THANK YOU. you just saved me from immense irritation regarding a few errors i made in my first brioche project! also, your brioche 2 color video is what finally taught me the stitch, so double thank you! after many days, about 10 restarts, and multiple other videos, it finally clicked when i knit along with you. i can't tell you how much i appreciate the time and effort you put into making these resources--i feel so accomplished and proud of myself for being able to learn this challenging stitch, and i couldn't have done it without your help!!!
I have used your tutorial twice now on a brioche cowl and I am amazed that it actually fixed the problem. I would never have figured this out without your tutorial. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have watched it quite a few times to help me fix my first Brioche project. One of your tutorials even taught me how to pull my needles out of my in the round Brioche project allowing me to frog down to where my mistake was and place the stitches back on the needle correctly. Thanks so much for your clear and helpful videos!
I have tried brioche knitting before, but gave up because I just did not get it. Your videos have been extremely helpful and now I am willing to try it again. Thanks for these.
Sure wish I had seen your site 5 days ago. I made the mistake of trying a brioche hat pattern without ever trying the brioche stitch first in flat work. I must have started over at least 12 times. Your videos are awesome.
Wow, thank you so much! I just ripped out quite a bit of two color Brioche because I had a couple of flubs, then ended up with two dropped stitches. It was all practice anyway, isn't everything? But I am so glad you shared your knowledge with us all!
Thank you for your clear tutorial. I did something that involved having to undo two parallel columns and then work them back up and it was so easy based on your instructions.
THANK YOU!! This helped me fix a brioche stitch that I had to ladder down to as the yarn had split and I didn’t notice (a few rows back 😢). It’s good as new now! ❤❤
Oh my God, I was just able to fix a dropped stitch 3 rounds below --- that would have cost me so much time -- thank you, thank you!! It was a brp stitch, so I just turned my work to the back side to fix it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOUUUUUU! Just fixed the gaping hole in a brioche section of my Satellite shawl (by Andrea Mowry), thanks to you! YAY! :) :) :)
Amaat Al Dschabbar ah! Yes that can happen. What I do if multiple are dropped, is work one at a time. Put a removable marker in three of the sts and pick up one column at a time. It's best to work with the knit "v's" facing you so if they are 4 adjacent sts work the 2 facing you first, then turn the work and pick up the columns on the other side. They'll be a bit loose because you've got so much yarn loose but when the work blocks it will all even out. Good luck!!!
The Unapologetic Knitter ahhh thank you! Next time I'll try it like this! What I did? I ripped a fee rows off and picked all stitches up. This was a lot more work I guess. Have a nice day! Bye Mara
I thought I was going to lose my mind trying to figure out how to fix my dropped stitch. Thank you so much!!!!
Im subscribing because of this video. People tend to forget the last part to fixing the stitch. Thanks again.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Would you follow the same technique on one color brioche.
NiceyLuvstubing59 Yes, you're right. It'll be a bit trickier as you won't have colors to guide you but it's exactly the same technique.
You saved me!!! Thank you!
You're so welcome! I'm glad it helped!
This helps a lot BUT what can I do when I drop more than one stitch? I dropped 4 stitches or so.. ahhh
