time, but come watch our adventures and see why I love the hunt! Hi Julie, ok I will have to say since winter in Chicagoland has been such spring vibes lately, the vlog is past its' season. Jk. The cat puzzle count quest looks like the 'Asian squat team.' Makes me remember growing up, my Aunt's would be striking "the squat pose" in the kitchen. Flash back! Like thrifting!!. I hope that made sense! Thanks for sharing, Sherry
Oh I know this vlogmas series is way overdue but gotta finish strong! I am enjoying the spring vibes lately too. I have been taking T out for walks and I realize she has never experienced walks outside in her life before 😂. Her eyes are like 👀 haha! And I honestly can’t do the kimchi squat. My legs can’t balance myself that way. But yes kimchi squat vibes for sure!
10:25 a core memory unlocked- the sounds of clothes hangers. When my siblings were small, my mom bring us and thrift for everything our clothing, toys, housewares 🥲
That’s a great core memory. My mom never thrifted but I grew a love for it in college cuz I went to school in the city and the cities always have the best thrift stores. I revived this love after I had our first kid.

Thanks! I love giving thrifting tips to my friends if they’re beginner thrifters too and they say it helps. Another one I always say is to go through the aisles twice because the first time around, your eyes have a hard time focusing.

She is the cutest. Her fashion sense is amazing. She’s like a whole head to toe look every time I see her- like she’s a character in her own movie. Love it! If you haven’t gone thrifting before, go with low expectations and be okay with walking out with nothing. It happens to me from time to time as well!

Aw thanks Melissa. I’m actually double her age, so I could be more like mom vibes haha 😂 but I definitely think of her as a little sister and friend. We talk about life all the time and have great deep convos. It was fun to shop together for the first time too!
