Yeah I was surprised that nobody noticed that I was closest to the blue NPC and didn't go for it, they just kept accusing each other. I did suspect I of being L from the way he was behaving on day 2, so when I heard an Investigator saying that he was sus I took the opportunity to subtly add onto it and convince them not to vote B again.
What the hell was up with the follower in the second game? They had PLENTY of chances to offload those IDs but never did. Yeah there were other people and all but if they just *talked* they could have done something surely.
Nah he did try but he had at least 2 people following him since he wasn't subtle about stealing IDs, I don't think he could've passed them off without somebody witnessing at that point
L gets to select who gets to do the arrest. If they select Kira, kira will protect their follower and not reveal any IDs so you have to be careful who you select to do arrests. Usually, L will select a confirmed investigator to arrest in that situation, (which would have been B). The only other person L can guarantee is good is themself, so if they selected someone who is not B, there is a good chance that person is L.
I only had slight suspicion on day 2 due to the way he was moving and because he was hanging around the express train area. It's the way he reacted after being voted up + L using his power to say A was suspicious right at the end of the meeting that confirmed it for me.
