I love your thrift ed items. You got some really cool stuff and its meaningful. You have put a lot of love and thought into your children's gifts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting to spend a bunch of money on cheaply made toys that they will lose interest in eventually.
We thrift gifts as well. Our kids have never once commented on it, and the best hidden pro is the fact that you don’t have to spend hours opening things from packages Christmas morning!
You found some amazing deals! I love the real Coleman lantern and the carousel toy. So this year I tried to thrift for the items my son wanted, but I actually did better at the Black Friday sales -- that never happens but this year for what I needed was exceptional! I am putting away some games and toys I found for other occasions like Easter baskets and birthday etc. God really blessed us shopping this year!
