Aw thanks Nian. I think that’s the part I love the most about gift giving. It is all about the thought process behind it and I think this is even more important if it’s thrifted or secondhand. All of my friends and family truly appreciated the gifts even more than I thought they would ❤.
I totally agree about normalizing giving secondhand gifts! You're still thoughtful about what you choose and it's not just some whatever thing. I haven't been thrifting in forever! AHHH Need to set aside a day to go!

You're right that it has to be about thoughtfulness and care to the individual and something you'd want for yourself. I still feel like we haven't thrifted in forever and want to go! Haha.

I love that you tuned into each person's likes when you picked out gifts for them! I am sure that they all were quite touched when they received their gifts from you! Such clever decorating ideas to present the gifts! I love going thrifting, and this has greatly inspired me to thrift gifts for my family & friends! Wishing you and your family happiness!
I am so sorry I missed your comment. They were really all touched and when I go to their houses, they have the items displayed or use it around the house. Even the kids still love the games and what-not. Decorating the gifts make them more special. I hope you were inspired enough to actually thrift some gifts for this year! I haven't had the chance this year yet, but it makes me want to do it again!

These are fantastic finds! I love cats, too, and love the cat puzzle gift. I’m curious about the 500th piece. Did your friend do the puzzle and mention a missing piece? Taylor is absolutely adorable, and Lincoln is as cute as ever. 🥰
Sorry about the late reply....she didn't ever end up making the puzzle. She keeps it displayed on the shelf as is. But she is an artist, so I honestly think she would just fill in the missing piece if she had to. She was still very touched by it! And thanks for the nice comments about our kids!
