I have been searching for a video to explain brioche decreases well enough to understand, and this is it! Once I got past the complexities of the different colored yarn, you explained very well what was happening! Thank you!
Finally a video that explains brioche decreases properly, thank you. So many of the videos have the wool in the opposite hand to the one that I learnt to knit with, and so I find them very confusing. I am afraid I rather agree with the comment that the beautifully coloured nails rather detract from the knitting, but I fear that it is just jealously as old hands like mine and jazzy nail varnish should not be seen together!
Oh jazzy nails and older hands are great! I love her nails and that yarn! At first the nails were a bit distracting but was able to follow. Good Tutorial. I'm a thrower and struggling with the inc /dec but this I think will be my go to.
I have fell in love with brioche stitch, and love how it looks, but have never seen a decrease done before your video. What kind of decrease would I need to make the crown for a beanie? Left, or right? Thank you!
I am really enjoying your videos, but it is hard to see with this color yarn and as beautiful as your nails look, they are distracting because of the complexity of this stitch. You have a real knack for teaching and I hate to criticize you. Keep up the good work.
Best video on brioche decreasing. Thanks.
Thank heavens - the pattern I am using is useless and this explains it perfectly - you have saved my son's brioche hat! Thank you!

I have watches MANY videos trying to learn this. Now, thanks to you - I've got it! You do a GREAT job explaining and demonstrating this stitch.

mirkrovi personally, I feel like you could do either, left or right! As long as your consistent and use one way for the whole hat, it’ll look great!
