Unfair question for Kenya. She still answer the question very well and she should have been in the top 3.
I would have put Kenya in the top 3. They gave her a backstage interview too which mean she was one of the ladies considered for the crown. France also got a backstage interview btw. Terrible question for an international pageant.
I think Kenya should be the 1st runner.

Iris 🇫🇷 is a silent slayer. That quiet confidence and strength stood out. She was steady as a rock, while the other ladies tried so hard to deliver a good answer but crumbled in the end. 🇫🇷❤️🇫🇷❤️🇫🇷❤️

I agree. Kenya had the most difficult question and she managed to give a great and honest answer. It was her view and opinion, and she delivered well. But I think they didn't like her answer.

It was actually a tricky question. She could have answered, "Democracy is not an imposed decision but a choice to select with freedom. Whatever USA and it's citizens have chosen should be respected even though it might not be liked by few. Every country has freedom to choose how they'll move forward to the better future and I believe, USA will value such beliefs for other countries as well"🤗 tricky answer with a direct stab into the question 😂

Kenya still answer the question and explained very well even though it's out of time. I'm not trying to be rude here but Kenya must be still in top 3 she answer the question what is your excitement and she answer I think that etc, she has a good answer. Is it because she's out of time? That's not on the rules right?
Honestly, I think they didn't like her answer. I liked it though. I thought it was very well said and honest. They asked her opinion and she gave "her" opinion. I think they were expectng a more politically correct answer (meaning for Hilary Clinton and against Donald Trump).

Everyone seems so shocked about Kenya's question and how it could have been allowed, as an explanation, it is due to the fact that during this time Donald Trump owned the pageant itself.

Once I heard Kenya's question, Oh I felt bad for her but when I had a chance to rewind this, her q n a was not the hardest one, in the same breath who got the hardest was Miss Philippines rather. Let's imagine this, what is the most significant change for the past 10 years? The answering will not easily touch the judges' heart I can tell. That was why she finished at top6. I am a Thai pageant fan not Pinoy(in the case of bias). However I felt Kenya at that time because that question was such a newly-question to be asked and answered. For my lovely Thai, Namtan Chalita, she should have been responded with more and more confident and details than she did. That was why she finished at top6, we did get that. So these top3 was deserving.
Hmmm please. I can instantly think of at least 5 impactful things to say that happened in past 10 years. Good thing - development in technologies. Bad thing - people growing far apart in real life due to social media influence. Miss. Philippines answer is very disjointed and nonsensical to the point that I don’t even think she internalized the question. Miss universe has been around since 1950s. I have no idea how she came up with that answer. Sorry but hers is the dumbest answer of the lot.
Oh come on. She got nervous and didn't deliver. Kenya had a tough question and it was very unfair question. However, she delivered well and gave an honest answer (that they did not like - that's why she was out of the top 3). Philippines was so gorgeous but she blew it (pressure maybe?). I'd give the top 3 placements to France, Kenya and Haiti. Thailand and Philippines were the most beautiful delegates from Asia. Sadly they were not strong on the question round.
