Great stuff. I just purchased the pioneer nex7600 and trying to get video pass through to my RSE system. What do I connect to the micro hdmi on the unit? Also noticed the RSE is disabled. Do I connect the same way that is outlined in this video?
I had tons of those 4 pin 3.5 mm's pinned wrong and wouldn't show video. Used the sameone you guys have (kenwood) and works flawlessly. I was curious about that mirrorcast, never tried one yet!
I'm using an original hdmi samsung cable for my pioneer avh x390BT. Connected this to a hdmi2av adapter but the quality is very poor. Is this because of the av cables connected to the hdmi2av adapter? I tried changing the dpi and resolution on my phone. This helps a little bit but not yet the way i want it to be... i need to be sure before buying a new av cable. Thanks
I'm trying to connect the HDMI from a raspberry pi 3 b+ to the 2.5mm a\v-in on my Kenwood. I know this linked Kenwood a\v to 2.5mm (micro rca or whatever they call it) will work correctly. But would "standard" "HDMI to composite" + "composite to a\v 2.5mm" just work? They are converting Miracast, Apple's protocol, and mhl, to just a standard HDMI using their necessary adaptors, soo any HDMI to a\v adapter should work when plugged into the Kenwood a\v to 2.5mm adaptor?

Craig Richards yes any local dealer that sells Stinger, PAC audio, or Phoenix gold. They are all the same company and a dealer should have no problems get it for you.
Hi I'm living in the UK and I have Pioneer MVH-VA290BT and I would like mirror link to my Samsung galaxy note 3 can I use the the Samsung micro usb to hdmi or miracast? and do any miracast works because the Belkin is not available in the UK and also the iSmple medialinx. Thanks for the reply! I had bought that one because amazon prompted it when the other was out of stock. But it did not work in any position. I did some research and found out the TRRS of the cable you suggest is , left-right-ground-video. I am just having trouble finding the TRRS listed on the description of any of these cables.
All the places I have contacted say that the Ca-c3av cable has been discontinued, so I might cut my losses and return the other stuff I bought. If you happen to find a replacement cable for this connection, please let us know!

which is the best processor to use when it comes to installing a 5 channel amp ? because my soundstream processor is acting up and might have to change it and I haven't had it no longer than a year. so what other products besides soundstream should I use ?
depends on budget really. Alpine, helix, rockford, JL, audiocontrol, arc audio, audison and many others have DSPs usually fairly expensive but they all work well. If you are looking for a more budgeted option but still want quality, minidsp would be the go to company.
Shykese Hart just go with audiocontrol they are great and last a long time... good quality stuff for sure... and if you have 500$-600$ laying around then grab an audison. but audiocontrol is only about 200-250$ and is super good

Jeff DaChef if you have a wifi hot spot for Cromecast to connect to then your good. For Cromecast your phone is just the remote and the device is providing the content. The Miracast is just easier because it is one point of connection and just shares your phone.
Angel Rodriguez yes, these radios have a video out you can play in a headrest screen. Or if you have different style radio it will work too. Once the hdmi is turned to RCA it is shareable
I did this with MVH-AV290bt. HDMI sends audio but not video and a loud buzz. I tested all the cables (medialinx, HDMI, 4 channel mini) and they all worked independently. When I reconnected, I left the yellow video RCA unconnected and the audio was clear (no buzz). When I connected the video RCA, the buzzing started immediately, but still no picture. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible the HU has a bad female AUX jack? Could this have anything to do with the Micro Bypass? Please help. Thanks!
I bought this one. I realize it has male RCAs. I turned them around with female to female barrels. While it might seem that this extra link in the chain was the problem, I tried two other different 4 pole mini to RCA connectors and they had the same problem. Then I tested just the mini to RCA with an old school VCR with RCA outs. No hdmi, no medialinx; same problem. If you say to buy the Kenwood one, I will do it, but I tested with other mini to RCA pigtails from old camcorders that I've used in the past with no problems and they worked the same.
Ryan Evans first check to see if it has MHL, is so get the Samsung adapter. If not get the Belkin Miracast dongle. Both will need the ISimple MediaLinks and the Ca-C3av.

BadBoxer they say 32gb is the biggest size, others have reported bigger. I have not tried this yet but this is what viewers have said is what works for video. Size 640x360, 30fps, max file size 2gb, max play back time of 150min. Supports avi, MP4, mov. Let us know how it goes
so finally i brought my AVH-X to play Videos on USB: I use an SandDisc USB 3.0 with 64 GB and Firefox on Windows 8.1 1. Download RUclips Videos with "4K Video Downloader" Freeware App. Choose the highest Resolution, 1080p HD Video to download. 2. Then convert the video with Freeware "DivX Converter" with following settings: - add the video to Convert, choose Output Settings "iPhone" and - customize the output-settings manually to 640x360 p - and leave the sound settings at AAC. Thats all. Looks good and Soundquality is good. Skipping and search in videos is no problem, no lag ect. I tryed the Firefox App "Video DownloadHelper" - it also only work at "360 p" Setting but have an terrible quality. Other RUclips Video Download Apps for Firefox doesen´t work to play the Video on the AVH-X in reason of different Settings from the mp4 / videocontainer / soundfile or something. Other people can convert with the DivX Converter to "HomeTheater" 720p but it doesent work at my AVH-X5800dab, no matter if i reduce the total stream under 1000 kbit/s or anything else.. Thank you for your support, i hope it helps to other people too.

Hey I have three vehicles they all have the Pioneer DVD players with the touchscreen and the USB port. The same car stereo business put all three of them in and all of them have the USB cord connected to the back of the unit and clearly tucked away but it assessable. After buying an iPod and downloading 400+ music videos would actually like to have them on the screen I do not need you to go or Netflix or anything like that I just would like to enjoy The music videos downloads. Is it possible to just buy the correct USB plug-in lightning for Apple and the special USB cord that goes to the lightning stick and then to my iPod that is I would really prefer to do I don't want to ask my friend to pull the stereos he did such a good job putting them in.. Since were friends now I hate for my next appointment to involve pulling the stereo. I have all the gear and certainly the music I'm so close so I'm going to check with your links. Get the model numbers off All three stereos make a list of what I need to order hopefully not pull The stereos.? But if we must we will end result carry my iPod from vehicle to vehicle simply plug it in when I get into the I have cords stay with the vehicles.. Unless U can Recommend a app to achieve end result music videos.Good audio is like having good tools on your workbench instead of a bunch of junk. What's your point?? If you have one of the avhs like I do youd know they are kind of boring for being a double din. An spending 600 plus on something that has more capability sometimes doesn't make sense. For 120 bucks I can get navigation on the screen movies music videos
I'm confused about my stereo. I have a JVC KW-V320BT it has a mini jack labeled IPOD/AV IN can I use that input jack for this? or should I use the other yellow, red, and white inputs? If I use this does the sound come out my speakers and subwoofer?

orvtan99 first check to see if your phone has MHL. Www.meetmhl.com if it does you can use the Samsung adapter.

Walter Malcom the Firestick was not compatible. You also need wifi for it to work

NOadventure what aux to rca did you get. It sounds like you got the wrong one. There are 2 different types, or it is bad

Kevin no, but it could happen for sure. Have you tried switching the RCAs at the radio? Or a different HDMI cable?

Other people can convert with the DivX Converter to "HomeTheater" 720p but it doesent work at my AVH-X5800dab, no matter if i reduce the total stream under 1000 kbit/s or anything else..

Hey I have three vehicles they all have the Pioneer DVD players with the touchscreen and the USB port. The same car stereo business put all three of them in and all of them have the USB cord connected to the back of the unit and clearly tucked away but it assessable. After buying an iPod and downloading 400+ music videos would actually like to have them on the screen I do not need you to go or Netflix or anything like that I just would like to enjoy The music videos downloads. Is it possible to just buy the correct USB plug-in lightning for Apple and the special USB cord that goes to the lightning stick and then to my iPod that is I would really prefer to do I don't want to ask my friend to pull the stereos he did such a good job putting them in.. Since were friends now I hate for my next appointment to involve pulling the stereo. I have all the gear and certainly the music I'm so close so I'm going to check with your links. Get the model numbers off All three stereos make a list of what I need to order hopefully not pull The stereos.? But if we must we will end result carry my iPod from vehicle to vehicle simply plug it in when I get into the I have cords stay with the vehicles.. Unless U can Recommend a app to achieve end result music videos.Good audio is like having good tools on your workbench instead of a bunch of junk. What's your point?? If you have one of the avhs like I do youd know they are kind of boring for being a double din. An spending 600 plus on something that has more capability sometimes doesn't make sense. For 120 bucks I can get navigation on the screen movies music videos

I'm confused about my stereo. I have a JVC KW-V320BT it has a mini jack labeled IPOD/AV IN can I use that input jack for this? or should I use the other yellow, red, and white inputs? If I use this does the sound come out my speakers and subwoofer?
